Ive seen July and August today so thought I'd start my own.

Me and dh gonna ttc No.3 shortly, although have no idea when to aim for september baby? Having my mirena coil out next week and then just gonna go for it

Long shot, but my breasts are so tender and I don't normally get that with AF.

I want to stay with this thread though

mosschops30 · 03/11/2008 13:23

well you cant this is a september thread

bratnav · 04/11/2008 09:47

Definitely not, AF started last night

bratnav · 04/11/2008 09:47

Sticking with you ladies though

TrixieVix · 04/11/2008 10:29

Ohh - hello...may I join too?

We're ttc from January, although came off the pill 6 months ago (been careful since then) to get my cycle regular again - took 6 months last time.

Am so excited about ttc - never got the chance with DS - wasn't exactly planned although was being tested for PCOS and thought we'd have difficulty.

Have been taking my folic acid and everything this time - gone a bit ott and bought ovulation kits in preparation....think DH think's I've gone completely mad

bratnav · 04/11/2008 12:39

Welcome Trixie, lucky you to get the ov tests in the house! My DP has stated in no uncertain terms that he is having none of it.

How old is your DS?

mosschops30 · 04/11/2008 19:15

yay bratnav you get to stay with the girls. But so sorry that your AF arrived

My mirena came out today, totally painless (a bit different to it going in)!!
According to my GP the next time I have an AF it will be a real AF in a real cycle.
Hopefully this will be early to mid november then I will be ready tc in December

Im so excited, Ive never ttc before either, both of mine were unplanned. Welcome to trixie

Does anyone know what EWCM is? It is all over the conception threads (which I am trying really hard not to read) but I have no clue.

bratnav · 04/11/2008 19:45

Well we weren't really trying yet, so I suppose it was a long shot anyway. DP VERY supportive about my slightly dippy crying fit late last night

TrixieVix · 04/11/2008 20:03

Yay - pleased there are others to get excited with!!

Bratnav - sorry AF arrived - I know what it's like when that happens (I took a pg test yesterday - negative!!) and was stupidly disappointed.....also knew it was a long shot, but still...

DS is 2 next month - can't believe my baby is growing up so quickly! He said "Mummy a silly billy" earlier today because I tripped up the stairs...made me realise that's he's understanding humour now!

VickyJane77 · 04/11/2008 20:06

EWCM is egg white cervical mucus, and its the state of the cervical mucus around the time of ovulation, it's very clear and stretchy.

bratnav · 05/11/2008 09:26

that is nausea by the way and not envy!

bratnav · 05/11/2008 09:28

Oooh and slight development, DP said last night that I should stop taking the pill now rather than at the end of the packet (3ish weeks). So no more pills for me, but I think I would still rather have a September baby than August, DD2 is a September baby and is coping so much better with school than DD1 who is a June baby did.

mosschops30 · 06/11/2008 14:28

WTF?? who talks about that sort of stuff gag
EWCM aside ...... I started my folic acid this morning, am hoping for proper AF soon so that I can work out my cycle and hopefully conceive in December

Am back again - is it really stupid to get waves of excitement about even trying to conceive?!

Am taking my folic acid religiously and am trying desparately to lose my remaining baby weight before ttc again....am worried as I put on 4st with last one, and am still a good 1-1.5 st overweight. Someone said to me you might as well wait until you're finished having babies to lose it all, but then I read that it's more difficult if you don't?!

VickyJane77 · 06/11/2008 16:16

Sorry mosschops didn't mean to make you gag, but bratnav did ask!

bratnav · 06/11/2008 20:53

Sorry, my fault

Need to stop smoking patches at weekend I think

TrixieVix · 09/11/2008 09:21

Quick update.....I'm 4 days late

mosschops30 · 09/11/2008 15:29

bratnav come and join the no smoking thread

trixie have you done a test? You know you will be banished from the thread if you are

I got AF on Friday which i guess means that we'll be trying in jabuary now as this time in december will be too early, bit disappointed but at least it should be my 3rd cycle so I should know where I am. Feels weird being a woman again after having the mirena for 3.5 years and no AF

bratnav · 09/11/2008 21:56

Will do mosschops, can you throw me a link?

Trixie-are you abandoning us???? Good for you if you are

Why would it be too early if you don't mind me asking moss?

DP is loving this, he is practically skipping into work!

mosschops30 · 10/11/2008 16:20

Because if AF arrives at the beginning of December then baby will be due beginning of Sept, so if I go early will be born in August which would be just my luck

OP posts:
bratnav · 10/11/2008 16:39

thanks, will join up soon

We are starting to TTC now, just to give ourselves a 'run up' before the main event I cannot have a new baby to deal with at the end of the summer hols, I wouldn't leave the hospital for weeks

TrixieVix · 10/11/2008 22:55

Whoops - not abandonded you!! Been at work....

Still no AF, but not tested as yet...

MissieMoosMummy · 11/11/2008 01:16

Hello ladies!

Can I join in? Pretty please
I'm going to ttc #2. I've got a little bit of pressure to perform here because all my family's birthdays & anniversaries are in September so far, and I wouldn't like the little mite to be the odd one out if it can be helped.

We were only 'sort of' trying with DD and I conceived in the first month (didn't realize I was pg until Feb the penny finally dropped after my New Year hangover lingered, seemed to turn into flu and finally started to make my food taste funny). I'm really hoping I'm this lucky again as I am crap with suspense!
