LG&T, yes, I can see why you would be living in fear! Had no idea of your background when I posted, hope I wasn't sounding like a know it all or anything!

IBL, I've heard lots of good reports about it...

A friend of mine(I have to have something about me that attracts twins) has 5 kids at 21. She has 2 sets of twin girls(idenitcal(sp)) and 1 boy. She was convinced despite having 4 scans that her DS was going to be twins. Even in labour she thought she was having 2.

ovulation predictor kit (OPK) - like a pg test, only obviously testing for ovulation instead - another stick to pee on. I haven't used them (yet) but seriously considering it as am confused by everything at the moment!

Well I do love POAS so they sound good to me. I shall bear them in mind. Thanks happy. I know what you mean - it's all pretty confusing!

I have used them for the first time this month, they are great because they mean that you can (how shall I say) concentrate your efforts more effectively. The ones I have used are Clearblue digital ovulation tests. They are great you don?t have to worry about searching for lines as you get an empty circle if not fertile time and a when it picks up LH. Once you get your you have 48 hours to make like rabbits and you OV 24 - 36 hours later...

I have just read the instructions so ignore my last post please I now know the answers.... Except the temp one squack.... I am on the 2WW everyone??. errrrrrrrrrr

Hello ladies, can I join in?

And what is FF?

I'm here now LL!

Kooky, congrats on the job

LG&T, sorry about the sickness, most likely is nothing to do with twins. Mind you you have so many now I'm sure you wouldn't notice another one

Not much help on the POAS stuff. All I do is watch EWCM. For me it seems a pretty good predictor as I seem to be getting a 13 day LP every time from the last day I see EWCM. That will do for me at the moment. I can predict the exact day of my period now by my EWCM, which is huge for me as it varies between 31 and 38 days, I used to just think I was late all the time, now I just know that sometime I ov late particularly if I am stressed/run down. So for now that will do. However, I am completely aware that once I start ttcing if things dont happen within a few months I will be POAS obsessively!

Hi everyone else.

Cocode - of course you can join in. FF is Fertility Friend, it is a website (I am assuming it has been used in that context as I only skim read before I posted )

Hello Cocode and welcome. FF is fertility friend. It is a website that helps track your cycle so can help pinpoint OV.

I might go back to the shop and get a pizza. We could have the stir fry for lunch one day this week.

LardyLumps - that's the 5pm lull everyone making their way home and getting dinner ready for returning dp's!

RE: what you're looking for in terms of temps - it should shift about .2 degrees farenheit or .1 celcius and should be higher than the previous six temps. For example, my pre-O temps range from about 36.1 - 36.2. After O they rise to about 36.35 - 36.5 and stay elevated until period. Hope that helps!
