HI

Well done on all the cooking Bellie. Next time I am going to make sure that both my freezers are heaving with food. You would have thought I learnt after the first time but didn't. Dh and I often laugh about when we had DS1 and used to just about manage a microwave meal at 9pm - God knows what we were doing!!

I know that I will be terrible at giving clothes away - I would literally be mourning the loss of every jumper and set of dungarees..........Perhaps it would be best if I have a third boy they I can get to see them all again

Bellie · 14/01/2009 13:04

MJIM - she turned 4 in October so she shouldn't have started Reception until Sept 09, but the nursery and the school were convinced that she would be sooooo naughty if she got bored she would be better off in reception, and I think that they were right.

MrsPuddleduck · 14/01/2009 13:14

Well done on getting DD in reception Bellie - We should have done this last year for DS (5 on 5th Sept so oldest in class now) and he had a hell of a year as a result. A friend's little girl similar age to yours started reception last year a year early and is doing fine.

detoxdiva · 14/01/2009 13:45

Well done Bellie on getting dd into reception - MJIM, my dd must be same as your ds as she's not due to start until Sept 2010 when she'll be nearly 5. I can't imagine her at full time school.

Had 1st app with mw today - apparently everyone asks for an early scan so it's unlikely I'll get one, so private it is! Good news is that she thinks I'm an excellent candidate for a home birth due to my straightforward pg and birth with dd.

daisyj · 14/01/2009 14:02

Hi all

Just popped in to try to catch up! 29+4 here, and huge ? I posted a bump pic last week ? I?m all out front, and everyone at work thinks I look hilarious, although apparently I'm measuring correct for dates. Started antenatal classes last week ? and feeling a bit more prepared, as have started to buy a few things like baby sling, etc.

PCH congratulations What a great start to the year!

CE - the nursery is beautiful ? which site did you get the mural from? Has your mw given you exercises for helping to encourage the baby into the correct position? We?ve just started our antenatal class, and our mw was talking about this. I?m particularly interested as I have a slightly heart-shaped uterus, apparently, so baby is more likely to be breech.

Dawni - so sorry you?ve had such a disappointing month. Sending babydust your way for this cycle. at your DS, though, he sounds lovely. As does your dog

Dawn - lovely news about your girl. I just love the name, too ? so pretty.

HC - that?s so weird about your tap ? have you found out how it happened yet?

bellie - love, love Georgina May ? sounds very Southern Belle.

willmouse the witch got you. Hope it helps to be able to get things off your chest here. I don?t think YABU ? sometimes the pressure can just build up and it?s definitely best to let it out! I?m so not looking forward to the kids? parties bit of being a mum.

Daisy xx

Daisy you look great!

Just back from MW, all well (hooray - I'll never take anything for granted ever again),
she said my BHs are nothing to worry about unless they come every 10 mins for 2 hours or more and only feel so strong & frequent because I'm
'so slim with such fit abs'

HA HA HA

(reeeeally not true I am a size 12 jelly belly at best)

HumphreysCorner · 14/01/2009 19:03

Cor, you have been busy. Too many posts to reply to, soz. Will try harder tomorrow.

My friend had her little girl today (my string test was correct ) Not much else to report here apart from extreme cramps which I get post OV until AF comes. DPO 6 so AF due a week tomorrow.

Hate this dieting lark as dying for some peanuts. Have had a few. Will be kicking myself on Monday at Weight Watchers.

Love to all

Perhaps you are not eating enough? I was amazed at how much more a BF mother had to eat on the WW plan. Was loads.

I'm afraid it is very true. If you don't eat enough your body thinks it is being deprived and starts storing fat. Have made the same mistake myself before I was a WW guru . Used to eat less points than I should have and didn't lose weight. If BF you should be eating approx 8-10 points more a day and considering my daily points is 17 that is quite a lot more. When weaning I think it goes down to 5 extra.

Evening ladies, lots of chatter going on, its hard to keep up !!

A small suggestion MJIM eat small meals every 3 ours, like chicken/turkey and rice etc which can be made in bulk then just heated as needed, this way you will loose weight and still have good food in you, and jacket potatoe in the evenings for carbs

Hope that helps

Had a long soak in a hot bath with a face mask on while the lads were at the gym, it was pure bliss

Love to all

hi all,
just checking in quickly - I've not posted much recently but I have kept up with the thread. All is fine here, apart from the lack of sleep of course! Patrick now weighing 11 lb 9 oz, so my arms are very tired as he likes to be held a lot!! He has his jabs next week, not looking firward to that at all!

Hope all the other bonkers babies are still doing well - loving all the photos by the way. Bonked bonkers, hope you are looking after yourselves, eating well, sleeping lots and looking forward to the big day. Bonking bonkers, sending lots of baby dust coming your way.... Timed out bonkers, hope you are loking forward to getting back in the saddle!!

MJIM-not a bad mummy at all. Been there and got the T-Shirt as I am so quick to judge without actually listening to the evidence first then felt as guilty as you. When they get up early you assume it is because they have finished sleeping but as we know that is not always the case.

DPO 7 here and temps up and down like a yo yo. Will be miserable as now in the 2nd week of the 2WW and the closer I get to AF due date the more I will know I'm not PG. At least in the 1st week it is too early to tell. Ho hum!

Hope all OK, I am sooooooo cold

MJIM - definately not a bad mummy - we all do it - especially at that time in the morning!

38weeks today - hired my tens machine this morning so feeling slightly more prepared and also arranged with a neighbour that if I go into labour in the middle of the night she will get up and come and sit with dd if we need to dash to hospital and my mum and dad havn't arrived (they live 1.5 hours away)

HC - sorry that you are feeling miserable, it is awful the 2ww - I still remember it as if it was yesterday. Your turn will come soon and hopefully this month!!

It is rather cold here too but am determined not to put the heating on, as it is sooo expensive, and will need it on all the time when beanie is here!! Luckily am going out for lunch soon with friends so it won't matter!!

Wave to everyone else

Have just had to collect DD1 from school as she is poorly. Don't know what with though-have to believe her as she must seem bad for the school to send her home.

Bellie-not long now eh? Have a nice lunch.

Don't feel 100% myself so quite glad DD1 is home and we don't have to go dancing later. We can all veg infront of the fire.

Afternoon all

Bellie 38 weeks already - where has the time gone?? I am guessing a firl for you - purely because we are overloaded with boys already so we need some girls to keep Naomi company

MJIM you are so not a bad mum - at that time of the morning, it is hard to be patient with anyone isn't it?? Lol at you missing your DS - I actually breath a sigh of relief when Tuesday mornings come around and Josh goes to nursery for 4 days - I guess that makes me a bad mum He is such hard work though (but delightful with it of course ) - he would never spend a day sat snuggled under a duvet doing puzzles!!

Hi to everyone else - just typing this quickly before Sam starts moaning that he is left in the lounge by himself - then I think I am going to take him upstairs so we can both have a nap on my bed (didn't sleep very well last night so am tired!!)

Ceebee74 · 15/01/2009 13:22

Bellie - clearly that would be 'girl', not 'firl' [bluah]

HC sorry DD1 is poorly - vegging in front of the fire sounds lovely (again as Josh would not do that in a million years - I honestly don't know where he gets his energy from as he eats so little but runs around causing chaos constantly )
