Cloth is getting more popular I think, or maybe I am just noticing more as I totally plan on making it work? Just bought another 15 pre-loved bimbles today, they are adorable and I don't want to be washing everyday. With those 15 I will have a nice stash of 38 nappies (} and 16 wraps. Of the 38 nappies, 3 don't need wraps. Almost all are pre-loved and we have 12 differnt brands/kind of nappies to try, I guess it will be trial and error

I am so excited to see what flavour you have. Maybe with them being similar is is another boy, but I don't know why I am feeling girl for you. Although...you are carrying similar to me, all bump, not much weight gain elsewhere....maybe a boy! I'm not much help am I?!

As for my little fella, he is still namesless, the only name we have thought of is Zack (and I like either William or Thomas as a middle name), but naturally, the inlaws hate the name. It has made dh all the more determined to name him Zack, lol! Good thing we have 6 weeks after he is born as I can't see us settling on anything anytime soon. It is hard when it's your third of the same sex, lol!

I have to say, well done on getting this far and feeling good. I am definately feeling it this time around, this one is being much harder on me than my other 2, in terms of tiredness and heartburn, but I don't ache as much, I had backache much earlier with ds2. I can't believe your iron was still good at 28 weeks. Mine is always rubbish! I am taking spatone right now as can't handle the tablet supplements. I think I might get some floradix as well to help build me up. Can hardly believe it will soon be over for us, we're in the home stretch now!

Ohhh, diddydiapers are cute too, I have 4 of those. I had 3 bimbles, then came across a post on UKparents (not sure if I can mention them, but oh wel!) as they have a nappy sales board. I asked about the bimbles, was told that they were sold, so asked someone else for her 5 and then the sale for the 10 off the other lady fell through and I got second choice, lol! So I will have 18 bimbles! If you are short, let me know. I think they will be a great nappy for a new baby of any size. I don't have any fleece wraps though, will need to look around.

Heartmum2Jamie · 23/08/2008 22:19

Oh yes, we have 3 small packs of disposables too for those early days, trips out, night times until we can get to grips with everything. Hopefully dh won't find cloth too hard once he gets used to it.

There is soosy too-can't think of anyone else at the moment. Just looked at my OPK, it is negative so will see what tomorrow night's one looks like. Have dispatched some men last night for DH so he can build up fresh troups. CD9 here. Sure I will be the last to graduate.

Hi all,

Hope you're well and enjoying the bank hol w/e.

Belated happy birthday Willmouse, I hope you had a lovely time. Champers & choccies eh? I hope you got hold of some of the latter in the end.

Sorry to hear about AF getting you BSL. What to differently? NOTHING, you're doing ever so well, just keep going. But change one crucial thing: Your expectations. As our resident scientist CE says, even if conditions are perfect, you are both healthy and have done everything right, there's still just a 25% chance of conception. Perhaps you & DH can think to yourselves: 'If we're PG by new years eve, that would be great' rather than getting very upset that it doesn't happen immediately? xx

HC and BB you're back in the saddle and I salute you - go go go!

HM2J and MJIM glad to know there's vast nappy knowledge here.

Waves to everyone else. xx

My It's quiet on here this bank holiday weekend! Hope it's because everyone is enjoying the sunshine!

Just really wanted to say boo hoo to BSL - was really hoping you had done it as well. Please don't get too down about it. I think Mandy has it spot on. You don't need to change anything - we all saw your FF chart and it was perfect! Just do exactly the same again, and it probably will happen! Also remember each month is a fresh start and just because it didn't happen last month, doesn't mean it won't another. Chin up honey xx

Hope BB and HC are feeling OK for this month. Hugs to you both xxx

BSL so sorry, hon . You are completely doing everything right, as everyone has said - and I think a break to let your hair down is probably just what you need. xx

Feeling a bit fuzzy headed and nauseous this morning, so forgive me for the lack of individual attention, but waving madly to all the bonkers, and throwing you babydust for a month full of BFPs

daisyj · 25/08/2008 11:18

Doh, mush brain. For the second time in a week I have just left the cold water running in the bath - lucky the overflow works properly - it must have been running for at least 20 minutes. Feel unreasonably with myself. I was just looking forward to getting into a nice warm bath. Does it get worse...?

DawnAS · 25/08/2008 11:34

Hi All,

Sorry I've not been on for a few days, I hope all our babies are doing well and our beans too.

So pleased for CE , I was worried there reading the last few posts, but so happy when I saw your scan pics!!!

Sorry BSL that the witch got you - hopefully you'll banish her for at least 9 months by the time Halloween comes around!!

Still no change with me. Just over 3 weeks since MC and no sign of AF yet. Been BDing since the week after the MC when bleeding stopped, but still don't know how it normally works in relation to cycles. I guess everyone's different but I was only just 5 weeks PG so I would have expected to have AF by now. So hoping that she doesn't come.....

Anyway, nearly time to start looking for a house - exciting!! Seen some lovely ones in little villages near the sea down here near Torquay, so fingers crossed that we get one before they all sell. Trying to hold out though to see if they decide to have this "Stamp Duty" holiday because it will save us a fortune.

Hope everyone on 2ww or BDfest are Ok!!

xxx

Hi there,

I hope everyone's well. All OK here, just a faint feeling of cystitis so guzzling cranberry juice & will speak to MW tomorrow (I hear it's not brilliant to get it in PG).

Also, just to ask you more experienced ladies, what are Mothercare mat. clothes sizes like? I'm tempted to order a few things online but the dress I really fancy is only left in a 10 and I would normally need 10-12. Should I give up? Thanks!

Enjoy the rest of the day all. xx

Hi all

Had a great day going round Ty Mawr Country Park and Chirk Castle, a National Trust place and no rain!!!!

Got a feint red line on my OPK last night so sent some troups in. DH didn't want to wreck the caravan cushions so I had to lay on Bounty kitchen roll to catch the escapees. Round 2 tonight.

Mandy - hope it doesn't turn out to be cystitis - horrible horrible . Hopefully MW will sort you out. I meant to ask, how is your sickness?

HC - pmsl at the bounty kitchen roll. DP wanted to know why I was laughing so I had to tell him - sorry! . Sounds like you have had a fab time, and I'm sure the girls have loved it!

MJIM - did it stay dry for your bbq? Hope so!

I had a lovely weekend with the family, nice to catch up with them, and to have a piccie to show them so soon! Most of our friends and family know now so didn't manage to wait til 12 weeks!

I have less than a week to go til I go back to school - This holiday has gone soooooooo fast - with me spending most of it in bed or throwing up! lol! I guess I'll just have to get on with it when I go back!

Have a nice day xx

Sorry a couple of you pregnant ladies are feeling ill, there's nothing worse than not being able to take anything to make you feel better.

HC - I will never look at bounty in the same way again......

CE - at least you have stopped being sick ready to go back to school. I can't think of anything worse.

Hi to everyone else.

I had a fab weekend away, but have eaten and drunk far too much - I am not as restrained as HC on the 2ww - it also occured to me that I had an x-ray at the dentist last week . I am supposed to be having a filling on 1st Sept as well

Weather is pants again......off to tidy up after the weekend!
