Great to hear about your scan geordie Do you have a lovely little picture of baby?

Link is interesting - and I bet we all do the looking and peering, examining for every trace of a second line - don't we?!

oatcake · 03/02/2005 20:29

Well, Jessicasmummy! You sound perky today!

Hulababy · 03/02/2005 20:30

mummygow · 03/02/2005 20:39

evening all jm you made me laugh at not missing an oppertunity to bd even when arguing - i dont think my dh can keep up with me - him and my sister just keep laughing at me. We were sitting at tea tome and my sister asked if I was ovulating I said yes I think so and she asked us if we had bdanced today and we all burst out laughing - were is the romance!!!! lol

jessicasmummy · 03/02/2005 20:45

so funny when it is so calculated! I wasnt going to pass up an opportunity to fall pg even if i was mad at him now would i!!!!

OP posts:
mummygow · 03/02/2005 20:49

JM are you going to invest it any of the kits that the others have - i dont really know what they are or what I should be looking for!

jessicasmummy · 03/02/2005 20:50

i dont understand them! I cant be dealing with having sex on certain days - it would make it too clinical and take the fun out of it for me..... if it got 6 months down the line and i wasnt pg i might think about it.

OP posts:
Hulababy · 03/02/2005 20:58

Doesn't have to be clinical though. It's just about knowing how your body works and what it does.

Last time I was TTC I didn't use any help at all, and look where it got me. 15 months of trying (then it ended in a mc) and then yet another 15 months of trying after that. Hence this time I am willing to find out how my body works, what signs to look for, etc. because I know I can only get pg at certain times of the month - so as well as having sex at other times, it'd be good to make sure I also do at the importnat times too.

mummygow · 03/02/2005 20:59

I see what you mean but I am also scared that if I feel that I have to do it every day that it wiil become boring and mechanical and then panic if I dont do it one day and that could have been the one ohhh its to much!!!!!

velcrobott · 03/02/2005 21:02

Where are Jeddah and Hester

Velcrobott
Age 37
2 kids already
TTC for 1 months as I had no periods for 6 months

Happy to report just had second AF in 28 days.... so FINALLY had a cycle

munnzieb · 03/02/2005 21:03

well we're currently in the phase of we can't be arse to BD! (and that's when he's home, so the chances of us gettin PG are highly slim even when he is home! ) althou I did send him an email today sayin that when he comes home i'll be on CD10, so to be prepared to spend 4 days in bed, as we need to BD 6-8 times in the 48 hrs around OV apparently.... thou i'm not sure of that fact?)

Hulababy · 03/02/2005 21:03

Supposed to be every other day I think, but if you've been having problems concieving and know when you OV it can be recommended to abstan for up to 7 days before that time too. Not tried that bit though- that would feel too clinical!

BTW, DH is blissfully unaware of when the time is - I keep all that info to myself, as I know he doesn't like the idea of knowing when OV is - too much pressure I think ;)

Oh, and it can still be fun

Hulababy · 03/02/2005 21:04

LOL munnzieb

munnzieb · 03/02/2005 21:06

well girls,i'm afraid DH knows all my bodily functions! lol(and I him, theres not much we don't sahre in our household!) lol, I normally need him to double check my lines if i'm OV, (the first time I did it, he said, hold on have u just peed on that - to which I said yes, his face was not impressed, but he looked just the same (I had to hold onto it thou!) sayin that thou, he doesn't mind anymore as long as it has a cover over it!

mummygow · 03/02/2005 21:08

hulababy hope you are feeling better and looking forward to your ball - sounds very elegant - I think that is a fab idea to keep all the ov info to myself as I think men can put a lot of pressur on themselves.

munzzieb my dh would love an e-mail like that lol

Elf1981 · 03/02/2005 21:09

Well, not feeling lucky tonight. Have all classic symptoms of getting my AF tonight / tomorrow.
Gutted

munnzieb · 03/02/2005 21:10

whispers, well he's started to threaten me now...... he's sayin i'm gonna look like john wayne! (he whisles the tune and everything after he says it.... it's scarey!) lol, he's like a man possessed - and this coming from the person who said, I don't care how long it takes cos it's more BD! lol.

Hulababy · 03/02/2005 21:11

Elf - it's not over yet though. Fingerrs crossed it is other symptoms instead!

Feel a bit brighter already - out of bed to start with! Another day of resting and I should manage it

mummygow · 03/02/2005 21:12

Elf1981

Elf1981 · 03/02/2005 21:16

I feel lousy and eurgh.
It's been a bad month all round, so this would just top it off. Had a really bad cold / flu, and then got a rash all over my body (lovely!!).
Will have to see tomorrow I guess. Usually I'm very regular (which used to annoy me, but now realise gives me chance to understand my body!), and I've got all my classic symptoms.
Looking forward to getting upset in the work loo's tomorrow!!
DH will hug me when I get home and tell me it's all okay, and tell me not to get upset. Wish he knew what it was like - okay, it disappoints him too, but he doesn't have that disappointment on top of wacky hormones!!!

mummygow · 03/02/2005 21:18

Hulababy thats right enough, Elf when I found out I was preg 1st time I my sister had taken her AF and I said to her, oh I wish mine would hurry and come I can feel them coming and I just want the cramp to go away (I was in america at the time) so by the time I got home I just thought that they were late because I had jet lag and when I got bfp I still felt as though I was going to start my af. so Hulababy well done for keeping it positive!!!!

ChaCha · 03/02/2005 21:18

Hi everyone, I'm a Golden Oldie here, but haven't been on in a while. After 2 laps and currently on NO medication (whoo hoo - the last medication gave me a cyst - hence lap no.2!)

Currently happy to announce, CD12ish
