Over here ladies, and a big Wagon welcome to any newbies!

I'll post the list in a minute too....

Thanks for the welcome back, LTE!

We will def get a GOF in either side of the weekend . My cycle seems to have really settled again into regular 30/31 day cycle, whcih means OV on CD17. We have been using Preseed, but hasn't worked for me.... yet! I was using OV sticks, but not last cycle as was in the middle of major stress with work. Will be using again this month (although prob won't take them on the hen weekend as sharing with people I don't know very well and they might wonder what I was using the yoghurt pot for!!)

GruffaloSoldier · 28/10/2008 21:59

Oh sorry La Tour I think I might have made a bit of a cock up there! There was someone who used to post on here and I miss her so much I think I might have accidentally posted to her instead of you - sorry

GruffaloSoldier · 28/10/2008 21:59

can i blame it one pregnancy brain

LaTourEiffel · 29/10/2008 08:41

Tis cool GS, I was only teasing! Kay had no clue who I was so I've been dropping massive hints all over the place, and for BB too. I wasn't being stalked, but realised I was very easy to find.

You can def. blame it on pg brain - I still blame my scattiness on pg brain and I had ds nearly 2 yrs ago!!! Actually, have I mentioned trying mumomega? Its really good for pregnancy brain if you really are suffering - my MW suggested it and it had a big impact in about 2-3 days after starting it. I probably still ought to take it as I've become a right dizzy old mare.

AF has arrived this morning, its good to know that I'm reading all my signs right. With my hospital appt. being on the 12th of Nov I'll be on CD15 then (if I've added it up right ) so, in the unlikely event that says its OK to get pregnant, I could possibly catch next cycle (as I have 30+ day cycles) but think that's being very optimistic. I can't see really see myself being pg by the due date.

This AF is very painful, and in an unusual way too, normally its all achey but today its a very sharp pain, like a needle going through me on one side - hope all is OK down there .

OP posts:
kookykid · 29/10/2008 09:45

La Tour, I hope AF settles down for you. But as you say, it's good that the usual signs were there. Hope pain subsides.
Although I am still gutted each month when AF arrives, it is no longer a horrible surprise as know my sympotms so well now!

We are off to London shortly - will have to go slow as SO icy! Computer syas it's -1 at the moment. Bbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Diege · 29/10/2008 10:16

Hello! Good to see the thread up and running again - I still feel that this thread is my spiritual home .
Latour - my first few afs after mc were very different to usual. First one extremely heavy and painful, the next still painful and just 'different'. Glad you're able to focus on the future - it is really tough I know. Here's to consultant giving you all clear on 12th
BB, good lukc for monday testing! Will look out for wagon HONK..dizziness was an early sign for me .
KOOKY, glad your cycle seems to have settled down - that's good news. Be safe on your London trip!xx

Claire236 · 29/10/2008 13:00

Thanks La Tour. I love reflexogy so is good to have an excuse, although have moved & don't know any reflexologists round here.

Pre-seed? Am confused & imagination is getting away from me. Can someone please explain.

ds asked me this morning if we could go to the shop & get him a baby brother. If only it was that simple. Led to interesting conversation where at one point I told ds that someone who works at his nursery & is pg would be getting a big belly because there's a baby growing in there & he said she'd already got a big belly. Really hoping he doesn't go to nursery & tell her that.

BBeingpatient · 29/10/2008 19:21

hey all

thanks for your well wishes, if cycle is 28 days then due on mon so will prob test thurs or fri

ive been ditxy today to the extremem can i blame pg brain too?!?!?

LaTourEiffel · 29/10/2008 20:30

Evening all, I've been busy at work today so haven't been able to get on till now..

Claire, pre-seed is a lubricant that is sperm friendly, mostly it is used by women who don't have as much EWCM as we used to. In my twenties I had gallons of the stuff but not so much now. I ordered it from access diagnostics and as I've registered as a member of a ttc group, I get a discount. It used to be 5% but I've been upgraded and now can get 6.5%! You put 'thankyou' in the voucher code when you check out. Its quite expensive but if you read around you'll find quite a lot of women swear by it. It beats real egg white anyway .

LOL at your DS - my DS is coming up to two and only just beginning to form 3 word sentences (I'm proud ) so at least I don't have to worry about those sort of comments just yet!

BB - I agree with the others, you sound utterly pg to me, which I normally hold back on saying, but I have a very good feeling .

Diege, I know what you mean about spiritual home, I just feel that its wherever you lot are as you've all been with me through so much this year

Ahem...as you can see I'm having a very emotional AF this month so if I gush with love, please excuse, normal service is sure to resume shortly!

DS has 'fancy dress' at nursery tomorrow and I am a bad mummy and haven't really sorted him anything - we went to Asda tonight in a desperate bid to find something and the only thing they had was this black outfit with glow in the dark bones on that would have been far too big and consequently looked quite naff. So, he's got a Disney T-Shirt, with Tigger and Piglet at Halloween on it - bit naff but there we go. He is only a baby still .

Since reading about the reflexology for you, I've been considering it for myself as a stress reliever - I also don't know any, but just 'googled' reflexologists in X, where I live, and got quite a few come up.

Anyway, best scoot off as dinner is about ready!

Thanks for the info La Tour.

My ds will be 4 in March & is a constant source of amusement. He decided this morning he was a dragon because of the smoke coming out of his mouth. Hadn't got the heart to explain to him that it's just because it's cold.

LaTourEiffel · 30/10/2008 08:46

Claire that is sooooo cute!

Hi memoo, diving straight in is absolutely the etiquette here - what you wrote makes perfect sense, sorry about your EP . As you can see, there's a few of us in a similar situation - I had a mc in August after 6 months of trying, and am now having to wait to ttc again due to gallstones, so feeling a bit rubbish to be honest.

HELLO everyone!

LaTour swung the wagon by and picked me up As I used to post here quite a bit but then couldn't see for all the dust the super-quick pace of the wagon was kicking up! That is to say - I couldn't keep up!

LaTour I admit I was scratching my head as to who you were exactly. But now I know! So sorry to hear about your mc

LOL about the "real eggwhite" comment - remember that convo!?!?!

BB We'll definitely be keeping an eye on you - sounds VERY good! Oh, and do they show Jon & Kate Plus 8 here!? I've only seen it when visiting the US. That's a mad mad show! Must be nice to have half your life paid for!

Ses!!!!!!!!!!! Your little one is beeeee-yooooo-teeeee-fulllllll! Congratulations! Come drop by and visit the tempers! {{hugs}}

Hello to the "newbies" - although I think I'm the newbie here! For anyone who's interested - we're TTC #1 since a mc in March Just had some testing done, all fine with my bloods, but DH's SA came back with poor morph. Got him on a supplement cocktail and hoping for the best!

Oh, and I'm afraid I have to change my stats as, unfortunately, I'm now a year older

LaTourEiffel · 30/10/2008 13:11

Hi Ho LBOT! Its slowed down a bit now all the preggers bunch have moved into the ante-natal wagon, its nice to stick my head in to keep my eye on them, but its a bit easier to keep up with where people are in the ttc stakes now!

I'm a bit down at the moment, keep bursting into tears, I'm on my second AF post mc and think the hormones are running a bit rampant

OP posts:
cantwaitforxmas · 30/10/2008 15:14

I can completely sympathise on the rampant hormone front LaTour. AF arrived this morning and even thought we are not ttc for a couple of months yet I feel really blue .

I should be pleased really. I stopped taking the pill a month ago after being on it for about 13 years and I was worried cycle might either stop or be really erratic but AF has arrived exactly 28 days after I took last pill/first day of withdrawal bleed. Hope thats a good sign that ttc will be straightforward .

Hope you feel better this afternoon - your appointment is coming up soon then you ca get back to lots of reckless GOFing .

LaTourEiffel · 30/10/2008 16:45

Thanks CWFX - but I really don't think the appt. is actually going to change anything - there's a part of me that is hoping that he will say...

'oh, stuff and nonsense, what's there to worry about - go ahead and get pregnant, if you have any problems we'll fix them'

when in actual fact he'll say ...

'no, you can't possibly get pg yet and you'll have to have the op first, join the queue, it should be done in 4-6 months',

at which point I will breakdown.

But hey, at least I have a good idea of what to expect .

Decided no more pregnancy tests until I'm due to go back to the drs in another 4 weeks time. Feels like a sensible simple plan at the moment as I'm full of cottage pie, ds has been a total sweetheart since he got home from nursery & dh is in a distinctly good mood. Chances of maintaining current status for more than a few hours are probably zero but am enjoying it whilst it lasts.

Hopefully you won't have wait too long before you can start ttc La Tour.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 30/10/2008 18:25

Hello all!
Just checking up on the ttc-ers and it's great to see all the chat.

LBOT - good to "see" you Have been lurking on temping thread but will post an update at some point. I'm v pleased with my bean too

LaTour - sorry for hormones and fingers crossed for your appointment.

Good to see the newbies on the list
Sorry - on phone and can't remember anything else I was going to say

kookykid · 30/10/2008 21:17

Hi all,

Hope everyone's OK. I am loving seeing people down here, but feeling like DD and I are a bit of a burden staying with my little brother and his girlfriend.

Weather is freezing!

Claire, your DS sounds adorable. My DD (19months) said her 1st sentence a couple of days ago. It was, "Sit down, Mummy!" Funny litle thing!

LaTour, I'm sure your DS looked v sweet in his T-shirt. I am going to try and squeeze DD into her fairy outfit from last year's Halloween party. (Cheapskate, moi?)

LBOT good to 'see you' - I was thinkng about you the other day and remember that egg-white conversation! Hee hee!

GYo · 31/10/2008 08:28

Hello LBOT
Great to see you back on here. Glad you got some tests done now- must be good to understand whats going on. Whats a poor morph (if you dont mind me asking?

Morning everyone else

lastboxoftampons · 31/10/2008 10:49

Hi everyone Thanks for the warm re-welcome! (even if it is tainted with memories of egg whites )

Hi KK Are you trying to fit your 19 month old daughter into her cosutme from a year ago? When she was only 7 months? How's that going? It is freezing here in London! Bundle up! It's usually not that cold here at all!

Claire hope your blissful night continued!

LTE I'm sorry you're feeling so crap A mc is so hard. Please take care of your self {{hugs}}

GYo · 31/10/2008 11:05

Hi LBot
thanks for the explanation- not heard of that before.

Hope the supplement cocktail goes well.
