Over here ladies, and a big Wagon welcome to any newbies!

I'll post the list in a minute too....

Hmm, it's a difficult one then if it isn't linked. Guess it might just resolve itself...

I know, maybe if he can, ahem, follow through on the outside then you can go with the turkey baster approach?

Have you tried maybe different positions or stuff like that?

Maybe it could be to do with his diet? That doesn't really explain why he can 'do it' under certain circumstances though?...

I'm not much used really am I!

kittycatcat · 04/03/2009 11:52

Actually funny you should mention the baster. If tmi doesn't apply......so i got him very excited the other week and at the last minute he did what he should where he should. Shame it has to be like that though. I think you may be right. It may mean i have to do all the work though if you get me hehe.

Dalrymps · 04/03/2009 12:54

Yeah, thats true, maybe you can demand a little something for yourself first then move on to the business! If getting him really excited works maybe you could think of more ways to do that, for eg, dressing up or something. My suggestions are getting sillier by the minute lol

kittycatcat · 04/03/2009 14:03

Lol, is true though! hehe

Claire236 · 04/03/2009 18:40

Sadly I can't lie to my dr about how long we've been trying as I came off the pill due to problems with my periods so it's on my records. I've got a 4 year old (as of yesterday) who we conceived within a week of coming off the pill & I've been pregnant once since then which was a complete accident as I was on the pill at the time. Maybe will go & see dr as it can't hurt.

Biccy - it had crossed my mind that I could have had a chemical pregnancy but having been really heavy yesterday I've now got hardly anything so I doubt it was.

Kittycatcat - must make ttc a bit on the difficult side, no advice for you I'm afraid.

Dalrymps · 09/03/2009 08:53

Cliare - Sorry about that, hope the doc offers some help anyway if you do go to seem them.

I'm on CD 25 today, due my AF on thurs/fri. Am crossing all my fingers and toes I have concieved but haven't got any blindingly obvious symptoms yet . I've had occasionally slightly tender breasts but not like when I was pg last time. I felt a bit sick yesterday evening and this morning but that goes away when I eat so may have just been hunger

I'm trying to send 'AF stay away' vibes to my body...

kittycatcat · 09/03/2009 14:09

Hiya
dalrymps i will cross (almost) everything for you ;) x

Dalrymps · 09/03/2009 14:40

Thanks kittycatcat

Claire236 · 09/03/2009 17:39

Dalrymps - sending you additional 'AF stay away' vibes.

Currently distracted from ttc as ds has come down with chicken pox & it looks like I'm going the same way in spite of having had it twice already. I thought you could only get chicken pox once.

Dalrymps · 09/03/2009 18:58

Cliare - Thanks . I thought you could only get chicken pox once too?!

mixedmamameansbusiness · 09/03/2009 20:14

hi all

can i join please.

not TTC yet, but hoping to start around sept/oct time. will read up so i know whats going on.

already have two boys a 3 and 1 year old.

Dalrymps · 09/03/2009 22:21

Hi mmmb, hope it's ok to call you that? Welcome

We have quiet days and busy days so add us to your 'threads i'm watchin' by clicking on 'watch' at the top and you'll see when there's new posts.

Two boys eh, thats nice. I have one boy who's 16 months. Are you hoping for another boy or a girl? I don't mind which I get...

mixedmamameansbusiness · 10/03/2009 10:19

Tbveryh we would like a little girl, but would be happy to have another boy. Feel a little scared of having a girl tbh.

Cant start TTC until Septish as I would like to go back to studying next year and will be doing evening classes but would like having a baby to coincide with this.

I concieved fairly quickly both times so am hoping that this time will be much the same, altho I know it might not.

Dalrymps · 10/03/2009 10:41

I think if i'd had 2 boys and was on to the third there might be a part of me that would wish for a girl, I plan to have 3.

How quickly did you concieve the last 2 times? With ds one we didn't even try , he was a happy surprise. This is our 3rd month ttc this time and i'm starting to get impatient already

mixedmamameansbusiness · 10/03/2009 10:46

They were both sort of half planned. DS1 we were careless a few times (sort of knowingly careless) and DS2 we had been planning but were going to wait a few more months so didnt really actively TTC either time so am hoping we follow suit.

We agreed on 3 DC before we started so I feel like I need to have a 3rd baby as otherwise I will always wonder if I might have had a girl, but having 3 boys feels good too as my two are already very protective when DH and I mess about they come and rescue me and I love it.

I will have a moment of disapointment i think but i know that will fade immediately. I had a 10 second moment with DS2 wwhen we had our scan but by the time i walked out the room I was over it and just excited about my second little boy.

Dalrymps · 10/03/2009 10:51

I kinda liked the idea of ds being a girl as he would have been the first girl in the family for a while. However, as soon as they told me he was a boy at the scan I couldn't imagine it any other way

I'll keep my fingers crossed it happens quickly for you when you go for it

My AF is due about thurs/fri so i'm dreading it , not convinced we've been successful this month even though we did it a lot !

mixedmamameansbusiness · 10/03/2009 13:46

Haha about the doing it alot. We are both so klnackered atm that when the time comes we might actually have to make an effort

Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

We have never "tried" really so am looking forward to actually trying and planning.seems a long way off atm tho.but that is ok, as I want to avoid double pushchairs this time and so DS2 will need to be at least 2.5-3. Plus for the first time since getting married i have been losing weight and still have a stone to go so want to get there first so that hopefulyl i dont overindulge too much this pregnancy.

Dalrymps · 10/03/2009 13:55

Well we definately had to make an effort believe me! I wanted to lose weight before ttc too but just gave up in the end and decided i'll try again after the baby

mixedmamameansbusiness · 10/03/2009 14:59

i was the same in between ds1 and ds2 decided to tackle it all after - did mean that i was a little greedy during my second pregnancy tho.

Dalrymps · 10/03/2009 15:13

, hope I can control myself then if I do get pg, i'm greedy enough now as it is!

Dalrymps · 11/03/2009 10:55

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I'm on CD27 now, I feel like i'm on an emotional rollercoaster in my head, I hate hate hate waiting to see if AF will show up! I just want to know either way!
Felt a little bit sick this morning but i'm trying very hard to ignore all possible symptoms so I don't get my hopes up...

SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 11/03/2009 11:03

Hi all! Graduate sneaking back to wish you all well and welcome the newbies.

It will happen for you - I had an awful year last year with ttc and miscarriages but am now 31 weeks pg! I found this thread so supportive and helpful and I hope you all do too!
