Oh popcorn, that's exciting - how lovely for you to go through pregnancy together.

I always wanted a pregnancy buddy but it wasn't to be...this time round I'll have all you lot as my virtual buddies .

Diege, love that you pop on here in between lectures - as an ex-student I can't imagine any of my lecturers mn'in!

Its nearly as bad as imagining your parents having sex.

Can only assume the window cleaners have arrived - I've got the base unit for DS monitor turned on in the lounge and there's noises coming through - but he's at nursery .

I have no cash - where can I hide?!

pregnantpopcornprincess · 03/06/2008 10:42

hi playing. not bad thanks.You?

I'm so tired and boobs are sore but not aching as much now. I hope thats a good signa nd not a bad. No sickness yet but it's early days still I suppose.

calsworld · 03/06/2008 10:42

Diege, sensitive to smells is a really good sign - that's hard to imagine surely and not an AF symptom...fingers are already crossed for you!

pregnantpopcornprincess · 03/06/2008 10:48

I agree cal - Diege, thats a really good sign. That was one of my fisrt symptoms!! my fingers are crossed too.

Diege · 03/06/2008 10:50

Oh I don't know Cals, I have convinced myself beyond any possible doubt in the past, as dh will attest to, and af has truned up regular as clockwork . LOL at mumsnetting lecturers...we're all at it you know - bet your's were as well
Hi Playing, good to hear from you; congrats for your sister pop, lovely news .
Right must get back, just popped back in to get a board marker

lastboxoftampons · 03/06/2008 11:00

Jeez Louise! 7 pages in about 36 hours since this thread was created!!!! that's got to be an MN record!!!

Diege, 2ww, due to test 6th June (15dpo)
Squack, 2ww, due to test 6th June (13dpo)
Moosma, 2ww, due to test 7th June (14dpo)
lastboxoftampons, 2ww, due for AF 9 June
KookyKid, 2ww, due to test 11th June
Calsworld, 2ww, due to test 14 June
HappyNappies, 2ww, due to test 18 June (19dpo)

Adding myself to the list. Have a pitifully short LP of only 10 days, which you'd think would make the 2ww less torturous, but it doesn't. Amazing how jaded I've become in what really amounts to only 3 cycles of TTC, but not confident this cycle at all. Got pregnant first cycle (ended in mc) so had nothing to compare my 'symptoms' to. Then last month which was first month trying since mc I thought I had every symptom in the book and AF arrived early. So, back to square one this month.

Too much to catch up on! And I'm sure squack is sick of hearing my opinion on her chart Hello to Grufallo! Welcome!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 03/06/2008 11:18

Jaw dropping moment, the MW is coming here never thought I'd see the day....! Didn't recognise her name, (and I can't remember it now!!) so will have to see if I know her when she get's here!

Really had better get tidied round !!

Symptoms sounding very good BTW

kayzisexpecting · 03/06/2008 11:26

Thats great news Pop!!

Diege, I can smell things a lot more now I'm pregnant.

Nat, thats amazing. The ones round here practically need forcing to come out.

calsworld · 03/06/2008 11:28

NJ - that's great, lovely of her to make the effort. Hope she's nice .

kayzisexpecting · 03/06/2008 11:30

I have a new MW as the one with DS retired and I never in a million years thought she'd be as nice. But she is.

My bloody MW broke her ankle 2 days before DS was due and I was in a right panic about it.

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 03/06/2008 11:31

Sorry, completely missed Pop's news, congrats to your sister!! Race to the finish line then? Got visions of you both labouring in neighbouring rooms, grandparents popping back and forth, book running down the local as to who will go first LOL

Have speed tidied downstairs, just need to wipe over in the kitchen and hoover, t'is the first time I have loaded the dishwasher for months God I love my DH LOL

calsworld · 03/06/2008 12:02

popcorn, have you had a cs before? they're not much fun! agony for weeks and higher risk of infection etc (I got MRSA in mine). If i ever manage to get pregnant i want to look into a vbac.

Chatting far too much as usual.

Pop is going to be an auntie too!

Not sure what else really.

calsworld · 03/06/2008 12:20

Hi BB, know how you feel, I find it hard to stay distanced and yet not feel like I might miss an opportunity to TTC at the same time.

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 03/06/2008 12:22

aw cool thanks playing, ive been staying away trying to get my head straight ya know? realised i was far too obsessed etc, so until im actually pg, i dont think i'l be on all that much! must learn to skim read, otherwise ill never keep p with you all he he!! i was most panicked when i thought id lost you all!

anyway congrats to all who are pg / gonna be aunties and welcome to all newbies and hello to everyone else he he x

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 03/06/2008 12:24

x-posts cals, DP and i has a heart to heart and have agreed just to commit to gof'ing everyother day, so cant complain he's been really good, i explained how much it means to me and he's notw not minding being used lol

Fathers day upsets me two fold, as i miss my dad terribly but i also feel guilty for missing him mmore than my mum if that makes sense

Playingthewaitinggame · 03/06/2008 12:35

Ah, BB, I'm sorry you're havine such a hard time. I got the impression you were staying away so you don't become obssessed. I understand, as I'm sure we all do. Feel free to pop back as infrequently as you like! We're always here if you need us.
