TTC Baby #3 Not our first rodeo 🤠

I thought I’d start a thread for those TTC baby number 3 (and beyond, feel free to join!) It would be nice to share experiences. I feel like where I’m from 3 is the new 2 😅 but I’ve always felt like I wanted a bigger family anyway (I am 1 of 4!)

For background, DD1 has just turned 6 and DD2 has just turned 4. I’m on cycle #2, AF due in a couple of days but I’m testing BFN so roll on cycle #3. I was really hoping to catch before November so baby would only be 4 school years behind DD2 🙈 but what will be will be!

DD1 took 15 cycles

DD2 took 1 cycle

Anyone else??? X

I have a random question…do you think dogs can sense early pregnancy? 🤔 our dog has been super clingy these last few days, wanting to be sitting/lying on top of me as much as possible.

Then tonight I went to visit a friend and her dog went mental - like crying, sniffing around my abdomen and trying to cling on to me. He NEVER does that when I see him, he’s usually a quick head rub and off he goes kind of dog. And I know dogs would generally sniff your crotch when on your period, but this was definitely my stomach he was sniffing and whining at, not my crotch!

@MamaO88tested this morning BFN. I’ll test again tomorrow but I’m fully expecting AF to show her mug tomorrow 🙄 I have to start taking medication from a positive test so I test everyday it makes me feel better to know yes or no for that day

none of my dogs have ever noticed mine but obv dogs can be very sensitive to changes in the body which is why they are good service animals

Well I’m out AF showed just as expected. CD1 eurgh the worst now it feels an age until O.

how’s everyone else doing?

Ok soooo plot twist. AF is a bit weird more like pink CM and my cervix is still high. She usually starts full on. I had cramping last night which is so unusual for me. So I dipped an easy at home jumped in the shower and I came back to the faintest of faint lines so dipped one more and a boots test all with super faint lines. Like so faint you would def question your line eyes and they are def not photographable 😂 I did have IB with last DS and it does seem super similar to that soooo maybe 🤷🏼‍♀️🤔 not sure I’d like to say either way at the moment

Now they’ve developed a bit easier to see. I am shocked so so so sure that I was out 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think I can see it actually. Good luck, I hope those lines get stronger!

Ooh you are only a couple of days ahead of me in that case @MamaO88 , fingers crossed for both of us this is our cycle! Let us know how you get on with the test tomorrow!

6dpo today and feel like this is no man’s land 😂 I nearly took a test today and slapped myself out of it . I have 5 cheapies left so might test Friday at 12dpo even though I did promise myself not to test early this month 🙈

Oooh @mummatara - I see the lines! That’s so exciting, will you test again tomorrow or in a day or so? I’m terrible if I get a faint line for wanting to see the progression! 😅

I’ll definitely let you guys know how tomorrow goes @olivehush - will be testing super early in the morning as we’re getting picked up at 6:30! Having to pack a couple of tests into the case just incase it’s still early

@olivehushhahaha if it makes you feel better I almost caved at 7dpo too and def told myself don’t be dumb 😂 you’re doing well keep going with the distractions you haven’t got long! It would be nice if we can be 5/5 this cycle for everyone 💪🏼🤞🏼

@MamaO88yes I’m a line progression girly there is no way on earth I could leave it at that and not test 😂 tbf I have managed to work out there was something wrong with 2 pregnancies checking line progression so def something to be said for it helped me not get my hopes up too much those times. Can’t wait to hear in the morning hopefully a bfp 🤞🏼I’ll be up nice and early I have one that likes a 7/7.30 start but the youngest is anywhere between 5 and 6am 😫

the bleeding has now disappeared completely to be replaced by horrendous back ache which I remember with 2nd DS. Hopefully that means it’s gonna be a good sticky one it’s nice and burrowed in ❤️

I am too a line profession girly OBV. I’ve had 3 chemicals/early MCs and I was blindsided by the first one but the second two I tested every day and lines got fainter so knew it was coming and that does make it ever so slightly easier (only in my opinion!)

I test until I get a dye stealer/im too nauseous to dip tests in wee any more 🤢that’s generally when I know it’s a goer 😂

@MamaO88omg that’s so exciting! What a great early line! I was going to message this morning and then realised how early it was and was like give the woman a chance 😂 will you test again tomorrow?

My line got slightly darker this morning so that’s reassuring. I’ve got one test left so will pop to boots today and get some more. Il take some pictures in the daylight

I’ve got 2 tests in the case with me, had originally thought Tuesday for next test as think I’m only 10dpo today, but now there’s a line I definitely will want to check progression!

@MamaO88haha I was pregnant on our all inclusive honeymoon the place we went to served some amazing wine according to DH but I had none 😂🙄 see if you can get some more at the airport maybe?

Yeah, well also trying to keep it from the kids just now as they're of the age that as soon as they know they’ll be telling everyone! 🙄😂

I'm really chuffed for how clear that line is for my dates, I was expecting more of a squinter but hubby couldn’t deny this one! Haha

@MamaO88yes 13/14 dpo today I’ve never had a positive so late. I often wonder what they are doing when they say you can implant 6-12 dpo like are they just floating around looking for a juicy spot to implant 😂

I think I'm 6/7DPO; So at least week to my period being due. My older DD has been yapping about her imaginary "little brother" for the last few weeks, which is weird as we're not sure where she has got this from. My DH dismissed this as something she probably picked up from a friend in Nursery (after two girls, he's convinced he can only be a girl dad).

Currently TTC number three. Started last November and got pregnant quite quickly but then had a miscarriage at the end of February, and have been trying since then with no luck. Feeling quite panicky about my age as I turn 40 in December.

So nice to see the positive results on this thread 😊

Hi, can I join too? I’m TTC number 3 and have just entered the TWW of cycle 5. I already have two DD age 4 and 1, but have always wanted 3 children. It took 6 months to conceive my first, and 9 months to conceive my second so presumed it would take a while for a third. Hoping to be lucky to catch before the year ends 🤞 lovely to see a positive already on this thread! X
