TTC ? Waiting for first cycle after miscarriage

Is anyone else out there in the wait between the end of a miscarriage and their first cycle ? Xx

Hi, I miscarried last week at 6.5 weeks. My physical symptoms have pretty much ended (I think/hope) and I'm planning to start testing for ovulation as I don't really want to wait for my period. I'm 41 and really panicking about time not being on my side. I have a beautiful son but desperately want him to have a sibling.

Sorry that there are so many of us in the same boat, but it is comforting to read others' thoughts and experiences x

I'm still crying everyday after my miscarriage in January 😭💔 is this normal?

AF is due to arrive this weekend and definitely don't feel pregnant this morning. I've resisted testing so far see if it lasts 😂

I am thinking of doing ovulation sticks next month? Rather than just guessing from the period tracker app.

I used the ovulation sticks this month. And I’ve been bbt tracking as well, so throwing everything at it 😂. I was away for work Friday till Tuesday evening but think I caught the LH peak on Tuesday morning. So we might be lucky still but it wasn’t great timing to be away.

sorry you’ve still been so tearful @Sparkles512 I do think there is quite a big impact after miscarriage for a long while. My discharge has been slightly strange ever since (sorry tmi)

@Sparkles512 tbh I think there is no normal, it's a shitty unfair situation and however you process it is completely reasonable. Have you looked into any support or counselling? Not that I think you have to, but it could be good to try.

I stopped bleeding yesterday, we haven't actually discussed trying again yet but I'm going to start ovulation sticks today. Ordered some more HCG tests too so I can check it's completely negative.

It's all just really crap, isn't it?

My cousin had some counselling sessions after her miscarriage as she was finding the emotional side of processing very tough to move on with. She also took some time off work with a phased return.

Yes maybe counselling would help.
I didn't really take time off as I am self employed. The miscarriage happened over the weekend and I was back to work by the Wednesday.
A friend and her partner had a few weeks compassionate leave after their miscarriage and I think that really made a big difference.

Hey ladies....I got my BFP today! I didn't test during the 2ww...just waited for my period and it didn't arrive yesterday, so took 2 test this morning and both positive!

Not sure how I feel? Gosh! It's so strange to not feel happy straight away...f u MMC!!!!!!!!!

I want to cry so much.....it's like I'm still sad for my little bean💔and not knowing the reason why just makes me anxious going forward...I really hope this baby arrives earthside in my arms xx

I got my bfp last week too :)
The one month we completely missed ovulation window and thought I was completely out!!

I think my EDD is 3rd January

I have 2 children with a birthday in December and in January.
Going to be an expensive 8 weeks with 3 childrens birthdays and Christmas in the mix 🤣

Based off my LP, EDD is 6th January.

One of my children's birthday is in December a week before Christmas lol! It's going to be lovely 💞 xx

I thought my EDD was 4th January but just checked my app and actually 2nd January!
My children’s birthdays are that side of the year too lol
I have one child bday just before Christmas and other child bday just after 😅❤️
I don’t mind though I’m so blessed to be here Christmas/new year baby will be lovely ❤️

I am hopingthe 3 of them will want a joint birthday party save doing 3 🙈🤣

What are your age gaps? Mine will be 5 and about to turn 3 when baby arrives 🤍

Haa hopefully they won’t mind I think if they are close in age then it’s acceptable.

My youngest will be 3 and I also have a teenager! Xx

Hey everyone, anxiety is a bit high.. it's just dawned on me that the pregnancy test is definitely positive but the test line isn't as dark as the control line...given I've missed my period? Xx

Mine took a while to be as dark as the control line.
It’s only in last 2 days it has been as dark, So don’t panic.
im using wondfos, And used a couple digitals.
what tests are you using x

Oh gosh it's so worrying even tho I know there is nothing that can be done apart from just trying to relax xx

The brand is called Freedom I picked it up from a local pharmacy. It was only about £3 so maybe that's why 😭😄 x

The wondfos are very good very cheap and highly recommend for line progression.
Im full of anxiety at this stage so I can’t really talk lol but try not too worry I’m sure in a couple days it will get darker - Mine only got as dark as control line a couple days ago and your a few days behind me xx
