The worst thing about ttc has got to be how every little symptom takes on new significance. Fingers crossed for you CWFX.

cantwaitforxmas · 19/12/2008 11:23

Thanks Claire236, I know what you mean. I think maybe I am just trying to convince myself I don't have a nasty bug (plus I am bored at work with nothing else to think about). I have too much planned this weekend to be ill. I feel much better now after some tea and a biscuit so I'll just try to forget about it.

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 22/12/2008 13:12

Cantwait - I too have been feeling nauseous on and off throughout the day for the past few days. I had 'the bug' last week so can't be that. I am wondering if I am reading in to it too much though . Don't want to get excited then be dissapointed. I'm not due af till 27th dec so it must be far too early, surely?!

Heebeejeebee · 23/12/2008 13:56

Hi all

Just thought I'd pop in to say hello and can I join? Was on the ante-natal thread, but had 2nd m/c at the end of November. AF arrived last weekend (bit odd because I was sure I got a +ve pregnancy test 2 days before, but it was a cheapie) so I feel like things are moving on.

We're def trying again in the New Year, but I have a follow up appointment on 12th with my consultant who is going to send me for some blood tests. I was on Clomid, but was just about to start tamoxifen when I got my bfp, so will start that on next AF.

Got fingers (not legs) crossed for us all!

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 24/12/2008 10:32

Hey Heebeejeebee, welcome!
Sorry for your losses, I hope this time it all goes smoothly for you get your bfp

It's a bit quieter on here than it used to be but we all still keep popping in.

kookykid · 24/12/2008 11:15

Hi all!

Sorry have been AWOL - been ridiculously busy. So, Happy Christmas! Hope you have a lovely time over the next few days.

Am on CD30 and had a BFN yesterday so intend to get completely sloshed!!

Hi Heebs, I rememebr you - so sorry for your m/cs. Lets all hope 2009 is the year we all have our BFPs and LOs!

Claire236 · 24/12/2008 13:27

Hello Heebeejeebee

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas followed by lots of new year BFPs.

kookykid · 27/12/2008 17:39

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

Have some news.... Got my BFP this morning! Am feeling very cautious after last month, but fingers crossed this one's a keeper.

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 28/12/2008 00:20

Kookykid - Wow! Congratualtions!!! keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you it's a keeper!

I'm on CD 29 (27th dec) and AF was due today but not started yet. Am hoping it won't but not really feeling pg so trying to not get my hopes up too much. Had some pink tinged cm a few days ago so wondering if that was implantation related or if it just means af is on it's way... probably the latter

sazzlelou · 28/12/2008 13:02

Hi all.
Havent posted for a while, hope you all had a great christmas.

No success for me yet, so another month of trying awaits
AF seems to be getting earlier and earlier each month

Hope everyone is well

Claire236 · 28/12/2008 13:36

Congratulations kookykid

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 28/12/2008 21:14

Hey everyone,

CD30 here, did a test this morning as i'm impatient, it was negative

My af turned up just before too so back to ttc I guess...

beetlesbugsandbutterflies · 03/01/2009 17:20

Hi everyone hope you had a good Christmas, I have had a BFP, now 7 weeks pregnant, don't know why it took me so long to post!!! feeling very sick... but otherwise OK.

onlyanauntie · 03/01/2009 18:16

10dpo.....felt very nauseous all day today, and completely wiped out. Also, the smell of my St Tropez made me wanna hurl, and I use the stuff very day so I should be used to its nasty odour!
Having VERY vivid dreams too.
AF due 10th Jan....it's a long way til

Claire236 · 03/01/2009 18:28

My AF is due on 10 Jan too onlyanauntie. Well I say it's due then but I'm going on my last cycle as it's the only one I've had since I came off the pill about 5 months ago. This ttc stuff is depressing

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 05/01/2009 12:12

Hey everyone!

Happy new year!

Beetles - Congratulations Hope your sickness passes quickly and doesn't bother you too much. So happy for you

Only and claire - Good luck for 10th Jan, finger and toes (but not legs) crossed for you both.

I am on CD 9 here, haven't had chance for a gof since af as have been staying with friends in a very squeaky bed! Better get goffing I think!

Hi to everyone I haven't mentioned

Off to change back to my normal name as xmas is over for another year...

Dalrymps · 05/01/2009 12:15

Ah thats better

deanychip · 05/01/2009 12:19

we are back on it.....its been 18 months of trying now...with no success. Going to leave it till March i think then go to Docs.

Dalrymps · 05/01/2009 14:28

Deanychip - So sorry to hear that, can't imagine how dispondent you must feel after trying for so long. Hope it happens for you soon.

LaTourEiffel · 06/01/2009 12:49

Hi everyone, I'm finally properly back after the christmas break. AF is just tiptoeing out the back door, its been another longish one this month. Soon we should be able to start ttc yay!!!!

Had bad news about my nan last night, looks like she's not going to hold on for much longer, the macmillan nurse told mum she should be looking at days and weeks, not months now so going to be going home again this weekend to spend as much time with my nan, grandad and parents as possible. Its just so hard... I read some posts on the bereavement board and found that really helpful.

Deanychip, welcome to the wagon and sorry you've been trying so long - have you not seen your doctor yet? Its normal to go after 12 months i thought, do you have any known pre-existing conditions (PCOS, Endo etc)?

Dalyrmps, lovely to see you here, it seems to have been quite a while since you were last about.

Isn't it great news for LBOT and now Kooky, I am very but in a good way .

Hi everyone else...

Claire236 · 08/01/2009 14:47

Welcome back LaTour. Sorry about your nan, mine is ill & it's made me realize I need to spend as much time with her as possible. Difficult as we live in Germany admittedly.

Driving myself insane symptom spotting in spite of trying not to. Was about to list my poss pg signs but going to keep quiet & carry on telling myself I'm not pg in the hope I'll get a lovely surprise. Going to see if I can bribe ds into giving me a big hug when I pick him up from nursery as I'm in need of it today.

BBeingpatient · 10/01/2009 14:02

hi all
sorry for absense had so much going on in real and feeling quite depressed.

still ttc, been referred to a consultant gynae, which is ok i guess... just makes me feel down, i want a baby soo soo much. anyway im sure u can all sympathise. im feeling quite nervous about what might be said about me being overweight too..

ah its all getting me down

Heebeejeebee · 16/01/2009 09:08

Blimey its been quiet on the wagon!

LaTour - sorry to hear about your nan - I lost my dad 13 months ago and it is just such a dreadful time.

BB - have you got an appointment yet to see the consultant? Def see it as a really positive step - it has helped me stay sane after 2 m/cs and 18 months ttc.

Well I'm just waiting for AF to arrive then I can start TTC again. I got pregnant last time on Clomid, but the consultant is swapping me to tamoxifen due to a thin uterine lining. I'm not starting that straight away as they are running recurrent m/c tests, so I guess I'll start that again on my next cycle

Dalrymps · 17/01/2009 16:21

Hey everyone,

LaTour - So sorry to hear about your nan, hope she's comfortable and has the people around who care about her.

Claire - Fingers crossed you are pg!

BB - I really hope you get that bfp soon. I can understand how it might feel disheartening to have to see the gynae but at least it may mean you get pg quicker than you might have if they can give some clues as to what is gong on...

Heebee - Good luck with the ttcing this month, it's such a complicated business isn't it?!

Well, i'm a bit confused today. My cycle is usually 28/29 days the least it has ever been is 26 days and that only happened the once.

I'm on day 21 today and noticed ealier today when I went to the toilet that i'd had a little bleed. I'm not sure what to think about that. Went back to the toilet a short while later and no more blood but cm was a bit streaky itkwim.

If i'm optomistic I suppose it could be an implantation bleed but isn't it too early for that? If i'm more realistic it might be my af starting very early? Anyone have any ideas? Haven't checked again since...

Heebeejeebee · 17/01/2009 17:42

Oooh - that does sound intriguing. When did you ov? It could indeed be implantation.. are you going to test?

TTC is like a military operation in this house!!!
