fairywing · 31/10/2008 15:57

Hi again ladies
Dawn - great news for you

Well i am one week into my 2WW now. Im knackered and very emotional but i guess that could be just PMT. The only other thing i've noticed is that normally after i have ov'd my nipples become very sensitive and uncomfortable. This month they aren't. Perhaps i'm reading too much into things. AF would be due some time between the 7th and the 9th so sometime next weekend.

Hey Ladies
makin and fairy I'm with ya on the 2 week wait.
Oh how cruel it is. Can't science come up with a test we can do the moment conception takes place..Geeze LOL!!
I had cramping last night. Not very painful, but crampy twinges, not due for AF for about 2 weeks, and I NEVER get cramps that early, I'm 6-7 DPO. And hoping upon hope it's something to do with implantation, however, another cruel trick is clomid mimics alot of the symptoms of pregnancy.....so, I'm not jumping to any conclusions!!
Just keeping everything crossed for all of us.
Happy Halloween to all.
Loads of fairy and baby dust

this morning on a 10 sensitivity one too. Its just mad, I'm usually really regular but tests cant be wrong either. Going to see the doctors on tues morning.

DawnoftheDead · 02/11/2008 14:17

MichaelaS, don't give up hun. Tests can most definitely be wrong!! You can very definitely get false negatives. I know peopel on this site that didn't get +ives until 6 weeks pregnant!! I hope that it sorts itself out soon for you!!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Any more testers?!

I've just cooked a roast turkey for lunch and it smelt just like Xmas in our kitchen. We're cooking Xmas dinner for my parents and brother and girlfriend this year, so our lunch today put me in the mood for writing out my Xmas Food Shopping List. We also bought all our Xmas cards yesterday. We're due to move house at the end of November and if I don't buy things now, I may not remember to get them when we've moved.

Hi again ladies, trying really hard to resist testing. I've had my blod donors letter for next Wednesday so i definitely need to know before i go there!! I am due any time from thursday really but most likely Saturday. Was sat reading the packet of one of the tests i have in the bathroom but managed to put it back and resist by thinking about how i will feel about another negative test. Had a horrific migraine for most of the day yesterday and am just generally feeling very tired and emotional at the moment but that could be PMT. My boods have also started to hurt now which is also normal for me. So i don't know and i really don't want to get my hopes up.

makingafamily · 03/11/2008 09:35

Morning Ladies.

Keep me sane please as i'm gettin that testin urge. Fairy me and you are both due about the same time so here's to a big eat pair of BFP's I'm thinkin about askin DP to hide all the tests (i have lots!) or even better get the boys to take them to theirs. ARGH......

wildfig · 03/11/2008 09:55

Fingers crossed & baby dust for everyone testing this week. This is my ov week, but not really in the mood, what with work and house worries! Still, DH is off to New York soon - capital of fertility luck! - so who knows...

Fairywing and MAF resist testing early - you know it's the work of the devil!!

I have my first scan today - I'm both excited and also nervous....well actually I'm bricking it to be honest At least I should find out this afternoon whether I've imagined the whole thing!! I've been told I have to go with a full bladder (do they know how hard that is actually going to be???) I just hope my appointment is on time as I don't know how I will cope without being able to pee for an hour and a half

I went to see Bond on Friday night, DH took me as he knows I love him - I really enjoyed it, the story was a little weak compared to the last one, but really, who cares when Mr Craig runs about with his top off

Anyways ladies, I hope you are all well and enjoying this Monday as much as you can!! I go away a week tomorrow - whoo-hoo!!!

fairywing · 03/11/2008 10:29

MAF we must be strong together Lets hope this is our month!!

saz007 · 03/11/2008 16:01

Back from my scan now and there is indeed a little guy (maybe girl) in there!!!! I was soooooooo happy to see it that I almost cried, even looking at the pics now is nearly seeting me off!

It was jumping about all over the place - which was a relief. I got to see the heart beating but didnt hear it as I'm not sure that's offered where I live. Asked for 3 pics, paid my £6 and got 5 as it was posing better as the scan went on. And for once I could actually see that there is a baby on the pics, usually I can only see a blurry mess!

The CRL measured 6.1cm, which has put me a bit further on than I thought so my EDD has changed by 5 days so I've updated the list.

Hi my dears,

Sorry I've been incommunicado for so long but just been getting to grips with the new job.

Dawn and the other girls who've had their lovely scans, great news that all beans doing well.

Still no AF for me, its gone missing in the Bermuda triangle. I'm going to visit my rude GP tomorrow to see if he can throw any light on the situation but I'm not holding out much hope. I will update you tomorrow with his "pearls of wisdom"

On positive note, I go to Australia on Thursday....! so a bit of good weather should cheer me up!

Plus I've calculated that I only need to wait until Feb to start TTC again before I will be eligible for full mat benefits!

Hopefully those of you who haven't already, will have graduated long before then!

xxxxxxxxxx

fairywing · 05/11/2008 07:17

Well MAF i hope you are being stronger than i am with the testing. After falling asleep again on the sofa by 9.30 last night and boobs being increasingly tender i stupidly tested with a cheapie this morning. I dont even think i am due til Saturday. Test says it will work from day of your missed period. Hmm so possibly to early but possibly not the month for me.

summerbird · 05/11/2008 08:52

fairy i am secretly keeping everything crossed for you! but step away from the tests until the weekend! - they are the devils work. Also you can get a positive negative.

Thandeka · 05/11/2008 10:09

Hello,
I went away for a bit as I was dr wouldn't let me TTC last month due to an unexplained pain in ovary/fallopian tube, following a scan they think it is a small cyst but we can ttc again this month so I am back on:
Fingers crossed!

Hi, I am new to this, but wanted some support and advice. We have been TTC for about 8 months, and had a MC 3 months ago. Loads of my friends (and other acquantances) seem to be getting PG at the drop of a hat, on their honeymoon etc. and I am starting to get really down about it. I know I have to be patient and try not to get stressed, but I just don't know how to!
so, although obviously I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone, it is good to know that there are other people going through the same thing, and hopefully we will all get a BFP soon (I am struggling with the acronymns so be paitent!)

MichaelaS · 05/11/2008 14:06

Hello girlwithacurl and welcome! hope you get a BFP soon, and sorry to hear about your MC.

Linwin I think your AF and mine are off in the bermuda triangle together. My doctor was sympathetic but not helpful. He said come back if I miss a second period otherwise just wait.

My current theory is that I have one of those post-ovulation ovarian cyst things that usually self-resolve but throw you out. Self diagnosis using the internet is a great thing though - might be completely wrong.
