Can we have an 'aiming for a September baby' thread?

Ive seen July and August today so thought I'd start my own.

Me and dh gonna ttc No.3 shortly, although have no idea when to aim for september baby? Having my mirena coil out next week and then just gonna go for it

Oooh, can I join in, I have just started my last packet of mini-pills before TTC

My DD2 was born in the middle of Sept (about on time) and she was conceived on 27th December (no sex for 2 weeks either side of that)

Going on past experience I would imagine I will be up the duff within 2 months Having said that, I am 5 years older than last time.

We are gonna start trying for dc no 3 in December/January. At the moment not not ttc iykwim but not ttc proper till December. Would love a September Baby, obviously that means getting caught, and it sticking first month of trying. Can not but try though.

You sound like you catch easy Bratnav... think you stand a good chance. Mosschops Hope you are planning a lovely quiet Christmas with lots of time for romantic moments with DP unless you can catch as easy as Bratnav...

unfortunately I am like bratnav (or at least have been the last two times) I can get pg if the wind is blowing in the right direction . Did you catch quick with your other two?

Yes I get pregnant very easy too. I caught in first month when not trying with 1st, and in 1st month of trying with 2nd...
Looks like we are all pretty much hopeful then. Though I do feel that much older now, though dc 2 is still only 6 months and still bf one or two feeds a day. AF has returned, but not on regular cycle yet. Will go completely to formula however is this month AF is out of sync...

I dont have any at the moment with the mirena in so am wondering what cycle will be like when it returns. My GP tells me that fertility returns to normal straight away.

I don't have any AF either, haven't done for 18 months since being on the mini pill which has suited me fine until now. I have to say that I hope I catch quickly just so I don't have horrid AFs. We aren't in a huge rush as DDs and DSDs are 6,5 and 4.11, so there will be a lrage age gap anyway. Last time I had a 15 month gap, that was v hard work.

Does anyone else feel slightly odd if they have 'shagging' sex as opposed to 'lovemaking' when TTC or is it just me? Love them both btw

Im kind of in a bit of a rush, had 8 years between dd and ds, so we will not have a 4 year gap between ds and next one, so dont want to leave it any longer.

I know what you mean about the sex thing, although I know Im going to become all Monica from friends about it shouting at dh 'come on get ur clothes off Im ovulating' and the rest of the month he wont get a look in

When we were trying for dd (dc2) I was exactly the same. On the day I caught I was so busy with other stuff that during the actual dtd I was looking at my watch and got caught by dh... Lucky I caught really cos he wasn't impressed...

Dp would be most perturbed if I did that to him, I mean I AM Monica, but we usually have sex at least 3 times a week, so cutting his rations would NOT be appreciated.

at 3 times a week, better not show dh this thread, he's lucky if its 3 times a month

bratnav I'm not sure about early symptoms that can't be confused with af apart from missing af, oh and feeling really tired, that one always gets me.
