Over here ladies, and a big Wagon welcome to any newbies!

I'll post the list in a minute too....

Hi bringon... can't blame you for testing, but as you say, it is too early really, but you're not bonkers because I am proof that you can get a BFP 7 days before AF is due; and if you're anything like me doing the test will have somehow relieved some of the tension and you'll be able to get through the next few days a bit easier.

Polkadot, your party sounds great! It was dd's birthday on Sunday and we had a little party too - Charlie and Lola decorated table, couple of games, party food. It was a really lovely day... and then she was up 5.15 on Monday 'to play with my new toys'. least she like them I suppose! Have you made an appt to see the doc yet? Maybe it's just your cycle settling down - it's only been 12 months since you gave birth, not that long really.

First day back at work today after my two weeks off (which was 19 days, as I only do 2 days a week); had forgotten how hard it is to focus when you are feeling all sicky, and dry mouthed, and generally like you had two too many last night. I suppose I might have to admit I'm pg and go and find an antenatal thread.... but I feel at home here and don't really want to go...

Hope you're all okay and feeling positive in the sunny weather.

Dalrymps · 02/06/2009 22:56

Hi bringon - Like Biccy says, I don't blame you for testing, I would probably have done the same. I have no patience and hate not knowing! Hope when it is time to test again you get a BFP!

Biccy - I sympathise with trying to work and feeling sick, I remember it all too well. One thing that really helped me was chilled sparkling water, although different things seem to help different people. I couldn't get out of the habbit anyway, I still drink it all day long! Only 13p a 2 ltr bottle at somerfield!

bringonthetrumpets · 04/06/2009 01:19

aw thanks biccy and dairymps i felt so stupid for doing it! but glad to know i'm not alone only a week left until af is due... hoping i can hold off that long!

sorry you're not feeling well at work biccy. it's so tough to focus when you're not feeling well, not to mention the fact that you're allllways thinking about the little babe. Sparkling water really helped me as well, plus I really had a thing for warm chicken broth for some reason. Hope that you can find your magic cure soon!

PolkaDotRachel · 04/06/2009 09:58

AF finally arrived last night so am now back to day 1

Was beginning to get a bit worried!!!

Hope everyone is ok this morning - sunshine has gone here - grey clouds are looming!

Dalrymps · 04/06/2009 12:08

Ah glad to hear you're back in the game polka, that was a long one!

You gonna use opk's this time?

PolkaDotRachel · 04/06/2009 14:34

Yes I am... think I was too late last month so will start testing earlier this time!

My best friend called at lunchtime to say she's preggers (only a few weeks)! We had our first babies within a month of each other so fingers crossed this is my month to keep the tradition going!

Lucky cow !!!

kittycatcat · 04/06/2009 14:37

polkadot hurrah at last )))

Hi all. hope you are all ok x

Biccy · 07/06/2009 09:12

Hi guys, you are all very quiet at the moment... hope you are all ok?

Polkadot, glad AF arrived finally for you - it must have been doing your head in. Good luck with the OPKs, hope they can help you work out what's going on.

kittycatcat · 07/06/2009 11:46

Hiya

How is everyone? I am ok ta. My scan results are back and show nothing which is good. I had a normal AF for 3 dqays then it turned to spotting til about Thursday. Wierd. i am taking it as a positive sign - that my body is changing. It's only been 5 months since i came off the pill.

Dalrymps · 07/06/2009 20:55

Hi kitty, glad scan results were ok and that your body seems to be getting back to normal.

We're on CD 10 I think here. Supposed to be bding tonight but i'm tired and had a bit of an argument with dh so not sure if it'll happen...

bringonthetrumpets · 08/06/2009 03:04

Ugh, I hate when fighting gets in the way of bd, dairymps !! Hopefully you two were able to patch it up

Good news kittycatcat. It definitely takes a while for your bod to regulate itself after the pill. I was on the pill for 5 years at one point and it took a good 6 months for me to be able to reliably track my cycles again. Hopefully your cycles from here on out will be more regular for you!

Glad af finally showed for you polkadot !! Now on to the good stuff! Let me know how the OPKs go, I'm definitely thinking of buying a bunch for the next cycle!

So, that brings me to... well me. I think af is due on Tuesday. At least, it's been two weeks on Tuesday since dh and I were last together and I think I was ovl'ing. I have absolutely no signs or symptoms out of the ordinary and I'm pretty convinced that I'm not preggers. Buuuut, good news is that dh is moving to the states to be with us on 27th June!!! Yayyy!! So very excited about that, even enough to be okay with this month not being our month.

How are you feeling Biccy ? Hope the symptoms are easing up a bit for you!

kittycatcat · 08/06/2009 08:47

Oh bringonthetrumpets that is amazing news. Very excited for you!

Dalrymps · 08/06/2009 09:26

Hi bringon, Yeah we made up but it was too late to BD oh well, maybe tonight instead!

Great to hear you have a date for your dh joining you! Hope you get a nice bfp surprise this month but if not i'm sure you'll be able to do lots of bd once dh is there

Biccy · 08/06/2009 09:53

That's good news bringon, only a few weeks to wait!

Sorry about the tiff dalry - if it's any consolation we were bickering when we managed to conceive this one! Probably makes the sex better...

Am ok, sickness seems to have lessened in the mornings, but I now can't stay up at all after dd has gone to bed as I feel really rubbish later on. Really paranoid, don't want to feel yuk as I don't get anything done, but if I'm feeling ok I think 'oh no, what's going wrong?'.

PolkaDotRachel · 09/06/2009 10:18

kitty glad the scan results were positive!

bringon 27th June is a very good day - it's also my birthday! Bet you're counting down the days!!!

Dalry hope last night was the night!

Biccy hope the sickness is ok... I used to sip on some yummy apple and ginger fruit juice from Sainsbo's and really helped me...

My AF is almost gone... you'd think after such a long cycle it'd be really heavy but def not the case. Very odd. Oh well will start OPK-ing from day 10 so I don't miss ovulation this month! I really want to conceive this month so my DC2 will be same age as my best friend's! Sad I know!

My LO is having an extra session at nursery this morning so I have some time to myself

bringonthetrumpets · 10/06/2009 03:32

Just as I suspected, no babies for me this month. Hopefully I won't be ovulating before dh gets here!!

Biccy · 10/06/2009 10:19

Sorry bringon, even though you suspected, must still be disappointing. What day did you think you ov'd last month. Reunion sex is sure to do it though, no? (Remember to tell him to 'relieve' himself a few days before you see him! )

Dalrymps · 10/06/2009 11:43

Sorry to hear that bringon. Hope the reunion sex does it as biccy says. Fingers crossed for you!

Well, we're making a very poor effort this month. We decided to just relax about it for a bit so haven't BD at all yet .

Think i'm on CD13 today so will have to make an effort.

PDR · 10/06/2009 14:29

Agree that reunion sex should do the trick .

AF almost but not quite gone so me thinks we shall be able to crack on with the games tomorrow!

Currently have man in utility fixing washing machine broke last week so will be merrily putting on wash after wash all afternoon lol!

bringonthetrumpets · 10/06/2009 16:14

haha, yes, well reunion sex was how dc1 was brought into our lives so we can only hope the same for #2 i can't wait to see him again! i think i ovul'd around day 16 or 17, so i think we'll just make it!

i suppose it's the best way to go about it dalrymps. no stress is probably better. hop to it though! sounds like you're getting close.

glad to hear af is on her way out PDR. then it's time for the fun stuff!

hope everyone is well. af is absolutely wretched today

kittycatcat · 11/06/2009 10:10

Oh sorry bringon

so i am putting ttc on hold for a year. Even though DBF hasnt popped the question we have discussed getting married next June and have agreed to postpone ttc until then. I am not going back on the pill though.

Do you lovely ladies mind if i hang around even though not trying as i would love to hear how you are all doing?

PDR · 11/06/2009 12:41

Hi kitty ... of course we don't mind!

One of my close friends did exactly what you are doing - she and boyfriend postponed TTC after about a year of trying and went to work abroad....

Guess what? Their baby is due in August

Kayzr · 11/06/2009 12:43

Hello,

I am very tempted to join you as we might be TTc DC3 in September. But it isn't set it stone yet!!

I was on the first ttc wagon thread and I had the first wagon baby who is now 6 months old!!

I did find that last time we ttc earlier because I spent all day talking about it!!

So excited!!

kittycatcat · 11/06/2009 12:55

Congratulations Kayzr

Kayzr · 11/06/2009 13:31

Thanks. Is it still really addictive in here??
