TWW 1dpo anyone want to join?

Hi,

Anyone currently in the TWW? I could do with some company for the next couple weeks!

I am currently 1dpo. The last 3 months I have had chemicals and it has devastated not just me but my DH too. it was his birthday last month and i knew when i did the CB digital on his birthday and it said "not pregnant" that it wouldnt end well, despite getting a positive with the same urine the same morning and all the other positives i had on my boots tests, it hadn't gotten darker from the 2 days before. I was due that sunday/Monday and AF came tuesday. This is the last month we are trying on our own before we get help. I'm hoping my body just rejected a few bad eggs/sperm and this will be our month!

All TWW stories welcome, symptom spotting, over analysis, all the crazy weird things we only notice in the TWW!

I forgot to mention, we both took coq10 this month to see if it helps at all, I've seen good and bad things about it.

He absolutely loves it, says he just feels generally better.
It made my hair fall out, blood pressure drop, heart palpitations and dizzy spells so I've stopped taking it since ovulation yesterday!

I am 1DPO too - we have had so much sex - but we will see.

We just dtd every other day, and an extra bit yesterday 🤭

3dpo for me. 3rd cycle, and have only dtd once so I’m not hopeful. Feel a bit deflated though because although we’re not “actively trying”, and rather are just seeing what happens, the last 2 cycles have really got me down. I haaate the TWW with a passion and the last 2 cycles my period came early so I just know if it’s not early this time I’ll get all my hopes up!

Hi @Nelly1023! Don't feel deflated - it only takes the once and you only need 1 healthy little swimmer right?

I am almost certain that's the way to do it, just see what happens. It's so much more relaxed, stress really takes its toll on your body and definately your mind. We do the same, I feel ovulation quite strongly - pains, EWCM, snappy so we just do it then and see what happens!

I think I had a "fake" ovulation the other day and ovulation is actually today. I have the usual ovary pain today, I think my body is just ready to be up the duff again and it's trying to get as much good stuff in position and ready for the egg as early as possible 😂

Hi ladies, LH peak today so assuming O day tomorrow. Only DTD today & yesterday so we’ll see how we go.. 🫶🏼 my LH surprised me today, I usually get a surge 1 day before but it shot straight up this morning

So I think my peak yesterday was just a high surge.. got a stronger peak today. Maybe we’ll go again tonight… my BBT is all over the place as I wake early hours / during night, but does make sense that it’s lower on my actual peak day as that’s pretty normal for me x

@babydustx glad it made you feel better.

I don't chart so don't really understand yours but from what I've seen the higher the better to indicate ovulation! Hopefully you have had some "adult" time to catch that egg! Does your temp always dip on the day of ovulation?

Nothing new to report for me, except after we dtd last night my ovulation pains stopped which is strange, they usually carry on for a few days. So I'm either 4dpo or 1dpo...🤦‍♀️

Hopefully I get my usual hot signal to say somethings happening - with all my pregnancies I get hot cheeks (face!) I am flushed all the time and they are hot to touch, and my hands and feet are usually frozen. And cramps too, early cramps like 6dpo onwards. I think I'll be testing Friday, then every couple days after that due to not knowing for sure when I ovulated.

@CookieCrumbleCrumbsI've been charting for around 6 months so no expert 😂 BBT spiked this morning I assume meaning I’ve already ovulated then wait to see if it stays high next 2 days to confirm it. We didn’t DTD last night but did 2 nights before so hopefully covered it enough.. guess it’s just the dreading waiting game again now!

It’s great you recognise all signs to look out for from previous pregnancies! I really try not to symptom spot during TWW but it’s so hard not to

This is the first cycle semi trying since my last miscarriage (4 in total, no children) and am on a cocktail of drugs so hoping something works. Got a bit caught out this month though as my cycles have been extra long since the miscarriage in April at around 40/41 days with ovulation on day 28 so was very suprised when it looks like I ovulated CD18 according to my LH strips.
Managed to try 2 days before peak and at around 1am the morning after my peak - so approx 16 hours after (partner had been out so had to catch him late 🙃). Not sure that would have been enough but let’s see!

So sorry to hear about your miscarriages. Sounds like you’ve done well to cover those days considering the peak took you off guard!

@Lalalala77 I'm sorry to hear about your losses. I hope you caught ovulation, its sounds like you gave it a good go, especially as it sounds like it came so suddenly.

I've had a weird day today, woke up with mild cramps, felt like period was about to start, decided to clean the toy room out (its an all day job!) to not overthink it. Still cramping with pinching on my right side, like a stitch. Still waiting until Friday to test (but probably sooner knowing me!)

Oh wow I've had the same the past few days ! I said to my husband I have a stitch like pain ! And a dull ache right down in there like a period is going to start! Xx

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I've had this feeling before, only once when I was pregnant with my DD and that wasn't until about 6 weeks, the midwife said it was something to do with when the egg pops out it leaves behind a cyst? It's gone a bit now thankfully, it was quite intense!
I hope its a good sign for you! Hopefully it's a sign of implantation! 🤞

With my 2nd pregnancy I had pinching in my left side I think it was a couple of days before AF was due which made me think it was my usual cramps starting. fingers crossed it’s a good sign for you both @CookieCrumbleCrumbs@VanessaShanessaJenkins99

Thanks @babydustx. The pinching for me has now stopped, just the cramps hanging around. I did read ages ago that your tubes contact to release the egg out after fertilisation, and that can cause pains...don't know how true that is though!

Ah thanks @babydustx - im trying so hard not to link every single thing i feel to it being an early pregnancy symptom!
I have such had heartburn and indigestion! I laid in bed last night in the dark and i felt so dizzy! Im 6DPO today so in theory today would be the first possible day for implantation! Im going to try and hold off testing until Friday lol!

I get excited for each and every one of you! You can’t help but get your hopes up for each test can you 😂 in 2dpo, first cycle trying since DD.

6dpo but have really bad cramps and I’m sure I’m going to come on early - feel like I need to go back to gp because my cycles are becoming so irregular again. (I had a period every 2 weeks for over a year with no explanation after I had my daughter) I hate the TWW but even more when it becomes a one week wait for nothing 🥲

Tbh I don’t even know what my pinching was as I had an implantation bleed about a week before. It’s hard to pin point as I didn’t track my cycles at all.

i really hope it’s all promising signs! How many DPO are you?

It’s so hard not to symptom spot isn’t it! 😂 the dizziness I remember well though, so that could be a good sign for you 🤞🏼 sometimes I test stupidly early like 7dpo knowing it will be BFN but then it’s done and I can move on with my day lol

That would be really early for AF wouldn’t it? How long is your luteal phase normally. Are you taking any vitamins / supplements that could have changed your cycles a bit?

@babydustx I've never had implantation bleeding, I wish I did so I could be a bit more sure of myself! I've had no more pinching since early this morning. I am 6dpo, possible 3dpo because it felt like a 2nd ovulation but I'm now thinking the first was the true one considering my cramps, pinching and I have the famous hot cheeks! 😂

@Nelly1023 that's a very short cycle, may be worth a chat with your gp especially if you're trying to conceive. Do you track ovulation?

I have had cramps all day and a bit of a headache too. I've also had my hot cheeks I only seem to get when early pg. It started early afternoon and I made DH feel them when he got in from work, he immediately beamed a massive smile at me and said "pregnant" 😂 ill know for sure if I wake up at 2am for a wee in the next few days, that's always a dead give away too. All I hope is this is not another chemical, I just don't think I can take 4 in a row. I feel a bit guilty too as we shared some wine the other day when I thought I was ovulating again, I only had a glass and a half but still!
