TWW 1dpo anyone want to join?

Hi,

Anyone currently in the TWW? I could do with some company for the next couple weeks!

I am currently 1dpo. The last 3 months I have had chemicals and it has devastated not just me but my DH too. it was his birthday last month and i knew when i did the CB digital on his birthday and it said "not pregnant" that it wouldnt end well, despite getting a positive with the same urine the same morning and all the other positives i had on my boots tests, it hadn't gotten darker from the 2 days before. I was due that sunday/Monday and AF came tuesday. This is the last month we are trying on our own before we get help. I'm hoping my body just rejected a few bad eggs/sperm and this will be our month!

All TWW stories welcome, symptom spotting, over analysis, all the crazy weird things we only notice in the TWW!

Yes BBT is usually steady til about 12/13dpo then AF will come like clockwork on 15dpo 🤣

@babydustx well I hope this month af doesn't come at 15dpo and you get your bfp this month!

What tests are you using? I’m so tempted to test tomorrow with the cheapie Premom one, although I know will be bfn at only 6dpo 🤣 god help me

@babydustx I used first response this morning but after last month I wish I had bought boots early tests because they picked up sooner than first response last month.

How sensitive are the premom ones? I can't tell you not to test because I almost tested at 6dpo then 8dpo this cycle! But if it makes you feel better go for it and good luck!

oh boots more sensitive! That’s interesting, I’ve never used those. I think Premom are 25.. I may be wrong tho!
I will just need to do it to kick the urge I think. We’ll see! Grrr hate this TWW.

@babydustx yeah they showed earlier than first response but they seem to take forever to actually show a line once you wee on the test! It takes the full 5mins initially to get a line.

Sometimes you just need to test, just to get it out your system to wait out the next few days! Good luck if you do, and let us all know!

I’ve just spent the last 30 minutes staring at what is definitely a negative 8dpo test trying to convince myself I see something 🙄

No symptoms for me at all either, sometimes some low stomach feelings but I recon that’s just normal toilet issues 😂

It’s ridiculous how mad we all get isn’t it - I strained my hip flexor yesterday and was trying to figure out how that might be linked. I’m a physio for context so that’s extra ridiculous for me to try and make into some sort of symptom.
I have a busy work day ahead so at least I won’t be spending my time peeing and staring at blank sticks today.

Oh no! This TWW brings out the worst in us 🤣 we actually all turn a little crazy I think.
If it makes you feel better I’m only 6DPO today and stupidly testing, then spent forever staring at a stupid evap line which has now obviously disappeared lol and would never be positive this early anyway!

I’ve ordered some different cheapie tests to try too - I currently use easy@home (think I said Premom earlier in thread but got that wrong!)

1st pic - evap/indent at 10 mins
2nd & 3rd - light / no light it disappeared

Why did I start too early 😭 🤣

11dpo, trying to hold off testing until missed period if I get that far - luckily no tests in the house so can’t be tempted, but I feel like I’m going mental waiting! Symptom spotting but I also recently stopped BF my 2 year old so all of my “symptoms” could be that - my boobs are giant and painful! Hope everyone’s okay!

@Lalalala77 oh no! Luckily you have a lot of work to do to distract you away from the crazy! It does send you insane, hence why I posts like this really help you get the crazy out! Hopefully you'll get your bfp in the next day or so! I pulled my lower back Monday and I convinced myself it's because all my joints and ligaments have loosened ready for pregnancy 🙄 I'm close to being certified!

@babydustx I'm sorry I it was an evap for you - I can see it in the first pic. You are still early though so hopefully in a few days it will be a blatantly obvious bfp! 🤞

@Nelly1023 you have some strong will power! I'm 11dpo, bfn yesterday. I hated it when I stopped bf my DD, my boobs were just agony constantly. I had to massage them to get the let down feeling to get relief for a while. Sending hugs your way!

Most my symptoms have disappeared today - cramps are barely there anymore, no weird taste anymore, hot cheeks are still there but hey 🤷‍♀️ ill be testing 1st thing in the morning, if its a bfn again I'm probably out this month!

@Lalalala77 hope work went well and distracted you. Omg I know the feeling after BF’ing 😮‍💨! When are you due? Do you think u can wait till then?

@babydustx because I’ve had 4 miscarriages I need to start a cocktail of drugs as soon as I see a positive so annoyingly waiting for my period isn’t a huge option for me - instead I just get to go mental each month looking at blank tests! I think mentally it’s also better to see a few negatives before I come on, just to prepare myself.

Im pretty sure I’m out this month. In all 4 of my previous pregnancies I’ve had a positive by the evening of 8dpo which I’m aware is early but just seems to be my pattern.

Many fingers crossed for everyone else though! And if not this month then there’s always next 🥰

AF has arrived for me ! So back to cycle day 1 xx I'm gutted 😢

12dpo bfn for me today! So either I did ovulate later and I'm still in the waiting game of AF is due tomorrow/Tuesday. One thing I know is I will be waiting until AF arrives, or if it doesnt i wont be testing until next weekend. I've never gotten a bfp later than 12dpo, always 9-11dpo.

I’ve been reading but not posting. I think I drove myself a little crazy last month and ended up super stressed. My ovulation was delayed meaning I had a 40 day cycle. I got my hopes up as we’d done the deed plenty in the right time frame but sadly it wasn’t to be.
This cycle I know we missed the window as my partner was really poorly with flu. We managed to DTD 3 and 4 days before I ovulated (I don’t temp so that’s going off LH strips and CM) but that was all we managed. I know there’s still a slim chance but I feel like it’s taken the pressure off a bit this month. I’m currently 10po. Not tested and holding out until day 12 or my period arrives whichever comes first.

@CookieCrumbleCrumbs sorry to hear BFN 😞 I mentally clock myself out at 12dpo just to try and ease the hurt when AF shows up. But we all know there’s still a chance ..!

@Fullofconfusion welcome 🤗 glad your feeling a little more relaxed this TWW, you never know you might be pleasantly surprised!

I tested BFN today too - I know it’s still early but I just know this cycle isn’t the one. I’ve been having spotting and cramps which I know isn’t implantation - spotting been light and happening since 3/4dpo but I do get 1-2 days of it most cycles x

PS. I’ve got two clear blues left (stupidly I used one today) and never using them again, they give the most awful evaps I have ever seen!

Welcome @Fullofconfusion. Sounds like you have had a couple of really stressful confusing months! Hopefully you have caught the egg this month, if not you DH will hopefully be all better and you can try again next month.

@babydustx 100% me too! When 12dpo gets here and it's a clear bfn I KNOW I'm out. Been feeling AF cramps all day - she is definately on her way! You should try boots early tests, they worked so well for me last month and they are cheaper than frer!

@babydustx I ALWAYS get evaps on clear blue, I hate them blue dyes, they are just awful! I've been burned several times with clear blue, only pink dye for me!

@babydustx clear blue are so bad for evaps! I’m not sure how they can even still sell them.

@CookieCrumbleCrumbs - I’m also feeling period cramps today - a bit earlier than usual at 10dpo but at least we are in it together!

negative again today at 10dpo and period cramps ramping up. They woke me up this morning so I recon AF is in its way.

Hopefully there’s still some positives to come from some of you, otherwise see you in November 🙃

Hi everyone - due on tomorrow and couldn’t hold out any longer so went to get a cheap test, all morning I’ve just had a “feeling” so I quickly grabbed one on my lunch. At first I was sure it was negative, but the more I look the more I feel like I can see something - have I got line eyes or is there a verryyyyyy faint line?
