Hi guys - we've had May and June, so may July be third thread lucky. I am a July baby myself. All welcome.

OP posts:
JLo2 · 22/10/2008 08:03

Day 31 for me today (I have cycles between 26 and 31 days long) Couldn't resist the urge to test this morning, even though I'd promised myself I'd wait until tomorrow as I had had a BFN on Friday. I went slightly mad and used my all singing all dancing freebie Clearblue and....BFP
If all goes well, my EDD will be June 29th so feel a bit of a fraud on the July thread , but think I'll stay here now as I might go overdue!!

JLo2 · 22/10/2008 08:04

This definitely seems to be a lucky thread. Fingers and toes crossed for everyone else.

lillypumpkinpie · 22/10/2008 08:09

Oh what lovely news to wake up to

CONGRATULATIONS!! XX

HomeintheSun · 22/10/2008 08:26

Well done JLo2 and Mr JLo2 of course, thst's great news, a good start to the day long may the BFP's continue. Has the news sunk in yet? I love all these BFP's makes me smile every time I read one.

Waiting2Exhale · 22/10/2008 08:42

Oh JLo2 amazing news to wake up to. I remember you from the June thread and am soooo very happy for you. Wicked.... All the best over the next 9mths.

mickeylou · 22/10/2008 08:54

congratualtions JLo2!! thats brilliant news. i'm still hoping to join you on that BFP list but all the while trying not to be too hopeful. no sign of af yet at day 30. had BFN yesterday morning so trying to stay away from the chemist across the road from work today!!

Waiting2Exhale · 22/10/2008 09:08

OMG just took a test also and at 13DPO BFP....OMG

smallone · 22/10/2008 09:10

Congratulations! Wow thats a lot of BFP's isn't it?! Well done everyone x

On a bit of a downer at the mo. I'm having allergy tests at the moment for possible food intolerance and went to a consultant last week who wants to repeat some tests that my GP did originally. My GP (who is fantastic) said he wanted to test for something incredibly rare, it was highly unlikely but if it turned out to be this and he didn't test, I'd have to string him up. So the test came back fine. Now since seeing Consultant, shes said one test is not enough to rule it out and I need to do at least three. And what are they testing for . . . . .Cancer.

I know its very rare but there is a little voice in the back of my head saying "what if it is?" Most of the time I'm holding it together but occasionally I'm just breaking down. I'm only 29 and I have a 21month old.

Anyway, sorry to put a downer on this very lucky thread, but I'm finding it hard to concentrate on ttc and I'm wondering if I'm going to be in the mood for BDing this weekend. If the tests are positive I def want to get pregnant asap, this particular tumour is very slow growing so I'd want another baby before any treatment. AGH

smallone · 22/10/2008 09:11

BTW I think everyone on this thread should go and test NOW just in case

yellowflowers · 22/10/2008 09:22

great news wishing and Jlo2 - wooohooooo.

Don't worry too much smallone - hard to say I know but it's not catching these things which is the main problem and they're on the case for you.
xx

JLo2 · 22/10/2008 16:06

Thanks for the congrats.

Don't give up yet Wishing, I had a BFN on Friday and felt dreadful on Saturday like AF was coming, but it never arrived

Funkybumps - Thanks for the link I'll join in your new thread when I'm feeling a bit more confident and it has all sunk in! Until then I'll lurk for a bit. It's definitely nice to see some familiar faces over there

spats · 22/10/2008 19:35

congrats to everyone with BFP, and to everyone else we have something to aspire to. Wishing still not over until af arrives - hang in there.smallone, i know what its like when a dr thinks you have something. I had a smear and the locum thought i had an abnormality on there and went through a week of waiting for gynae, only to be told it was just scar where i had lase 10 years ago and the locum had probably not seen an abnormal cervix before - thanks alot for the worry!! know you will be worrying anyway but try and not get to upight over it.virtual hugs x

woollyjo · 22/10/2008 20:34

Congrats on the BFPs ladies!

Day 28 tomorrow ... but can be a day or two late and I mced the last two (have a dd 22 months). I thought I could resist testing for a few more days, doesn't look likely at the moment.
