Well, I'd like to start this thread by saying a BIG FAT CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has managed to get their BFP so far, and an equally huge dollop of luck to all those of us waiting for our BFP's!

Yes you need to wait at least 4 hours and not eat in those 4 hours because you need to build up the hormone again.... I think it is the salt in food that effects the test...

CP is where the egg fertilises but doesn't implant so you get a bfp but then AF arrives a couple of days later. You wouldn't know you had had one if you didn't test early iyswim.

Yes GYo, you need to wait 4 hours during day - that's why FMU recommended, as most people will have gone at least 4 hours since last peeing overnight - if you do, make the most of it, 'cos as you get heavily pregnant that goes out of the window!

I think with a CP the the egg fails to implant properly so dies. So you are very briefly pg (enough for a small amount od hcg to show in your urine and a faint pos to appear on a test) but by the time AF is due the egg has failed so your period comes. Most people never realise they have been pg, it tends to only be the early testers!! So I suppose if you are testing early always view the result if its faint with a bit of caution.

I have little girls alredy and hope for a third girl but of course would love a boy too so totally not fussed.

I have been broody all year and every monthr cry when I get my period which is silly because we were not ttc. Since last month we have relaxed and are just going to see what happens.

This month we did it twice either end of what I think would be my ovualtion time so I am not sure if I have imagined all these symtoms and delaying my period myself.

I did not realise about leaving gaps between wee's so I've basically wasted tests. I have been weeing so much, cant imagine waiting 3-4 hours.

I will make sure I use the first wee of the day and catch it in a pot

I will either wait til later when haven't been to toilet for four hours or I will sit on my hands and hide the tests and wait until the morning.

Yeah GYo, I wiuld wait for hours, it just increases chances so therefore best to wait iyswim.

i've just caught ds in the bathroom, weeing into a pot, and using one of the 2 hpt's i had left in his wee- he said he was seeing if he had a baby in his belly!!!!

So now i have 1 test left in the house and cant decide wether to test with it in the morning!!! its 6years that me and DH have been together tomorrow, and i'll be 11dpo, so if i got another bfn i wouldn't be any more down as saw it already today.... but if i got BFP then we'd be over the moon and have something extra-special to celebrate!!

i'd like to know that too

it can last for up to 24hrs and each day after looses some hgc i think.....

and babytime- i have 2dc's, ds is 3.7yo and dd is 2.3yo

No harm in testing if you want to Glask, you can always restock. Although you are speaking to someone who had tested 3 times this week already and is not even sure she is 14 dpo today !!

babytime It last 24 hours I think... I have one dd who is 15 months. I am due with this one on the 24th Feb. So for one month I will have two under 2. yay......

I have my fist scan tomorrow. I cant imagine there will be a lot to see (only 7 weeks and 5 days) but hope they find a heartbeat.......

Oh no - I've fallen over and crashed down on to the floor like a ton of bricks. The hospital are going to scan me tomorrow to check that everything is ok with the babies. I've really scared myself.
