Hello all,
Oooh Crunchy, I've got everything crossed for you hun!! One of our ladies on the other thread was on month 10 of TTC number 3 and got a BFP last week, we were all so thrilled. Now wanting the same for you!!
Summer, they do all look very different don't they, are you going to put a pic on your profile of your little one. In a few months we can all start guessing on the gender of your little one. It's amazing when you compare the 12 week pics with the 21 week pics aswell. Both of mine were very clear (apparently it helps if you're slim and all my weight seems to be hips and bum at the moment!!) but the 12 week one, even though she looks like a baby, is quite skeletal. But I think in this one she looks like a proper baby!! After all the worry at the beginning I can't believe how much in love with her I am when I look at the pics and feel her moving. I just hope it stays like that... My best friend was like that and then when her little girl was born, she didn't bond with her at all and neither did her husband. It took a good year for them to even really like her. Now she's their world (she's just turned 6) but it was really hard for them for a long time.
MAF, thanks hun. I can't wait to read all about the experiences that you're going to have over the next few months - I'm wanting time to move a bit faster for you!!
Hever, how is your little bubba doing hun? Things all moving along nicely? I've been googling average sizes for 21w foetuses today and our little girl is exactly where she should be (give or take 1-2 mm) so I'm really chuffed with that. She was never going to be a big baby as DH isn't that tall and my sister had two very small babies. But as long as she's got all her bits and they're all in the right place, I can cope with a small one!!
Linwin, how are you doing hun? When is it you're planning to start TTC again? Can't be too long now!!
Hello to everyone else!!
DH and I are off for a nice expensive meal tonight. My boss dropped me an email to say that as a thank you for all my hard work recently, I should take DH out for a meal up to the value of £100 and expense it. Well, as much as we have some gorgeous restaurants down in Torbay, it's difficult to spend £100 on two of us when one of us can't drink!! So we've picked "The Orange Tree" which won restaurant of the year for the South West last year and decided that we'll choose a bottle of Sancerre (our favourite white wine...) and ask to take it home and have it after our little girl is born!! So we're really looking forward to that!!
Other than that, I'm looking for Moses Baskets and Baby Bouncers today. We ordered our pram/pushchair/car seat in the week and had it delivered to Mum's house so we're off over there to check it over aswell to make sure it's all Ok. Then it'll stay there until just before our little one is born. Then the week after next we're off to IKEA to buy the nursery furniture all of which will be built and put in the nursery, other than the cot which will stay at Mum's. I know it sounds like we're doing it all really early, but DH has to start a really intensive home study course for Electrical Engineering which will take him to right when the baby's due, so we want to get it all done now so he can concentrate.
Gosh, ever get the feeling that your waffling? Sorry ladies!!
I hope you all have a really lovely day and I'll be back on line later on.
