Oh belgian-so sorry it isn't better news. Didn't realise your DH smoked as that is the first thing the Dr said to me is that my DH would have to not smoke or drink as it hinders conception but luckily he does neither. Personally I would try IVF and if your DH does manage to quit it will be health boost to him.

DawnAS-new mattresses do take a bit of getting used to. Probably not the best of times to bed it in though.

I think my OPK was a definite +ive as my temp has dipped today so that might mean OV is today hence the line last night.

Must get some lunch as am starving. Love to all.

Hi all

Belgian - sorry about your news, but maybe quitting smoking may make the difference you need to conceive naturally - you are not that far off.

Dawni - hope you are feeling better today.

HC - hope you had a productive evening

MJIM - I love your pictures - my fave is the one at 9 weeks.

I am just waiting until next month - things seem to be going very slowly - cant start to ttc until after HSG. They refuse to do the test if you have had sex since your last AF and the test. I think it is OK after that. Off to center parcs on 23rd for long weekend so hopefully that will pass the time (plus a week before packing and a week after washing....)

Decided not taking the children on - it is too much for me anyway. I am trying to help the lady find an alternative but it is virtually impossible to get two places around here.

Dawni · 08/01/2009 14:11

Good afternoon ladies, what a long day at work, couldnt get into one of my calls, when i'd eventually got a key from a friend, my client was laid in the kitchen up against a burning radiator !!! she had fallen sometime through night but was very confused, poor soul now in hospital.

HC fingers crossed for a darker line today hun x

BB My hubby is taking bulgarian tribulis, its a testosterone boost...it may help Im not exactly a good advert though , but my DH is a body builder and his diets dont always help !!!

MJIM Hope DS had a lovely first day, he sounded very excited x

OAA Good luck for you, not long to wait x

Im still having cramping and boobs are sore, its 4DPO which isnt much...AF due in 9 days, what a pain in the posterior !!!!

Gotta get the hoover out now then do the dishes, may6be go to the gym at 4 if ive any strength left to get there

Love to all

D xx

Hi everyone,

Just dashing by to check up on the latest news - there's so much going on here!

Am crap at doing individual replies but I do try to read up.
Just to say:
Big congrats for BFPs!
BB I'm so sorry to hear the news but on the bright side it's within your control to change it. With your support I'm sure he can do it (I dreaded giving up smoking and was surprised how easy it was).
DawnAS so happy to hear you're happy and that your baby is doing well.
HC fingers crossed for you (and everyone else of course!) as ever.

Work is beyond crazy so v little time to worry - or be online! Baby is doing well (fingers crossed) AND we got the date for the CS today: 16 March.
Baby's birthday!
Makes it all so real. Can't wait.

Thinking about everyone and sending lots of love,
xx

Bellie · 08/01/2009 16:56

Hello all - sorry sorry sorry for not being on before now. Have been manically busy and tired and generally seeming out of sorts for the last month or so.

However popped on to say - congrats to those that have had their babies and congrats to those with BFP's!

I am 37 weeks on Thurs and it is starting to get real now! Due date is 29th Jan but have a cs booked for 5th Feb if nothing happens as absolutely petrified of being induced.

Wave to everyone that I know and hello to the ones that have joined since I was last here - will promise to try to be on more often!

love to you all

Bellie

HumphreysCorner · 08/01/2009 18:11

Bellie-fab to see you. An induction is fine, honestly and nothing to be afraid of and you recover instantly after your baby is born. But, am pleased you have a definite plan to suit you. We were all worried about you ya know.

Have just done an early OPK and it would appear to be a tad brighter than last nights so maybe OV day is tomorrow. Time will tell I suppose.

Dawni-4 DPO cramps could be implantation or anything like that so don't panic yet.

Hope all OK.

Bellie · 08/01/2009 19:08

Sorry didn't mean to worry anyone, just not been myself lately and for some reason computers have not been on my agenda! Hard to explain, but just needed me time I guess!

Really hoped that you would have had a BFP by now, have been thinking about you, fingers crossed for you and all the others still trying xx

Like the friendliness of this thread so much

Symptoms seem to have ground to a halt today, still got bad cramps but they feel AF-ish, and have greasy hair of doom, def AF sign. No nausea anymore. Still having extremely vivid dreams every night though!
Af due Sat....

HumphreysCorner · 08/01/2009 20:33

onlyanauntie-lots of luck for you but remember that we are here to support you whatever the outcome.

Dawni · 08/01/2009 20:44

Well.....Never made it to the gym , I took max for a walk then i sat down with a brew and the pregnancy & birth magazine, i love that mag.

Got reading earlier when searching on google that alot of woman also start cramping from as early as 2dpo, the same as what im feeling, i know it doesnt help my predicement but i feel better knowing im not weird or the only one this happens too

things are looking good HC for bright opk, good luck xx

Love to all

Hi all - thanks for all the kindness about the nursery! I love it, and yes it was a mural that we got off the internet! I could never paint that lol!

bellie - I am so relieved to know you are ok. I admit was thinking bad stuff had happened. Keep us posted as baby could make his/her appearance any time! Yey!

Dawn - hope you sleep better tonight. How is your little bump coming on????

BB - sorry to hear sperm results not what hoped for, but as mandy says at leats it is semi-within your control. My DP gave up smoking shortly after we got together and he says it was nowhere near as bad as he expected. He was skint which helped and I refused to pay for them! pmsl! Wish him good luck from us.

auntie - vivid dreams is a pg sign you know!

hc - yey for the dark opk. Get to bed now!

dawni - agree, could easily be an implantation bleed - ceebee's turned into baby Sam remember!

MJIM - I almost shed a tear reading about how your ds was so excited about nursery that he was up with lunch box an hour early. That might just be the sweetest thing I have heard in a long time! Awwww. PS. The photos are mint. Truly adorable children.

Mandy - hope you are finding time to relax as well as rushing about!?!?!?! You are a week ahead of me and I'm knackered! take it easy girl!

Willmouse - sorry you are having to wait )again). It must seem like an eternity when you just want to get ttc! Center parcs is great though so it will help take your mind off it.

I have my first "bump to baby" class tomorrow! I am quite nervous actually - hope it's not too embarassing. DP says he will leave if he has to quote "huff and puff" in front of everyone! oh dear.....

Quick question. For the last few days I have had a tender bit near top of bump. Feels a bit like if I had been poked. No bruise or anything though. I assume it is baby, poking a particular spot on the inside???? Anyone any experience???

Wow - this thread really does move quickly again - see all we needed was some more TTcer's

Bellie so glad you are ok - like the others, have been worried about you but completely understand why you needed to get away and have some me-time. Can't wait to hear about the birth of your lo!!

Hi to everyone else - sorry this is so rushed etc - I do read everyone's posts I promise but haven't got time for individual replies!

Sam has been really grumpy today so struggled to get much done!!

I hope HM2J is ok - she hasn't posted on the PN thread for ages either.

MJIM your children really are beautiful - Naomi is such a pretty little thing, I bet you just want to kiss her all day!!

HumphreysCorner · 08/01/2009 21:33

ChocEclsir-am positive it is nothing to worry about but mention at your next midwife appointment.

Lol MJIM-I will fall over from the shock if I ever get a BFP.

Have to say am delighted that my cycle seems normal again. Have just paid £30 to renew my VIP membership on FF. Can't believe I've had it a year already.

Mum and dad here now so must dash. Back later!

Thanks for your concern MJIM and CE . I'm a freelancer in children's book publishing so never want to turn down a commission (as any freelancer knows!).
But I rarely have to get out of the house and it's really fun so no stress really - but now I'm racing to complete a few projects before the baby so cutting down on the Internet.

CE I have those tender spots too - I reckon it's a sharp little knee or two. Good luck with the class!

Bellie lovely to see you!

Fingers crossed onlyanauntie - it aint over until the AF b*tch sings...

MJIM you are killing me with cuteness with those lovely pics!

Ceebee I hope lovely Sam is happier now.

HC I'm really pleased your cycle seems back to normal again too. Yay!

Love to everyone, have a good day.

Hi all.

Have been to Wacky this morning with Ds and mindee - hate the damn place but at least it kept them quiet.

Af looks as if she is about to show, which is good as it all ties in nicely for my HSG in a week and a half.

Manged to activate my tax return on line thingy so all I need now is a pin number (and quite quickly....) Don't have any tax to pay so should be OK.

Dawni - hope your lady was OK. Sounds awful that she couldn't even make it to the telephone.

CE - sounds like you have a knee or elbow or foot there to me. Have you tried giving it a push? I used to shove both of mine out of the way perhaps don't do that.....!

MrsPuddleduck · 09/01/2009 13:24

MJIM - why have you been up all night?

afternoon - stuggling to get going today - not sleeping well at the moment everytime I turn it is agony as it seems to pull all my muscles. Still good preparation for when baby comes along!!

Packed my bags today (yes bags!!) one for me and one for bump!

Willmouse - fingers crossed that af behaves and that HSG goes well (I am convinced that it worked for me!!)

ChocolateEclair · 09/01/2009 16:27

Thanks for the advice ladies. The class was great actually, a really nice mw and nice ladies (not the sterotypes I was expecting ). I also mentioned the tender bump and she examined me. Apparently it is the head! Baby is breech atm. Also I am now 2.5 cm bigger than I am supposed to be as baby is REALLY high up in my ribs and there's nothing down in my pelvis! How odd! Might explain the heartburn/vomiting so early!!!! She said not to poke baby too much as it won't like it! pmsl! [GRIN]

bellie - well done on bag packing, but sorry you are in pain. Only a little while longer.

mjim - sorry for disturbed night. You never seem to get much sleep!!!!

willmouse - sounds like perfect timing to me

ceebee - hope Sam is smily again today
