TWW 1dpo anyone want to join?

Hi,

Anyone currently in the TWW? I could do with some company for the next couple weeks!

I am currently 1dpo. The last 3 months I have had chemicals and it has devastated not just me but my DH too. it was his birthday last month and i knew when i did the CB digital on his birthday and it said "not pregnant" that it wouldnt end well, despite getting a positive with the same urine the same morning and all the other positives i had on my boots tests, it hadn't gotten darker from the 2 days before. I was due that sunday/Monday and AF came tuesday. This is the last month we are trying on our own before we get help. I'm hoping my body just rejected a few bad eggs/sperm and this will be our month!

@CookieCrumbleCrumbs@babydustx I feel a bit silly that now the cramping has stopped I was likely being overdramatic - it’s just so hard I feel like the wait makes me crazy!

my cycles are crazy and this is actually why I’m not tracking properly because I feel it’s impossible. I do have 2 children already so it has worked out for me previously, even with the weird periods.

@Nelly1023 The wait makes me crazy too, mostly just to test I think, I like to know either way as soon as possible! Never feel silly for spotting symptoms, we all do it and anyone who says they don't I don't believe them! But, what's to say just because the cramps have now stopped that's not a positive sign?

That's pretty amazing you have had 2 children with crazy cycles! I've always been under the impression you need set times to get pregnant - period, ovulation then 2 weeks until next period. You have smashed through all that and have 2 beautiful children as proof!

@Nelly1023 no such thing as being over dramatic! We’re all here for it for you to share as little or as much as you feel like. It’s nice to know we all have each other for company ☺️
I also have 2 children so I know my body knows how.. it’s just a matter of when!

@CookieCrumbleCrumbs how’s the hot cheeks? 🤣 I love the optimism DH has!

Tbh it’s the first cycle I told DH I was actually ovulating and I don’t know wether the pressure to perform was a little off putting… or the fact i did bleed slightly after DTD the day of LH peak which was weird so we didn’t do it after that. I do sometimes ‘spot’ 3-5 DPO which I have no idea why but I guess it’s just normal for me - probably a bad sign tbh.

I’m 2DPO and had wet / creamy lotion like CM today.. also not unheard of for me at this stage

7dpo today and even though the hot cheeks were short lived I've been cramping all day still, it has been non stop! Very heavy feeling too, like I'm about to start my period and had quite an increase in CM too. I'm also exhausted, had to nap with DD for 2 hours today which is rare, and I'm so looking forward to curling up in bed for a sleep tonight!

aw lots of symptoms that sound really promising! When do u plan on testing? Will temptation get you before AF due?

It could all be promising, but it could all just be af or another chemical. Trying to stay positive! I actually told DH I wanted to test tomorrow 🫣 I'm hoping I'm too tired in the morning and forget until its too late! I usually test early, my DD I was 9dpo and it was a good bfp on a frer, I'm certain it would have been a squinter bfp at 8dpo! I want to test ever couple days, so if I get my bfp I can hopefully see progression and not stop getting darker then fade. If that does happen again I'll be going to my gp.

I am 8DPO today! Been testing since 6dpo - obviously absolutely nothing on the tests!
I dont know why i do it to myself! i really wish i could hold on - i said i would wait until Friday but thats not happening!

Hi @VanessaShanessaJenkins99 bless you I love you started at 6dpo! Obviously it would be a bfn at 6dpo but you never know hey?!

I didn't test today, I restrained myself thinking if I am going to get a bfp, 10dpo is the day I want it! I only have 2 frer tests in the house too so if I did test today I would have only had 1 left for 10dpo and if that was a bfn I'd have none and have to order more which would stress me!

How's everyone else doing today?

Do you guys know much about bbt? It's only from my fitbit so I'm not sure how reliable this is but what do you think? 🤔

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 - every time I say I’m going to wait until 10dpo and every time I test way earlier so I hear ya! In fact I did a test this morning at 5dpo and got disappointed it was a huge negative even though rationally I knew it would be 🙈.
The earliest I’ve ever had a squinter has been the evening of 8dpo but normally they’ve been at 10/11dpo so I have no idea why I’m suddenly going to defy nature and have a positive now. The worst thing is I would definitely panic if I had a positive now as to why I had it so early - this TTC lark sends me insane, I promise I’m usually a pretty level headed person 😂

Absolutely no symptoms so far my end. I’m aware it’s too early and considering it’s our first month actually trying and the timing wasn’t brilliant that it’s also unlikely but one can hope!

Im also excited for everyone else on here, really hoping there’s some good news coming in soon from you all

Has anyone ever had mixed CM? Like thicker white CM eith EWCM mixed in? This is new to me, it's either super fertile CM or white, thicker CM. I googled it and that wasn't much help, anyone had this?

I don’t understand this chart sorry, at what point on here did you peak / ovualte? I use Premom and FF charts which are pretty good! Il share the charts so you can see how the BBT looks on mine if u like

Premom vs FF chart.
They do differ slightly based on how they predict the date I ovulated.
I think if you have 3 consecutive days of higher BBT than past 6 BBT then usually a good indicator that you’ve ovulated.

4 dpo and AF arrived today. Any ideas? It is my first full cycle since my DD arrived so cycle is all over the place clearly. I got EWCM and positive LH test 5 days ago so I’m confident that was my surge and my 4 dpo is accurate. Do we think I just have a short luteal phase this month? TMI but the bleeding is bright red, quite heavy and I have cramps, so definitely think it is AF rather than anything else.

@AccountingMummy are you still BF your DD? I have heard that this can change/shorten your cycle and I know a couple of friends who were TTC when BF, when they stopped they got pg within 2 months, but couldn't before.
I didn't pay much attention after I had my DD because we weren't ttc, except my period returned 5 months after giving birth and was all over the place until I stopped bf her at 1 year.
Maybe it's just a short cycle for you and your body is just resetting? Dont want to get your hopes up but I would monitor it, my sister had "normal" periods up until 20weeks pregnant!

So today I have the weirdest taste in my mouth, and I think I've had it for about 3 days but I didn't think much of it. Its almost like acid on my tongue. No heart burn or reflux, just a weird taste! Today it's been almost unbearable, its making foods and drinks taste off - a cup of tea is out the window because it tastes just awful! It remind me of when you have been out and had far too many, when you bring it all back up THAT after taste, it's awful! Or licking a metal battery (I've never done that but that's how I think it would taste! 😂)
Roll on tomorrow because I will be testing first thing and then I'll know if I'm crazy or 🤞 get a lovely dark bfp!

Im 6dpo so still a way to go and obviously very negative tests 🙈
I’ve had a really long day working today over two jobs so haven’t had much time to obsess today which is very good. Maybe I just need to work 24/7 in the TWW to get me through from now on!

It's a bfn this morning! I was almost sure it would be a bfp however, i was almost relieved it was a bfn because I didn't want to see a bfp fade to nothing again...such a weird feeling. 2 more days to go then I'll test again!

@CookieCrumbleCrumbs sorry to hear was BFN. Still early though so don’t feel too discouraged. I’ve had bad cramps past few days almost feel like AF and slight spotting, I know too early for implantation and doesn’t look like it anyway. I get it most cycles so just really annoying.
BBT is still high but not hopeful, 5DPO today

Mine was a BFN too - 10dpo is still pretty early in some cases so not all hope is lost! I am going to try and hold out another 48 hours.

@babydustx thank you. I know it's still early I just always seems to test positive by 10dpo if pregnant - the last 3 chemicals and when pregnant with DD all 9/10dpo. Your symptoms all sound good, does your temp usually stay high after ovulation?

@VanessaShanessaJenkins99 I'm sorry you had a bfn too. Doesn't waiting just feel like a lifetime, even just 2 days?!
