My temp rose a tad this morning so whoopee! Have Marzipanned my Christmas Cake and going to watch DD1 in the Strange Play Nativity Play later. She is wearing a pair of curtains.

Frosty...yipee - hope you have ov'd and keeping my fingers crossed. My temp was back to normal today so don't think anything has happened here yet. Will do an opk shortly but am not hopeful as have had no ewcm at all.

Been to see dd in her pre-school play this morning. Very cute! Have some classic video footage of her not singing much and picking her nose instead

frosty Curtains sounds good !!! I was once in a carnival as snow white and my mam made a dress out of deep purple curtains with even darker purple dots.....sounds bloody awful but it was nice when on
Good luck with the BDing, you lot seem to test for ages, i think im going wrong somehow, once i get a +OPK then we BD every other night for a week then thats it and I never test again. Do you think im doing it all wrong ?? DH has to go on another waiting list now to see the orthopedic surgon, it doesnt half take along time for something to be done at the hospital.

And what on earth is ewcm ? i really dont understand alot of shortened terms

Im off tomorrow so going to deliver presents to DH family, our DS wants us out the house anyways because the girlfriend is coming and im sure we will cramp his style !!!!

Dawni - ewcm = egg white cervical mucus Well, you did ask!!! Basically, when this, ahem, 'appears' then you are entering your fertile time. In the last cycle I monitored I got 3 days of ewcm before my + opk, followed by a sharp temp rise.

Yes, we do test a lot don't we but I have found it has helped me understand my cycle in a way I never have before, and as such I hope for my bfp this month

detoxdiva i have ewcm today and yesterday but my +OPK was on the 3rd !!! now im well confused with my body, i eventually worked out what ewcm stood for then went to do a test but in was negative, there will be no bfp for me

I just gotta keep on going

Dawni - have you looked at Fertility Friend.com? Frosty is the expert but I'm finding it really useful to get to know my cycles.

There are many types of mucuc (ewww, sorry!) and the most fertile type is the clear really stretchy one - don't lose hope for this month, am keeping my fingers crossed!

Girls, have had no CM at all this month but lots of +ive OPKs. Normally it is the other way round. I am hopeful for us all every month.

Thankyou girls, i will do that tomorrow, im so depressed today cause ive awful period pains and i was begining to wonder why i keep putting myself through this, then i rethink calmly and remember how much i want to hold a baby of my own again, just like you all do too.....

Hello all

Had another temp dip today but another very bright red OPK last night so who knows.

On the upside-got a new Toshiba Netbook (early Chrissie Pressie) with an 8.9 inch screen. So excited as I will be so portable and able to MN and Facebook from every room in the house.

Had an incident in the toilets in the shopping precinct though which as made me a tad upset. Needed the loo before we went back to the car so was going to nip quickly but DD1 said she needed a poo. Asked if deffo did and she said yes so went all the way through Primark and to the toilets. Of course she didn't want to go so said I was going to take her book just purchased back for lying. She then had her usual screaming fit. Came out to wash my hands and the lady cleaning the sinks asked what I was taking back. I said nothing, it's OK but she was in my face and carried on questioning. By this time there was a huge queue for the toilets so lots of people listening. Felt like everyone was thinking I was a terrible mother but there is no way I would take her book back. Was just a warning threat. Ho hum!

I done a preg test this morn but it was neg which i expected, still have lower abdo pains but had 3 days of ewcm but no +OPK, ive been writing down every little thing in a diary to see if it happens next month also, my major problem is when i first bleed its minute, then a week later my Pd starts with gusto, so im never sure which one to count from !!! CD28 is tomorrow from a tiny bleed i had which goes right with how my body feels but if i count from the second one im not due for another 10 days !!
Why cant it be bloody simlpe !!!!!!!! and because i bleed twice im getting the +OPKs right after the 2nd so there is no CM at all, and this is making it hard work.

Im gonna stop whinging at you's and go watch the telly, my DH is still snoring in bed, he had a poor night with pain in his stump

Never quite left the chair, been scanning the web again....I WILL GET PREGNANT

On my agenda to try for this coming month is Robitussin cough medicine which increases CM and if i cant get that then Guaifenesin does the same thing and that can come in pill form (by doctor)and i am also going to invest in a fertility tracker or fertile focus which is a saliva test and it predicts ovulation up to 5 days in advance, ive read all about it and its very simple to use and easier than tracking body temp. I found a web site called Hi-Baby.co.uk and they do next day delivery for saliva test thingy or i may have a look on ebay and see if i can get a bargain !!!

Morning Dawni - I used a saliva test microscope when ttc dd. I found it very easy to use, although you do need quite good eyesight

More ewcm here today, so think I am having a v ong cycle again, as it is now cd 17 and haven't ov'd yet. Prob a good thing as dh has been working late shifts all weekend so have missed a couple of days bd'ing!!

Whoopee do! Despite not being able to BD last night and thinking I OV'd yesterday due to big temp rise today FF has confirmed OV as last Thurs on CD 13. Yay! So now DPO 3.

Dawni-am so sorry about your BFN. This will be me on Boxing Day when I am due to test but I should think AF will arrive on Christmas Eve as normal.

Hope all OK, better go and entertain. Spent hours this morning helping DD1 write all her Christmas cards.

Crikey, have made a terrible mistake with my new laptop as I can't see the writing. It is all blurred and giving me eyestrain. What an expensive mistake!

OH dear frosty I find if i use DH laptop i struggle, and i wear contacts through the day, but to see the laptop clearly i need my glasses on !! Its stupid o'clock and i cant see down the drive for fog, im off to work, check in later...No AF yet, just waitng again

Dawni-hope AF stays away for you. DH is going to try and take the laptop back once he has removed everything from it that he spent hours putting on. I would need to wear my glasses to use it and as I only wear them for driving I don't want my eyes to rely on them all the time. If they won't take it back it will be an Ebay job or DH will keep it. My Christmas present too so will be presentless this year-boo hoo!

no Frosty no baby yet. Feeling very despondent as am 41+1 today. Midwife tried to do a sweep but my cervix is still posterior so she could not complete it. Feels like I am doomed to induction on Sunday. So am now bleeding, feeling pre-menstral and all for nothing.

Despite my whingeing post,hope everyone else is well.

frosty such a shame about the laptop, what a bummer !!! Still no AF today, abdo pain not as bad either but not building hopes......My car is at the doctors, the head gasket has gone, what a blooming time to give up, the thing will cost a bomb, its a freelander with a bloody V6 engine, what on earth possesed me to buy it, its been a nightmare from day one... NEVER AGAIN !!! Anyhooo.....fingers crossed for you hun
