aww sorry to hear polkadot ! yeah, sometimes you just get one of those fluke cycles. hopefully af turns up for you soon so you can move on to the next one!

kittycatcat · 27/05/2009 23:05

Crumbs polkadot i am on cd36 and thats tormenting me so i can imagine how you feel! Have you been to the docs?x

Dalrymps · 27/05/2009 23:09

It can be possible polka but if you're unsure you could check with the doc as kitty suggests. I've heard sometimes ovulation can be altered by stress and therefore cycle length.

Dalrymps · 28/05/2009 08:24

Hey ladies,

CD27 here. Af due sat/sun. Felt quite naseuous this morning for a breif few minutes but feel better now have had breakfast. Is probably nothing and just me looking inti things too much. Fongers crossed though.

kittycatcat · 28/05/2009 08:48

kittycatcat · 28/05/2009 10:04

I wonder if it's the pill saying toodles at last dalrymps? Me no like tho. Is messing with my head! Do i test again tomorrow or leave alone.
I am ttc dc1 aswell Jashook

PolkaDotRachel · 28/05/2009 10:12

Welcome Jas

Not sure about seeing the doctor - seem to be forever in there with DS (I like to think I am not a "worry-er" but it would seem I am!) and as this is the first time I have tracked my cycle I'm not exactly armed with much evidence.

Kittycatcat - At least we are in the same boat!

Just want AF to come so I can get on with next month!!! Pretty much given up on being pregnant this month now

Ah well have DS's 1st birthday party on Saturday so should be grateful for what I have!!!!!

kittycatcat · 29/05/2009 08:00

Morning all

Gorgeous day out.

Thought AF had arrived full throttle yesterday afternoon but just a bit of brown.... same this morning. Will have to see if comes today. Have all the signs.

How is everyone?

Dalrymps · 29/05/2009 16:01

Hey kitty, sorry AF seems to have got you at last, although at least you know where you are now and can start ttc again soon

I've just spent all today thinking 'I hope i'm pg, please don't let Af get me!'. Not due till tomorrow/sun though... Have felt a little naseous today after lunch again.

I have had a headache today though and sometimes I get one the day before . So for that reason I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm getting tired of being dissapointed every month now, it just has to happen soon!

kittycatcat · 29/05/2009 16:15

oh fingers crossed dalrymps i hope the bitch witch doesn't get you! x

Dalrymps · 29/05/2009 16:22

Thanks kitty I hope so too!

kittycatcat · 29/05/2009 16:25

After my umpteenth trip to the loo i think i can safely assume she has got me. Is a little bit of red now too (soz for tmi). damn it. Oh well on the plus side i guess it shows the pill is on it's way out!

Biccy · 29/05/2009 20:06

Hello all. Sorry Kitty, I'm sure you must have been really hoping whatever weirdness was going on was something to do with being pg... maybe you could try OPKs (if you haven't already) so you can see if/when you're ov'ing... then you might be forewarned if it's going to be another long cycle?

Go my fingers crossed for you Dalrymps. Well done for not testing... I'm ever in awe of the non-testers out there!

Any news Polkadot? Have you just come off the pill, or recently stopped BF - or still BF? This is obviously not normal for you? If none of the above, and still no AF , and still no BFP maybe you could psych yourself up to a doctor trip...

How are you doing Viv?

Well done for making the trip home bringonthetrumpets... look forward to hearing how your 2ww goes! A friend of mine's sister is moving to Minnesota this week (she's got a baby and is due in a month's time with #2). Small world after all.

Hello Jashook - how long have you been trying?

Golly, lots of people to catch up with now - what a great thread!

Personally, I'm feeling fine, but I'm not worried at this stage as I didn't start to feel grotty until about 7 weeks with dd. Had a bit of a moment today when I saw someone I haven't see for a while and she was suddenly very obviously pg... she's due 2 days after my October baby was, and, despite having my own new little bean hopefully settling in, I was still hit by a wave of sadness at seeing what I 'should' be.

Dalrymps · 29/05/2009 21:47

Well, Looks like we're in the same boat Kitty cause AF just got me too

Oh well, here's to the 7th month... I just wish I knew when it was going to happen, or if infact. Maybe I was naive but I never imagined it would even take this long, ds was concived without even trying!

Hey Biccy, sounds lie you're doing well. Must have been strange to see your friend and her being at the 'stage' you would have been at. I think it's only natural to have a bit of a wobble over that, I know I would have.

I'm sure your little bean is nice and snug and cosy . You're right not to worry about feeling 'fine', My sil never had any ms at all . From what I remember mine only lasted about 2 and a half weeks. I freaked when it went away but everything was fine

Well, i've consoled myself with pizza, chips and a mars ice cream.

bringonthetrumpets · 30/05/2009 02:56

so sorry dairymps ! I was seriously rooting for you! Yes, pizza, chips and ice cream are definitely reserved for these sorts of things. Don't forget the wine/beer/whiskey as well!

That must have been hard Biccy seeing your friend. This little bean of yours is growing with all its might and will be that big before you know it. Glad to hear no adverse effects so far... hopefully they're only mild, if any. Although if you're like I was, you're happy to have symptoms just to remind you that you're still pregnant. That is so weird that your friend is moving to MN, btw. Of all places! Do you know where exactly in Minnesota?

Sorry you've gotten af kittycatcat But on the upside, once it's over you can focus on the next month!

Hope your dc's 1st birthday is fun polkadot! Is there a theme with lots of other 1 year old baby friends? Hopefully your af will show up soon. I hate that waiting in the limbo stage!

No signs as of now in my 2ww. But as I type that I just got a pang of a headache. I thought I was imagining some cramps earlier today... but probably was just that-imagining them. I think I'm already looking too hard. I hope I don't become all neurotic by the end of next week!

Biccy · 30/05/2009 17:45

Aw, sorry Dalrymps... I have a vague memory the average length of time taken to conceive is 8 months - it's just hard when it happened easily the first time, I was just the same, and had really psyched myself first time round for it to take ages. hrmph. [hug]

Bringon, I think it's Minnesota? Fingers crossed for you, that would really bring it all together for you if this was your month.

Spoke too soon about feeling fine - have been feeling nauseous almost all day... still, it's not that bad, and in a way I'm quite pleased to have some signs! I'm also really bloated, and reckon I look pg already , so hope that settles down!

Righto, better get the dog out to the park!

Dalrymps · 30/05/2009 22:43

Hey bringonthetrumpets, hope the 2ww is going well. Thanks for the sympathies

Biccy, ah that's interesting thanks. Was just looking on some american website that came up when I googled and it said 75% of people will concieve within 9 months. Well, month 7 coming up so here'r hoping!

Sorry you've had nausea, but glad you've had it too for reassurance purposes

JasHook · 31/05/2009 11:07

Biccy somewhat delayed thanks for the welcome. Only just started trying this month!

PolkaDotRachel · 31/05/2009 15:14

HELLO EVERYONE!

Sorry for being a bit quiet... had son's birthday party yesterday and the godparents stayed the night so only just got rid of them!

STILL NO AF! Given up on it so much that I even wore white trousers to the bday party !

Dalry - sorry AF got you - here's to next month though! Now you know where you are...

Jas -hope you're enjoying your 1st month fingers crossed for you!!

Biccy - no pill and no BF! In fact no reason at all for AF not to be here apart from the obvious and several BFN's seem to have ruled that out. Maybe the doc is the only answer. CD must be in the 40's now... Hope you are feeling alright still?

Bringonthetrumpets - the theme was "jungle" and there were lots of other babies around his age and a few 2/3/4 yr old siblings of said babies etc. T'was a lovely day thanks to the weather. Kind of went all out as I love "party planning" if you know what I mean. Would like to think I won't do this every year but I probably will .

Hopefully a baby shower will be next....?!!

kittycatcat · 01/06/2009 10:57

Hello everyone. I went to CD37 this month. Deffo gonna temp and use OV sticks this time. Started too last nonth but was quite busy so not always home at the same time.

bringonthetrumpets · 02/06/2009 16:29
