New thread as requested (panic, panic) - hope the name will do?

OMG - Dawn I am so sorry to hear your news. ((hugs)). I am glad that you are having lots of cuddles with your dh, they are important. You say you are a glass half empty girl, but you are sounding very positive in your outlook at the moment. Keep your chin up as much as possible, but also grieve too.

We had a fab day in London - one very tired dd - we did the natural history museum, the science museum and the diana memorial playground - still didn't get a lie in this morning though

a very grey and damp day here so not much going on.

good luck to all those who are starting the bd fest xx

HumphreysCorner · 03/08/2008 16:38

Oh Heeby have you got a pic of the test you can post so we can have a look with you. {{hugs}}

Hi Bellie-us on the BDfest are wearing our other halves out. DH asked me what I was taking to be so eager.

Have stopped taking my multivitamins as noticed it said do not take if PG or planning on being PG. Also, someone on here mentioned not taking Ibuprofen and I overdose on it due to migraines so have put that away too.

ChocolateEclair · 03/08/2008 16:44

ooo sorry HC - I see your chart now! Looks good - ov has occurred! Are you feeling confident?

detox - yey! John Wayne here we come!

I have been feeling a bit nauseous this afternoon. (I'm happy really but feel bleugh! )

It's Whitby Regatta weekend so my tiny little town of 13,000 people will be swelled to 250,000 tomorrow! We did venture out breifly but had to walk as parking spaces are non-existent! It's the funfair tomorrow and the kids fancy dress parade - I guess I might have a child to dress up for next year!

HumphreysCorner · 03/08/2008 16:46

I tell you what ChocEclair, if it doesn't happen this month then there is nothing more I could do to get PG. We have overdosed on BDing-there are no troups left!

Welcome Heeby sorry to hear about your stressful time. This is a good place for sharing & support. xx

Bellie soulds like a fun packed day!

HC good on you for being eager! I asked GP about painkillers, supplements etc and she said since thalidomide no clinical drug trials has ever been made on PG women (fair enough!). So because the manufacturers can't say for sure it would be safe they have to verge on caution. Paracetamol however was tested before the thal. scandal and proven harmless, ie it's recommended over ibropufen that hasn't been tested (although she said it's probably fine too).

ChocolateEclair · 03/08/2008 16:50

heeby - sorry to hear your situation. It's very confusing. Any pictures for the mumsnet jury? I haven't heard of those tests sorry.

bellie - sounds like a wonderful day. Hope you aren't overdoing it! Have a restful day today

HC - I heard that ibuprofen is bad for the uterus lining (urgh!) Paracetamol is ok

Heebychick · 03/08/2008 16:55

Hi, I threw it away sadly as didn't want to keep looking at it. I am trying to put it out of my mind (but failing badly). If i list my dates here you can tell me what you (honestly) think as some think i'm mad and others think i am pregnant. Even my Dr says she would put money on me being PG. So here it is ....

May - MC at 5 weeks. 21 days later AF - V early but normal. (my Cycle is normally 32 days)

OV (i think) CD 13-16 (not 100%)
Bleed CD 25 (thought it was an early AF)
Very light and stops after a short while
CD 36 now (again - i think)

I have the following symptoms: Very tired, fall asleep at any oppotunity during the day, boobs grown and sore, queasy and dizzy, weeing every 30-45 mins.

Now i know i could be imagining all the above but if so i am concerned as to why i feel so terrible if i'm not PG.!!

WelliesAndPyjamas · 03/08/2008 17:06

Dr is convinced i'm PG so has said to go for a Blood test on Friday if still no Af and still have symptoms, so will do that.

I'm now convincing myself that i'm not PG and my period was early. Not sure what the symptoms are all about if this is the cse but hey they could mean anything!

Heebychick · 03/08/2008 17:22

Ps you have all been so supportive, thank you lovely ladies xx

DawnAS · 03/08/2008 18:26

Hi All,

Well, strangely, had a lovely nights sleep and awoke feeling really good (I think due to the worry finally being over). The good nights sleep might have been helped by the erotic dream about Shaun Slater from Eastenders (yes, I really did SHAUN SLATER?????), believe me ladies, he was good !! DH was mightily put out since I'm still bleeding (although only a little...) so poor Shaun was the only one that got any real fun out of it - lucky boy!!

Is it unusual to only bleed lightly for an MC? I'm really quite confused. There was light (but very fresh, bright red) bleeding on Friday evening but with a lot of pain, nothing through the night but still a lot of pain, more light but definitely there yesterday, then nothing through the night, a bit of brown this morning and then a bit more light red today. I only took 2 Ibuprofen this morning and haven't needed to take more. Maybe there was just very little there to begin with... Sorry for the TMI but I've only needed 2 sanitary towels, one for each day and neither have much on them. Although the Doc did say that he wouldn't expect much bleeding as I was so early. There was just a tiny 2mm amniotic sac on the scan. Something "strange" definitely came out in the bath yesterday, that I wouldn't normally see so maybe that was it.... Sorry again about TMI.

Thanks for the advice HC, I will take a test in a few days, although according to Doc the hormone levels had already dropped from 250 (Thursday) to 97 (I think..) yesterday so they seem to be dropping fairly quickly.

I've put away all the baby stuff that I bought for now and have cleared out the bathroom drawer so it has (in order of use...) OPKs, followed by Preseed, followed by PG tests. To be used in that order!!

Hope all your days are going Ok.

Can someone please remove me from the bonkers baby list, I haven't got the heart to do it...

xxx

Here you go, Dawn. It's amended. Was wondering whether I should offer but thought it would be better to wait until you mentioned it or did it yourself.

Infact-you can all feel the hugs hopefully. You can tell I feel upbeat at the moment but I most likely won't in the 2nd week of the 2WW.

Thanks HC, I needed that!!

Now DH and I are going to cuddle up on the sofa with some nibbles, a nice cuppa and "Flightplan". Never seen it but bought it in Sainsburys today for £6.99!!

ceebee74 · 03/08/2008 20:15

Evening all

Just settling down to watch Andy Murray - am very a tad disappointed that Nadal didn't get through though

Heeby - it definitely sounds like your symptoms are pg symptoms - I didn't get a BFP until CD38 so there is still time

Dawn - I love the sound of your dream A few more good night's sleep and you can jump back on the bandwagon.

HC - lol at you watching Em rippling your tummy - Josh did exactly the same and he is constantly on the move so maybe this little boy is going to be a nice and quiet one

Hi to everyone else - hope you are all enjoying what is left of the weekend.

Baby is moving more today so I feel ok (thankfully!) They are as frequent as they were but are less intense (if that makes sense ) - maybe he has just moved away from the front??

Heebychick · 03/08/2008 20:19

Thanks ceebee, that is very reassuring, how long is your cycle normally?

Did i hear that Nadal beat Fedderer recently again? Does that make him top boy now?!

ceebee74 · 03/08/2008 20:28

Heeby - my cycle varied for the 5 months it took to conceive this baby after coming off the pill - anything between 28-38 days. But I know on the cycle I conceived I ovulated on Cd21/22 (I also ovulated late the cycle I conceived DS) and had an implantation bleed on approx CD 31. Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

I don't think Nadal has beaten Federer since Wimbledon but other people have beaten Federer in the early stages of the tournaments so Nadal is now no 1 player

HumphreysCorner · 03/08/2008 20:31

Ah, Flightplan was on TV last week. Quite good-was on late at night and I never fell alseep so must have been alright. Enjoy!

Heebychick · 03/08/2008 20:44

Well done Nadal - even if you do have one small arm we still love you!

Flight plan - is that the one with Jodie Foster.

I have a good movie tip - Butterfly on a Wheel, excellent thriller film.

ceebee so glad your pregnancy is going well, i think my cycles are all over the place too, my bleed could of been an early light AF for all i know.... who knows, i'll test again in a few days.

I am sat here with quite sore boobs and very bloated. Hate feeling pg without actually being pg IYKWIM x
