Over here ladies, and a big Wagon welcome to any newbies!

I'll post the list in a minute too....

Heebee - No idea when I ovulated, was just going with the trying to do it every other day and managed 2 nights in a row at one point. Not temping or anything though.

Was going to wait till af due to test, that's 25th Jan, don't think i'd get a pos this early anyway....

Dalrymps · 18/01/2009 12:12

On the subject of my little 'bleed', it has gotten heavier to I think it's just my af, 8 days early .

Feeling a bit sad about ttc, we're not going to try next month as I don't want the baby born too close to, or even on Dylans 2nd birthday (my dates work out that i'd be due 24th oct, his birthday is 30th). So i'm gonna have to wait what seems like aaaaages till we can try again. Oh well, suppose it all happens for a reason.

moosma · 18/01/2009 13:58

Hello all! Anybody remember me? I see a few names I recognise, but not many I'm well and truely off the wagon now and Goffing aplenty here, hope you're all well here, what have I missed?

Claire236 · 18/01/2009 16:20

Well my AF arrived bang on time which I got myself in a bit of a state about. Cried my eyes out for quite a while. dh was out & I stupidly waited for him to come home even though I knew he would be drunk so I then ended up getting upset with him once he finally staggered through the door. Oddly I feel quite positive at the moment & have managed to shift some of my focus from ttc.

Sorry Dalrymps. How long did it take you to get pregnant with Dylan?

Dalrymps · 18/01/2009 20:26

Claire - Sorry your af arrived, it's so bloody annoying and it takes a while to get yourself back to that positive place doesn't it?!

We weren't realy trying with Dylan, we were thinking about ttc and hadn't made a decision yet. We were being a little less careful than usual but still using the 'withdrawal' method.

Anyway, fell pregnant without even trying so stupidly assumed it'd happen first shot this time. It's only been 2 months of 'proper' trying though so think I should stop moaning really.

Heebeejeebee · 18/01/2009 21:03

Evening all. Well AF has arrived for me too, though for once I'm happy as it means things are back to normal after the m/c.

Claire - sorry af arrived. I think once it starts you feel upset, but then the optimism of 'maybe this month' kicks in.

Dalrymps - hope things move as quickly once you start ttc again..

Moosma - I recognise your name!

moosma · 18/01/2009 22:46

Thanks heebee, I'm glad someone half remembers me! Are any of the oldies still here? Geordie? Cal? BB?

kittycatcat · 19/01/2009 11:04

Hi. I am new to mumsnet and have been reading your thread. I feel like i know you all now and hope you dont mind me joining you? I am only just coming off the pill (on my period now - sorry don't know all the abbreviations yet ;-)), more to give it a chance to get out of my system as i am 33 and been on it since i was 15.

Dalrymps · 19/01/2009 11:41

Hi kittycatcat, welcome to mumsnet and this thread. Good luck ttcing, this thread can be quiet at times but keep it in your 'threads i'm watching' and you'll see we keep popping in . You add it to the 'threads i'm watching' by clicking 'watch' at the top of this page.

I'm just on my af now so we might have similar cycles (af stands for aunty flo, ther's a list of abbreviations at the top too)

deanychip · 19/01/2009 11:47

ok, i put some effort in.

did a bit of reading up and we acted on my new found knowledge.

Not feeling at all pregnant, not feeling at all like my last 4 pregnancies (3 mcs x1 baby).

Feel like my af is coming to get me any minute.....

due today.
did test BFP,
did anothr test BFN.

going to test again tomorrow but feel like my af is going to come between now and then.

How odd our bodies are.

kittycatcat · 19/01/2009 12:03

Thanks Dalrymps will do that

Fingers crossed for deanychip

Heebeejeebee · 19/01/2009 12:30

Hi kittycatcat - welcome ! I'm also on AF, so there's a hattrick of us!

deanychip - there's still hope! Did you use the same fmu for both tests? Fingers crossed for you - keep us posted

Claire236 · 19/01/2009 14:54

Hello kittycatcat

deanychip - I was convinced AF was about to arrive before I discovered I was pg with ds so you never know

dalrymps - I know exactly how you feel. I found out I was pg with ds 2 weeks after coming off the pill. Assumed it would take ages that time. This time round assumed it would happen quickly & it took 3 months before I even had a period after coming off the pill.

LaTourEiffel · 21/01/2009 16:08

Hi guys, not having the best time at the mo and not the best month to start ttc again it seems... see here

However, before that all kicked off, DH and I managed to get a couple of GOF's in around two days before EWCM and on the day of EWCM so there is the slimmest of glimmers of a possibility!

Just wanted to say I'm still reading, lurking etc, just not up to much else at the moment - don't forget about me though

OP posts:
moosma · 21/01/2009 17:41

LaTour, is that you Mrs H?

Dalrymps · 21/01/2009 21:57

LaTour - So sorry to hear what you are going through. Not surprised you can't concentrate on much else at the moment. Hope things go as smoothly as they can for you and your family... Here's hoping the GOF's worked

Heebeejeebee · 22/01/2009 08:40

Hi all

Latour - forget about you?! Never. I heard about your nan - I'm so sorry. My dad died 13 months ago after a long illness and there aren't the words to describe how horrible it is. Got everything crossed for you for the GOFs

kittycatcat · 22/01/2009 09:04

LaTour sorry to hear your sad news Fingers crossed for some good news for you!

LaTourEiffel · 22/01/2009 09:59

Hi guys, she's still here, defying everyone, nobody can put an estimate on it anymore because they all thought she'd pass away on Monday morning.

Moosma - yes, it is! Not been on FB for a while, lots of people from work lurking and I'm starting to get a bit paranoid, have been quite caught up with stuff.

6 months ttc, followed by MC, followed by a small operation, followed by this, has meant that I've been quite insular of late. In all of this, work is not going very well either, I have a very demanding boss and she looks down on the fact that I'm not giving 100% at the moment.

OP posts:
moosma · 22/01/2009 10:14

Oh LaTour, you poor thing, you've had a shitty time. I hope that everything settles down for you soon and you can get back to normal and concentrate on the things you want to concentrate on.

moosma · 23/01/2009 17:00

Hellooooooo? [echo, echo, echooo]

LaTour, hope you're ok, sorry to read about your nan

Deanychip, did you test again? Was it a BFP?

Having said I'm not going to obsess, I'm now couting the days till I can test. My cycles are always a bit erratic, I vary from 35-44 days, and my LP seems to be only about 10 days. I'm now on CD30 and expecting AF on CD35 I think, eeeeeek I'm excited!

Hope all are well, do we have list going on who's doing what when?

Heebeejeebee · 23/01/2009 20:57

Evening!

LaTour - hope you're doing ok

Moosma - I've got everything (apart from my legs) crossed for you. AF has just finished, so gearing myself up for a week of GOFing

I had a look at the list earlier in the thread but it looks a little out of date, so I'll start a new one!
