That'll teach me to get my hopes up. Period pain started today. AF will be tomorrow or Saturday. Right on time. Here we go again with cycle 4.

Linwin · 05/11/2008 18:55

MichaelaS I went to the doctor today and he referred me for blood tests for a few things, hormones, thyroid etc but he said he thinks it will come back in its own time. What the hell use is that when you're TTC!!

MichaelaS · 05/11/2008 19:10

Oh dear linwin, thats what mine said too. I had thyroid and other general blood tests last year after being very tired for no reason.

I have a general checkup every year as a benefit I buy through work, and I discussed the whole tiredness thing with the doctor then. She said if it's not showing on usual blood tests (thyroid / anaemia being the top two reasons) then it could be a touch of PCOS and basically it was my body's way of saying it's time to get on with having a baby! I was not TTC at the time but I don't think that was very helpful really. Oh well, presumably because I am sometimes regular I'm likely to be fertile some of the time?

makingafamily · 05/11/2008 20:01

Welcome Girlwithacurl Linwin and MichaelaS Good Luck with your tests, saw my GP today too and have been re referred for tests as last time wasnt told to go on certain CD's and mentioned it to her today and she apologised. Referral for the fertility clinic should be going through too

Fairy i am worse than you i'm afraid. Started testing yesterday and am three tests down with 3 BFN's. What is wrong with me?? I'm a women obssessed and thinking about issuing legal proceedings against First Response for emotional abuse!!!! Had funny cramping on Monday and a bit again this evening, feel very tearful and bit DP's head off last night so am expecting AF tomorrow. Looks like we'll be on cycle 4 together

MichaelaS · 06/11/2008 17:50

Hi all, well I have that familiar cramping again so it's back to CD1 I'm afraid.

Actually, I'm quite pleased because my cycle is back again (today was CD39 of usual 29 day cycle), its better than being in limbo.

Went to Boots yesterday and bought some ov sticks and a digital thermometer - i'm getting scientific about it now!!

makingafamily · 07/11/2008 13:14

Hey ladies. Where is everyone? AF turned up yesterday. The boys cooked us a lovely dinner and had a few glasses of wine too :-) So its CD 2 Cycle 4 here

heverhoney1 · 07/11/2008 18:57

Hey all.

Michaela and MAF sorry to hear about the evil witch - Take solace in drinking copious amounts of wine and eating loads of brie an whippy ice-cream!!!!! While you still can. Then think of me - sitting here on a Friday night feeling guilty that I really want a can of coke!!!!

BubbaP · 08/11/2008 15:10

Hi girls!

Well, it's been a tough month since I was last on MN, but I've come back to join you!

Today is the first day of my first AF since I found out about the MC. If someone's updating the list, my details are:

CD1, Cycle 2 (MC Oct 08)
I'm not sure what # cycle to say, but as I conceived on cycle 1 and then had an MC, I'm counting this as cycle 2.

I was off work sick for a fortnight after the MC, but have been back in work for 3 weeks now. I feel fine physically, and have surprised myself how well I'm coping emotionally. 2 of my friends have had babies in the time since my MC - both had girls, and I've even been OK when I heard their news... so onward & upward for us!

I've missed posting on here, but I have been keeping myself up-to-date with all the goss!

Questions congrats on your BFP ? hope PG is going well.

Michaela and MAF ? sorry about your AFs arriving, but at least the 3 of us can be cycle buddies!

Wildfig sorry about your AF arriving and that you?re feeling down...But glad you?re enjoying your puppy.

Linwin sorry there?s no sign of your AF.

Wishin good luck with OVing.

Vix sorry to hear your AF arrived. But at least you can look forward to BDing on hols!

Fairwing sorry you?re having painful AF.

Thandeka welcome back to TTCing

To all those with little beans who have had their first scans...Flirty, Hever, Saz, Dawn ....I was thrilled to hear all is well with you

AND last but not least! Summerbird good luck for your scan this week ? I?ll be thinking of you.

big hugs and baby dust to all***

summerbird · 12/11/2008 11:39

Blimey i had a right scare last night, i had a bleed which terrified me. I rang my MIL and mother who told me not to panic and ring the midwife in the morning, which i did. She was lovely and told me to rest today and only go to the GP if i get any more or have any pain. Thankfully it was only a one off as far as i can see.

Its such a shame as it took the shine off yesterdays events, but maybe it was the summerbean telling me i need to slow down, i was running around like a blue assed fly yesterday.

So i am off work today browsing facebook and watching crap tv.

Hope everyone is ok, who is next to test then?

Hi strangers!! I'm sorry I went AWOL but I was feeling like a bit of a pregnant lady stalker as I never have anything to report lol. Have missed you girls though and am really pleased for all you pregnant ladies! Summer- it does sound like you need to slow down!

So, I do have some news 1) I bought a horse which is really helping to destress me (it was lovely riding Saturday-I felt very stress free!) and 2) I think my periods are back!Woohoo! LOL

By think I mean it's been two days now but very light. I have had cramps and awful PMT though. I burst into tears the other day and didn't k ow why then the day after there is spotting! I know it's not too eventful really but I feel like my body is trying for me now so I am happier.

Hope all is well with everyone xx crunchy xx

heverhoney1 · 12/11/2008 22:27

woo hoo on both counts crunchy we missed you!!

Summer glad you saw your little bean. Am sure the bleed was jusr a sign to slow down.

HUGS to all xxxxxxxxxxxx

summerbird · 13/11/2008 10:04

Hello all,
Good luck to all TTCers this month and all ladies with Beans, slow down- Sounds hectic!

Am on day 13 now so hopefully ovulating soon, having a massage tonight and accupunture tommorrow so hopefully this will all help! The lack of booze is killing me though!

crunchynutter · 15/11/2008 11:31

ok does two days of very light spotting count as a period? Hmm let's wait again then

heverhoney1 · 15/11/2008 17:07

YES crunchy it does!! Look at it this way hon - OK you are not back to "Normal" but it IS progress and it is a good sign your body is heading back into full swing XXXXXXXXX
