dp doesnt know about all my visits to gp.i have that principle that if you really want something and you prepared to do anything for it, well then go for it.i soooo want a boy indeed.at least a sister for Kyla

Nikkichik · 02/02/2005 16:47

of finding out there is something wrong and not being able to deal with it!

Hulababy · 02/02/2005 16:47

Been thinking about when I should go to Drs too. I am only on month 6 of TTC this time round, but as with DD it took 15 months, an early mc, and then another 15 months of trying...I just don't want to keep hanging on and on waiting if I think there is anything more positive I could be doing. But not sure when to go and whether they will take me serious or not.

Nether my mum or MIL had problems with conception at all, so no help there! Don't think they can really understand where I am coming from TBH so not really talk about it at all. DH isn;t so keen on going to Drs himself either. He is much more a "see what nature dictates.." kind of person, and I am so naturally impatient anyway!

Nikkichik · 02/02/2005 16:49

Me too Hula, my dh keeps saying 'it will happen when it happens' but it's not him it's supposed to be happening to!

munnzieb · 02/02/2005 16:51

my mum was trying for a yr with both me and DB, MIL - well not sure about her really (it's not something I've asked! lol, apparentlt thou my nan had trouble with her second child, but after that the other 4 were just the 'wink of an eye' so she recons!

DH will be home for good in 8 weeks, and I can't wait! apparently he' got 3 weeks in sept to go away for, (knowing his unit that means 9 days!) My anems is just an odd one I cmae up with, where does urs stem from?

cockenzie · 02/02/2005 16:51

dp is the same 'it will happen when it happens'. but i am to impatient to just wait and see. i need to do somethingabout it.So ladies, we all are in the same boat!!

cockenzie · 02/02/2005 16:53

my name is from the fishing village we were staying at.but i am thinking of changing to the nickname that i have and we have nicknamed our pc too.but how do you change your name?

munnzieb · 02/02/2005 16:53

lol, well i'd rather just know and get it out the way so I knwo what it is we're trying to fight, if anything. iycwim. DH thinks it's my problems (as i'm obv not gettin PG) so I should do all the appt etc... his mum had a go at him and he agreed to come to the dr's and sit in the witing room (he doen's like the idea of another man lookin at my girlie bits!) lol.

munnzieb · 02/02/2005 16:54

your menmber profile - change it and save it, gonna get off and re heat my pizza's.

Hulababy · 02/02/2005 16:55

munnzieb - that's exactly how I feel about it. But not sure how long to leave it before DR will listen to me and take it seriously.

romilly · 02/02/2005 17:03

awwwww Nikichik dont be afraid to find out - much better to know, cause it may be something you can easily do something about - or it may be that you are worrying for nothing

munnzieb · 02/02/2005 17:06

well in our case they said 6 months, and my friend's just been reffered as well after 6 months, (but like me she has gyno probs)

Hulababy · 02/02/2005 17:10

munnzeib - I may ask next month then, or when we move at the new surgery when booking in. We move anytime now so might be worth waiting, getting a new GPs and then asking there right from start. I have all my charts from FF, and my OPK results too.

munnzieb · 02/02/2005 17:12

well I recon that would be best Hula, as then u're with the same doctor thru out. might take a few weeks to get ur notes transfered thou to your new DR.

Hulababy · 02/02/2005 17:16

I guess, but no harm in getting the ball rolling I think. It could be something really simple I guess. I know that I can get pg - I have done twice before. BUT it'd be great to know if there is something I could be doing to make the chances of falling pg mopre likely, to reduce the length of time it takes.

Elf1981 · 02/02/2005 19:23

Am going mad trying to work out when I'm due! Jan really threw me out, was five days late (very disappointed when it happened) and now I don't know when I'm due! From what I work out it's anyday between now and Monday.
Just wish I knew. It's annoying, as usually as regular as clockwork, I even start at the same time of day!
Keep thinking I might be, but I'm saying to myself "No". Partly because I don't want to be too upset if I'm not, and partly because I don't feel any different. Not that I'd know if I would do, as I'm TTC No1.

Just reading over the thread, think must be a direct corrilation between marriage and weight gain! I've gained 2st since being married (only a year so feel rather disgusted at myself!). In fairness, I lost 1 1/2 stone before the wedding... so it's actually only 1/2 stone!

Good luck everybody.

XXXXX

pipsy1 · 02/02/2005 19:34

In the same boat about working out when AF due. Trouble is it means next month TTC is a bit mixed up too. Was so regular and jut when you get compalcent it all goes to pot!
Had a fab day with DD at Drusillas and am just enjoying only having one and trying to make the most of doing things easily! Got to stay positive girlies!

mummygow · 02/02/2005 19:38

Hi everybody CD14 today and I am feeling quite weepy but dont know why. dh still on nightshift but we managed to have a quick bd. I feel terrible for moaning to all of you as I have only just started ttc but I feel other people would think I was silly for going on so you are the only people I feel that I can really be myself with.

Hulababy hope you are feeling better.
