Dawni-lol at you. When I scrutinise the paper at my mum and dad's I always have to look a tad closer as their toilet paper always gives a pink tinge. Sometimes I wipe until I'm sore to try and get something on the paper.

majormoo-how frustrating that you may be induced. Still a few days to go before then. Fingers crossed eh?

belgianbun-hope your sis isn't too poorly with the treatment. Looking forward to you joining us all in the New Year.

detox-that is usually me waiting for OV but this month my OPK's were positive for the last 10 nights and if I hadn't run out I would do one tonight. What's all that about then?

Off on the school trip to see Jack and The Beanstalk-am a helper So will see you all when I return. Fee Fi Fo Fum.......

Big Wave!

Frosty....need your expert eye on this chart

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2173bb

Last time the temp jump was much greater - do you think I ov'd yesterday from this? The opk's have had feint +ive lines on them for the past 3 days, and I remember last cycle I had a definate red line.

Managed to grab dh before he left for the gym this morning just to be on the safe side

Hi everyone,

Just popping on to say that I finally got my consultant appointment through yesterday....of course for a day I couldn't make. So I called them this morning to try to change it and we have an appointment for tomorrow at 11.40am!!!

Having a crappy cycle this month....DD - I don't know if I've OV'ed yet either!! Got a strong + on Sat and then weaker one on Sun....but no OV pains...so I can't tell. Just going to wait and see, plus we hardly BD'ed at all, so I am writing off this month as a dodgy cycle.

Big waves to everyone and good luck to Majormoo - hope your LO start to come soon! And good luck to the TCCers...!

BSOB x

BlueStarOverBethlehem · 16/12/2008 11:44

DD - by the looks of your chart you OV'ed yesterday....but wait and see if your temp stays high...you need three for FF to pinpoint OV.

Heartmum2Jamie · 16/12/2008 11:56

Majormoo, I am sorry you are feeling despondant, but don't forget that my first sweep didn't work either, but must have done something as when I went for another sweep a few days later, I had made tons of progress and that sweep put me into labour within an hour. Sending lots of baby come out vibes!

MJIM: Glad to hear the kids are sleeping again now. I also have to finish my wrapping, probably am about 60% done, but I only get maybe 45 minutes in the evening to wrap IF Zack goes to sleep and stays asleep at 10.30

BB, stil holding your sister in my thoughts.

BSL: Good luck at your appt tomorrow.

HC, DD, Dawni, I am sending lots of christmas babydust your way.

Sorry to anyone I missed. Love to all.

Hello to everyone, its been a busy day on here !!

BSOB good luck with your appointment, hope all goes well xx

MJIM congratulations on the sleep

DD keep at it hun xx

HM2J thanks for the baby dust hun, ive sneezed a few times today, must have been cause of you xx

frosty i never buy coloured paper anymore so i can see what going on down there !! xx

Ive made an appointment to see my doctor on thursday, no AF but plenty of stomach cramps thats lasted nearly a week and another BFN today. I wonder if i have a problem as ive never been checked since my laparoscopy 12 years ago, except the odd blood tests showing i do ovulate. when i bleed it lasts a day then nothing for a week then i bleed heavy for 3-4 days then i ovulate !!! and there is no CM as ive no time to get back to normal after the bleed !! then i get EWCM about a week too late ?

BB hope your sis isnt too poorly after the radiotherapy xx

Love to all

I'm back and Jack and The Beanstalk was brill. Have nearly lost my voice through all the shouting.

detox-I would say you OV'd yesterday so good thing you sent some more troups in. Infact, your chart is similar to mine with the 2 rises-must be a good sign!

Dawni-pain about your headgasket as they are fairly cheap to buy but not to have fitted by a garage. Hope your AF sorts itself out. My cycle has been all over the place since September but fingers crossed that it is back to normal this month.

Baby Naomi 12 weeks!

Hi everyone - hope you are all well. I'm finding it so hard to keep up with you all!

glad that the babies are sleeping better...
sorry about the bfn's.....
good luck with the charts (looking good!)...
hope your sis is ok....
good luck with the consultant app.......
shock at Naomi being 12 weeks!.....

and come out baby!!!!

I had a bit of trouble at work today as I fainted in the middle of a lesson (oh the shame!...) Got sent to the mw who said baby is fine and so am I, but has taken some blood to check for low iron levels. I sent dp to get me a massive juicy steak for tea! Still, only 3 more days left til xmas hols so hoping it doesn't happen again! Have any of you guys fainted during pg? I'm hoping it's reasonably normal!(I'm 25 weeks now)

Love to all CE xxx

OP posts:
detoxdiva · 16/12/2008 18:37

Welcome back CE - goodness, hope you are ok. Fainting is quite common in pg, esp if your blood pressure is low, as mine was throughout my pg. Good idea about the steak though..yum! Take it easy for the rest of the week, and then put your feet up for Xmas

detoxdiva · 16/12/2008 18:39

Oh how rude...and good luck with the consultant tomorrow BSOB

juanitad · 16/12/2008 19:15

Hi everyone,

Majormoo, sorry you are feeling frustrated. I got to 41+1 too, that's when it happened for me.......maybe you're getting on with pushing out your LO right now! Hope it all goes ok, can't wait for your news.

CE - I felt faint quite a few times when I was pg. I remember being in Sainsburys one time and thinking I was going to pass out....I managed to drag myself to the passport photo booth, where I sat down with my head between my legs for about 10 mins till I felt better again! My blood pressure is quite low, so it could be to do with that, although my iron levels were normal. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but I would recommend that you teach sitting down as much as you can in your last few weeks at school. If you're anything like me, it won't feel very natural, but you need to conserve your energy as much as you can.

I was telling my mum all about mumsnet today, and she has a read of some of the messages and was very interested to know what all the discussion re: FF and temp taking was about. When I explained it, she told me that she spent ages before she got married charting her temps so that she could use the rhythm method as a contraceptive once she got married! She's a good catholic girl, so didn't want to be using any other form of contraceptive! How times have changed! It didn't work too well though, as my brother came along while she was still using the rhythm method!!

Hope everyone is well - just 9 days till Christmas, unbelievable! The time just seems to be passing by in a blur for me at the moment!

It's bloomin' crazy around here. All well though. Can't wait for some time off.
Thinking lots about everyone.

BlueStarOverBethlehem · 17/12/2008 17:01

Hi everyone,

Back from our consultant appointment and things are moving forward albeit slowly. The next steps are that DH has to take a load of supplements for 2 months and then have a blood test and another sperm assessment test and we go about in about 2.5 months to see what the results are and take things from there.

It's likely that we will have some kind of IVF (maybe ICSI). Once again the consultant was massively running behind (over 1.5hrs) and we never even got to see him. We saw a doctor who was helping him, very young and junior. But since the next step is to wait for more test results it doesn't really matter.

I came away feeling a little down, as I had expected to have a clearer idea of what our options were, but DH made me realise I was being unreasonable. He said he felt we were actually being fast-tracked, if anything. And I have to admit I know he's right!!!

Anyhow, gonna do a catch up shortly in a separate message as this one is getting too long

BSOB x

Dawni · 17/12/2008 18:19

BSOB at least your moving forward hun, it just seems an age having to wait all the time, but your time will come, have hope and believe it will happen {sending love} chin up xx

frosty sounds like the panto was good i used to love going when DS was little xx

Im having a right downer of a day im afraid, just hormones as usual, AF still not showed, getting fed up as i always do at this time knowing im not pregnant again {fsad} and having pains for a week before AF even arrives.

On a happier note, DS came in from school and went to his room, he shouted that there was a spider on the wall ! DH is out, so cant deal with it, so i run through the door so it cant jump on me, followed closely by the dog !! the spider is beside the door frame so then we cant get out without killing it and we are both too scared to walk by it, so for 20 minutes the 3 of us are on the bed histerical !!!!
I got DS trainer and edged towards it with my eyes shut screaming the whole time while DS is giving me directions and the dog is barking....I did manage to splat it after a near heart attack and dived back onto the bed while the dog inspected the trainer id threw on the floor..... we both fell about laughing but it was terrifying at the time of murder

Love to all

D xx

detoxdiva · 17/12/2008 19:04

Evening all

BSOB - glad your appointment went well, and while I can feel your frustration, dh is right - at least things are starting to happen for you. And who knows, you might get that bfp in the meantime - my bf did!!

Dawni - hope you're feelin better soon, and that either af arrives or you get some good news, as at least you'll know where you stand. What cd are you now?

Well, aftr thinking I may have ov'd on Monday, my temp dropped back down this morning I have also had more ewcm today, but got a -ive opk. Am sooooo confused, so have just decided to bd at every opportunity to be safe My longest cycle to date has been 40 days (so would have ov'd around cd 26) and as it's only cd 20, I guess there's still a chance I haven't missed that egg this month

Morning ladies

bluestar-although it may seem a slow process you have progressed a tad.

detox-your chart is making me think you might have OV'd earlier despite the lack of a +ive OPK.

DPO 7 here and feeling so nauseous but think it may be down to maybe catching the cold DH has got as he said he felt dizzy and nauseous. Only time will tell.

Dawni-any sign of AF yet?

MJIM-good luck with the wrapping. I only have 2 things to wrap but it has taken me forever. Can DH help or your DSIS? Sorry Naomi was sick. DD2 was a bit like that when she was very young. Picked her up once and she sicked straight into my mouth-eww!!!

Have made some mince pies this morning. This afternoon it is the school open afternoon so more money to be spent. Had to decorate a paper plate up to the value of £1 for one of the stalls. No chance as mug was £1, choc coins were £1 and 2 crackers taken out of £1 box. They wanted them decorating with florists paper so I used my free cling film. Doesn't look so nice though so may have to buy someone elses plate.

Right ho, better get on. Hi to all! Back soon!
