BB, I know how you feel - if you do 'take a break' rest assured you'll be welcomed back with open arms, you know that, don't you.

How about "The wagon rambles on - and my goodness so do we...yet another thread for TTC'ers and those waiting to TTC" ?

BB, sorry you're feeling down, take a break if you need to but we'll all be here waiting for you when you come back

Welcome along Ses, I hope you get good news at your scan.

Our busy day turned out well, we went to Exmouth for the afternoon - our first proper trip to the seaside as a family of 4! DD2 cried when she first touched the sand but soon got used to it and filled DH's shoes up, and loved it in the sea too, she cried when we had to get out but she was freezing. I'll put some photos up in a bit.

Hope you all had a lovely day in the sun

BB, fwiw, I think that if mn-ing is stressing you out, then maybe a break is what you need, after all, its here, 24/7, easy to pick up again if you feel you need to. And you know the friends you make on here are so very understanding of such things...sometimes is good to just do the best thing for yourself in real life.

Ses - we always put a link at the end of the thread to the new one.

We really need a name.

Something like 'The wagon is heading for the ante-natal clubs. NEW THREAD for TTC'ers and waiting to TTC'

Bit crap isn't it.

Of course we won't mind. You know you can e-mail me at anytime you want. Even just to talk about Eastenders or something like that.

I hope you will be back very soon, we'll miss you sooooooo much!!

And if you can't be a dramatic whatever when you are ttc or pregnant when can you hey??

Report
Ses15 · 08/06/2008 21:42

BB - I sooo know how you feel about just wanting to have dc1. No offense to those of you that are ttc dc2+ but I'm ashamed to admit I am a bit jealous.

Cals - Sorry, I'm still quite new to this. Do I guess right that a thread can only have 1000 posts? How will we all know where to find the new one???

I've had a nice sunny day catching up on all those boring washing and cleaning jobs (when will they ever end!!) and I'm just pleased that it's now nearer scan day on Wednesday when I hope to find out what really is going on!

i only talk about it or think about it on here thats the point, and we went away a few weeks ago it was lovely, i honestly think i just stress myself....im sure it'l be ok, but i think im really really ( and i hate to say this) gonna have to completely leave MN till i am pg, cos ( and this is due to my own mental state not any of you) i always feel worse when ive been on here... i know its mad i really do but i think its best

hope none of you mind, but if its ok with you kays when im ready to cme back i'l email u to find the latest thread?

i hope none of you think im being an dramatic whatever, i truly think all of you are lovely, i think i just need to be away from something so focussed on ttc?

kayzisexpecting · 08/06/2008 21:34

Is there anyway the 2 of you can go away for a weekend soon? Just to have a nice relaxing weekend, do some fun things you haven't tried before or something you love doing that you haven't done in ages.

Just to try and take your mind of everything and to just have a weekend of not talking or thinking about ttc.

It may really help you.

yeah i mean last time i was pg i just feel, on down days ( and sunday is always a down day) i wish id never found this site...which is a weird thing to say... i just feel so down, i sort of dont want to think im pg incase im not, i'd be crushed.

i feel jealous of ppl trying for second or third DCS cos i have not got any...i know its all irrational... my life feels a bit of a mess atm, DP keeps saying he thinks i am pg.

im worried tho about what to do if not pg as dp and i have been GOFing, have only missed a few days... why does it all have to be so hard!

Report
kayzisexpecting · 08/06/2008 21:23

Its crap isn't it. I bet if you didn't want to be pg you'd have an accident and be pg straight away.

I know quite a few people who got pg when they stopped thinking about it but when you want to be pg its so hard to stop thinking about it.

Evening all, if anybody's about!

Cals, wish my dh had worked hard today, lol,I took dd out for a walk and to my mum's for three hours this afternoon to give him time to shelve a couple of cupboards, move some furniture and put up some bits and bobs in the bathroom...I came home and he'd put up a toilet roll holder. Apparently the wall was very hard to drill. I'm assuming he was using a piece of celery to drill it. I'm highly unamused.

Anyhoo, and I know this is the stupidest question, and I really do know better, but do you think you could get symptoms 5 or 6 dpo? My boobs are acting very strangely, lol, shooting pains and very tender. Had to go put on an old maternity bra yesterday and today! Or am I back to phantom spotting again...

Moos, sorry about your bfn.

Lix, your chart looks good, fingers crossed for you!

Yeah its called Clomid I think. I suppose you could give it a few more months and then go and see them.

You could be pg now. I really really hope you are. I miss having you around.

Hi guys, need to have some thoughts about the new thread title as its coming up very very soon!

Sorry about your BFN Moosma, not over yet though, as we well know!

Where are we on the who's testing when thing...

lastboxoftampons, 2ww, due for AF 9 June
KookyKid, 2ww, due to test 11th June
Calsworld, 2ww, due to test 14 June
Lardylumps, 2ww due to test???????? due AF 15th June
Glaskham, 2ww due to test 15th June
HappyNappies, 2ww, due to test 18 June (19dpo)
EsmeWeatherwax, 2ww, due to test 18 June, (13 dpo)

Kayz, I had really bad headaches at the beginning of my pregnancy with DS and MW said to drink more - fixed it almost immediately! Hope it works for you.

DH has worked really hard today and cleared some crap out of the shed to make room for the new mower, mowed the lawn (YAY! we have grass and we were allowed to sit on it!!) and has started to put in the gravel boards for the strip where we're going to gravel for the dog to use. He's got the membrane to go over the top too, just need to take a bit of the top soil off to make it the right height.

My friend came to visit who we've not seen for a while so we had a good catch up - she's good with DS too, not one of those awkward friends at all.

A lovely day all round - if a little hot! Hope you all enjoyed yours, I'll try and catch up tomorrow.

x

I doubt they would blame your weight.

Someone I know had a baby last year conceived naturally and she weighs more than we do.

Report
nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 08/06/2008 20:40

no ewcm that ive noticed, thing is im not sure docs would help, think theyd just blame my weight?

Report
kayzisexpecting · 08/06/2008 20:37

I think I would. The first long cycle could be put down to the implant coming out. But a 2nd one could be something else.

Even just to see what they say. It could just be that you have long cycles.

Have you been looking out for ewcm at all? do you know if you have OV?

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 08/06/2008 20:34

hadnt really thought that far ahead! what would you do?
