Yes MJIM, I read your message - that's why I asked the mw if she would see if she could tell which way up baby was! Noone had mentioned it at appointments before then. She said just to grin and bear it but if it gets worse then tell them. I'm only 29 weeks so she said there's plenty of time for it to get it's a**e in gear and turn round! lol! (Think you're going to make a great mw one day btw! )

ChocEclair-loads of time for baby to turn. My friend who is due on Sunday had her breech baby turned 2 weeks ago. Bit of info: they turn them by prodding and pushing the bump. I had visions of a gloved hand up your bits-ew! I prodded my 2 all the time to get a reaction. Glad all is well.

Dawni-will say again. Implantation spotting? Put your feet up love.

Will do one more OPK because now my temp has risen I believe I must be DPO now.

Laters!

Hi all

CE - loads of time for baby to turn....dd was breach at about 30/31 weeks, the mw was still unsure by the time I got to 36 weeks so went for a scan and she had turned all by herself. So don't worry - they'll scan you later if needed.

6 weeks today - still knicker checking and counting the days to scan (17 ) but thankfully no horrible symptoms yet which was the case with dd so not too worried about that

ha ha ha .... you're making me want chicken dippers now! Actually I am being virtuous and am having an apple !!!! Trying not to get too fat in these final months!

I don't like the idea of that ECV much (sounds like it hurts!) - hope things happen on their own befre then - as you have all said - plenty of time. Thanks for reassuring me!

DD - only 17 days til scan - it doesn't sound long when you say it like that! Try to stay calm between now and then if poss! Well done on 6 week milestone

HC - I reckon you are DPO now aswell. Feel free to start symptom spotting for us whenever you like.....

Hope Naomi is now sleeping peacefully

I'm off for an early night and a DVD/Film on TV as DP is at work til 11.30. He is bound to wake me up tho when he comes in!

ChocEclair-my friend said it didn't hurt at all. Am already symptom spotting and will be for the next 2 weeks.

MJIM-your tea sounded yummy and exactly the sort I would like to eat if I wasn't trying to diet.

DD things seem to be going well hun, not tolong till your scan

MJIM Your tea sounded pretty wicked, I had cheese and beans on toast with 2 rashers of bacon as DS was at the gym and DH was at the docs, i was starved and fed up of waiting

CE Enjoy your early night, Im having a late one coz we're watching CBB !!

Catchya all 2moro

Good on your DH Dawni. Just got to persuade mine to go in Feb. OPK was -ive tonight so have done all we can do-onto the loooooong 2WW then.

BTW-tried to work on the potential of getting a new pram should the need arise by mentioning ChocEclair's pram and the mum at school's pram and DH said he knew where the conversation was leading. At least I have planted the idea in his head.

Night all.

just wanted to say a quick hello. feeding ds2 whilst typing so forgive my lack of typing!
Belgian sorry to hear the news was not better but at least you know what the problem is and hopefully will kick start your dh into giving up smoking.

Bellie good to hear from you-not long to go!

CE loads of time for baby to turn. get scrubbing the kitchen floor.

HC fingers crossed
Willmouse enjoy your break.Glad you clarified earlier on in thread that i am not ttc-now that would be crazy!!

HI to everyone else

All fine here. finding three kids hard work and have been a bit emotional this week. happened when my others were three weeks as well. Still it is lovely despite the exhaustion.

majormoo · 10/01/2009 10:30

just read the latest bit on thread-Dawni great that your Dh is trying all he can.
dd good luck with the scan

MrsPuddleduck · 10/01/2009 11:05

Morning all! Hope everyone is having a lazy saturday.

Bellie - did you conceive immediately after your HSG. With Ds1 I conceived immediately after my laperoscopy and was told by the consultant at the time that often when they have a prod around down there it makes your body release and egg. Can everyone please chuck a load of dust over me next Wednesday!

HC - I too was a serial baby prodder. Never knew they didn't like it - they've not complained since

CE - loads of time for baby to move as everyone said. DS2 was breech but no-one bothered to check properly as I was in for a planned c-section anyway. I remember heads rolling in theater when the consultant who carried out the section realised that the baby was breech - he went politely nuts at the midwives!

MJIM - your tea sounds fab! I love onion rings! You were very good eating the beans - I wouldn't have bothered!!!

Dawni - never knew men could have clomid! Does that mean he will get all the mood swings etc? My DH has his sperm test on 19th - and is quietly confident actually not so quiet about it

Majormoo - you definitely need a break from ttc! LOL

I wonder if anyone will have a second while this thread is still going? Now that WOULD be an achievement!

Anyway, best go, the boys are still in their pjamas!!

hello all,

thought I would come on here to save my sanity!! MIL arrived this morning with her friends for her 70th birthday(long story about why here!) and she is now conducting a tour of our house to all her friends grrr she has had nothing to do with our house not even helping us paint/furnish or anything and is now walking around the place like she owns it!! I am trying not to get stressed but it is hard when she is showing off so much!!!

willmouse, I conceived the second month after the HSG. What it did do was put my ov to the middle of the cycle rather than nearer the end and that seemed to be the key. I am not sure how much you want to know but take painkillers would be my advice. dust *

Hope everyone is having a good day - mine is going to be trying! Did think I was getting a show this morning, but only clear goo not pinkish/brownish - what do you all think?

MJIM - sounds great when you say a holiday for 4 - we are going in May (not to butlins though) and it sounds good to say the 4 of us!

Bellie-your MIL will be bringing labour on and why on earth are they in your house at this stage of your pregnancy? My mucous plug wasn't tinged with anything with DD1 but a bit more so with DD2. Both plugs happened the day before the birth-eek! Now chill out!

MJIM-that is what we thought about our family of 4 until last year when we decided to go for No3.

FF still hasn't confirmed OV-perhaps tomorrow then I can start obsessing.

Hope all OK.

Bellie · 10/01/2009 15:50

MIL is having her birthday party here!! My rules were that dh does EVERYTHING!! needless to say we are having takeout!

She is now trying to get dd to do whatever she wants - e.g. dance dd, put your cinderella dress on dd, do this dd - and then getting huffy when my very strong minded dd won't do it!!

Will keep an eye on the mucus - definately remember with dd it being brown/pink so I guess I was being a bit blase this time, maybe it will happen sooner rather than later!!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you HC!

Bellie · 10/01/2009 15:55

Oh yes - dh nearly fainted when I pointed out that doing everything meant making the beds/washing the linen/ and ironing afterwards!! (think 4 double beds worth of guests). But still he wouldn't say no to his mum so I am letting him get on with it!!

Dawni · 10/01/2009 16:33

Wow BELLIE what an afternoon your having, sound like fun !!!

HC Count down time now, this is the bit i hate Goog luck to you xx

MJIM Good heavens we have a lot of common interests dont we, well cool

Willmouse Must admit hun, i didnt know that men could take clomid either, i was amazed !! I was even more amazed when he said about the sperm test as i hadnt dared mention it just yet, was going to wait until the 6 month mark then slip it into a conversation

Well, I woke early hours with terrible AF pains again, but all day there has been a dull ache, sometimes feeling more like an upset stomach !! Now 6DPO, still a way to go cm white and sticky (TMI)

Love to all

D xx

Bellie · 10/01/2009 16:37

Dawni - could still be positive for you - fingers crossed - it could definately be implantation!

Dawni · 10/01/2009 16:59

OH bellie I am seriously symptom spotting, keep googling 'cramps after ovulation' I am loosing the plot big style, hope your putting your feet up !!!

D xx

Bellie · 10/01/2009 17:59

I am definately putting my feet up!! DH is looking a bit ragged!!

You are not loosing the plot you are just trying to conceive! It happens to us all and we all go through it! Hugs for you

PurpleCrazyHorse · 10/01/2009 19:14

Bellie you made me smile loads - thinking of you lots. Have fun with your feet up watching DH do everything. LOL

Thinking of you Dawni, big hugs
