Congrats funkybumps!

Forget my previous posts, everyone get out those sticks and start peeing with gay abandon!

funkybumps · 20/10/2008 21:37

thanks so much girls for all your congratulations x can I stick around on this thread though cos can't wait to see all your BFPs over the coming weeks.

Keep thinking I must be dreaming and I'm having loads of AF cramps so am panicking that AF is going to start at any min.

There will be frequent knicker checking for a while yet, me thinks until it finally sinks in and I will settle a bit more after Saturday which was when AF was due.

Wishing · 20/10/2008 21:43

congrats funky bumps thats fab news - im so tempted to test now!! i hope your bfp rubs off on us all! i hope you have a very sticky bean!!

pandagirl03 · 20/10/2008 22:39

Hello girls, I have not been on this thread before but am a reg on mumsnet. I did a clearblue digital test this morning and it came back pregnant and said 1-2 weeks so according to that i am 3-4 weeks pregnant. This will be my 2nd child i already have a dd who is 3yrs old. Good luck to everyone else ttc.

ttcnumber3maybe · 20/10/2008 22:48

Hi all!!!
I've been watching this in a slightly addicted fashion over the last week or so (in my lovely two week wait!) and wondered if i could join in rather than sitting on the sidelines?
am new to all this... have 2 ds and both happened pretty quickly so had none of this waiting...
have had quite a few pg like symptoms this month and no sign of AF yet (and 2 BFNs) but as just came off pill have no idea on cycle really... here's hoping ... congrats to all with their BFPs and hope the luck rubs off on the rest of us! x

good morning! well as expected i couldnt resist the urge to test this morning and got a great big BFN for my trouble
boobs still sore but i guess i am really just waiting for af to show up now.

dh must think i am crazy as have been so convinced i was pregnant up until today.

on the up side my cycle will probably be back to normal next time so i will be able to say exactly which day af is due with none of this guess work!

Hows everyone else at the top of the list today??

yellowflowers · 21/10/2008 09:43

Hello,

My ex's girlfriend announced her pregnancy yesterday - we're still friends and I am pleased for them but still - aaaaaaargh.

Other than that trying not to prod my tits into tenderness. As in, they're fine now but if I prod them they hurt, but that could just be the prodding iyswim

oh im sorry to hear that yellow!! dont worry your time will come!! im the same as you keep prodding them and grabbing them all the time to see if they hurt or am i imanging it - they woke me up in the night when i turned are a quite heavy now and still produsing loads of CM but i still have that doubt cos i dont want to be gutted again this month if af comes!! i have some other symptoms and still ahve that good feeling inside so fingers crossed for me girlies!

hope everyone else doing well! loving the bfp that seem to be flooding in! dont give up till af shows mickylou! may not be enough hcg flying around your system yet! good luck xxxxxxxxxx

mickeylou · 21/10/2008 13:25

thanks wishing. i really hope this is your month!!

dh just said in a text from boring course "dont worry - it will happen". good advice for us all i think

ttcnumber3maybe · 21/10/2008 14:07

Hi there.... after a very long two week wait... unbelievably I got a very faint line on a pregnancy test this morning (VERY faint... but is an internet cheapier in case that's makes a difference?).... hope it's a certain BFP!!! ... will continue to check (of course! how many tests have i gone through over the past week !!! have just been so sure i was PG but then again thought i might be coming down with a cold!).... wish me luck and lots of luck to everyone else on the list in their TTW xxx

mickeylou · 21/10/2008 15:42

thats brilliant ttcnumber3 maybe! there seems to be a lot of BFPs on this thread. long may it continue!! xx

ttcnumber3maybe · 21/10/2008 15:54

thanks so much mickeylou... and best of luck to you too... have you got much longer to wait this month?
just done another test (am i mad?) and still shows a faint line... tho temp down a bit (is that normal???)
told my sister and she's been TTC#2 for around 2-3 years or so ... she was so sweet and genuinely over the moon... and i;m just shellshocked! really hope this month is as lucky for everyone x

mickeylou · 21/10/2008 16:48

i only had a very faintline the first time i tested with ds. i am pretty sure that its a positive no matter how faint. how old are your other little ones. i bet they will be excited when they find out!

i am a but confused this month. its only my first month of ttc and now 29 days since i last took pill. no af yet but had 2 BFN tests. DH keeps telling me to be patient but sadly that isnt one of my qualities!!

spats · 21/10/2008 16:58

congrats funkybumps. I am saving myself for the weekends BD ing. We are away for the weekend minus children and it is the right time which is great. I have drunk grapefruit juice, taken evening primrose oil and come off my antihistamines so am all prepared.

Wishing · 21/10/2008 19:13

congrats ttcnumber3!! it sounds very hopeful, a line is a line after all - when is af due?? are you testing again 2mora - fingers crossed you get a darker line!!

spats you are super prepared - bd you bottom off!! and good luck!

your suppoesd to me very fertile straight after cvoming off pill - i wish i had heard that 9 months ago when i came off it! so you never know no af is a positive!!

xxxx

ForcesSweetheart · 21/10/2008 19:41

Congrats ttcnumber3! There really do seem to be a lot of bfp's on this thread, hope it rubs off on me.
I'll be away for a few days when AF is due (tuesday/wednesday next week), but will post soon as I get home. Fingers crossed for more bfp's before then.

Wishing · 21/10/2008 20:31

hopefully your few days away will help timne pass a bit quicker forces and also take your mind off all the waiting!! fngers crossed af stays away and you come back with a bfp xxx

LittleCheese · 21/10/2008 21:19

congratulations all those with BFP, its all really exciting, AF is due tomorrow and i feel so nervous, im pretty sure that she is going to arrive though, im in a terrible mood. Im still keeping my fingers crossed for a bfp this month though

Wishing · 21/10/2008 21:35

im wishing she doesnt arrive for you little cheese - dont give up just yet!! im due in 2 days and im am really wishing for a bfp - still not tested!! im keep thinking one min i am and next im not!!
