OMG Kay cant believe that about their grave..... there are some wankers out there for sure...

lardylumps · 06/06/2008 19:19

Kay get it right it is not: You are not my mother!

It is You r not me muver..

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 19:19

I know. It was terrible. Some rich businessman read about it in the paper and he paid for all the graves to be re-made using granite or marble whatever it is they use.

He was such a lovely man, we were all so sad when he died.

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 19:20

Thats great LL, I cant do the accent though.

lardylumps · 06/06/2008 19:21

wow what a lovely man....

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 19:23

He was great, a real eccentric man. He held a big party for everyone once all the graves were finished and he had a maze in his garden and all the kids got lost in it. Me included

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 19:24

I also thought he was Willy Wonka, he was so like him. Just no sweets.

lardylumps · 06/06/2008 19:28

That is amazing. Puts your faith back in the human race when you hear something like that....

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 19:30

I know, it does really.

lardylumps · 06/06/2008 20:02

right I am off now so will see you all tomorrow.

UptheSquack · 06/06/2008 20:06

LBOT there is no way that it can be AF with that temp spike. Once the embryo implants it signals to the CL to stay alive longer and there is a second increase in Progesterone.

If it was AF then it would be a lower temp due to the death of the CL and therefore a reduction in Progesterone.

wait 2 days for a +ve I reckon.

Moos I still think it's implant for you. Brown blood is old blood probably left over from the last couple of days.

I cannot possibly catch up with anything else so do forgive me if I've forgotten anything

Been at work all day today so I'm shattered, will be there until tomorrow afternoon too. Catch up properly then girls. Is anyone testing tomorrow am?

calsworld · 06/06/2008 20:22

Hey squack, no testing for me yet, still got another week to go.

Had a bleary moment today and realised its probably coz I'm due on which means another unsuccessful month of TTC. Mentioned it to DH and all he could say is that I'm obsessing and to get over it . I think that's a little unfair, sure I read and post on here, but I don't actually get on here very often (not compared to you lot anyhow!) and anyway, WTF happened to sympathy?

I don't temp, I don't shove my fingers up to check CP, I don't monitor my CM. I do keep a diary of when I start my period coz otherwise I'd have no clue. I do like to have an understanding of what's going on and I do want to get pregnant.

Git. Good job its the end of the week and I can put it down to tiredness / stress. He's cooking curry for tea so he'll be a bit chirpier when he's done that - he likes his own curries.

All I seem to do is come on here and moan at the moment, sorry everyone...definitely need to get out more.

calsworld · 06/06/2008 20:25

Sorry, just re-read that sounded like I'm being critical of those that do temp and monitor CP and CM. I'm not at all - I'm angry and think DH is being a bit harsh.

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 20:28

Its all right Cal, its a good place to come and vent. Its better than just bottling it up and then letting it get to you one day.

We don't mind!!

Starshinetiger · 06/06/2008 20:30

Oh Cals - a lot of men don't have the sensitive gene and those that do, forget to lose it a lot. He probably thinks he's being helpful
I know what you mean about tiredness - it's been a long week.
Kay, sorry to hear about your sis and brother - how awful for you and your parents. Really lovely story about the rich guy though.
Right, just a quick catch up as PILs coming tomorrow and I need to clean/tidy around. Due to man-flu all I really want to do is snuggle up on sofa - ah well, maybe when DH gets home and he tells me to put my feet up.
Off to Foo Fighters tomorrow (did I mention that? ), so if I don't get on this weekend, have a good one all.

Starshinetiger · 06/06/2008 20:30

lose - meant use!

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 20:31

Star I am so bloody

I'd love to see the Foo Fighters.

On the other hand it is only 13 days til BOYZONE!!!

Diege · 06/06/2008 20:36

I am still intrigued by this job of your's SQUACK - can we have some more clues please? .
Kayz, that is truly awful what your poor parents have been through . It must be lovely for them to have another grandchild on the way .
Names are all planned . With dds I already have a Jasmine, Scarlett and Liberty, and if it this one is a girl it will be Mathilda and if a boy 'Louie'. The poor 'Louie' has been rolled out 3 times now .
Right, dh back from Gloucester, so speak tomorrow! xxx

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 20:42

Oh Diege Scarlett is a gorgeous name(tempted to 'borrow' it)

calsworld · 06/06/2008 20:47

Thanks guys. Just managed to catch up should have done that before ranting, perhaps would have put things into perspective a bit better for me....Kay, that's really sad, your poor parents - good job they've got you and your DC('s!).

We have a really really difficult last name, as those that have found me on FB will know...DS has the same name as a famous racing driver from the 70's and not sure what we'll do if we have another as his name is my absolute fave and the others just don't go with our last name....they include jacob, jake, jack, (theme 'j'? ) joshua is nice and is a possibility.

If we have a girl then the plan at the moment is for her to be Emily and have my mum's first name as her middle name - mum will be cross though as she hates her name, we like it though and DS is carrying FIL and my (step but may as well be real) dad's first names as middle names.

DS is my dad's only grandson and giving him his first name as a middle name was really important to my dad, so really pleased we did it.

Mmmmmm I can smell curry.

Moosma · 06/06/2008 21:49

Cals I used to work with someone with your surname, his first name was Mark. We had to be veeeerrrrry careful.

Diege · 06/06/2008 21:54

Just popping on while dh goes out to get me some orange lucozade...he is not happy about me continuing mt usual binge of diuet coke every night .
Joshua's a lovely name Cals . Am wraking my brains now to think of your surname!
Thanks Kayz!! We also liked Ruby, but obviously couldn;t have it now lest they be known as the 'Ruby' and 'Scarlett' from Eastenders . Out of the 3 names we have used, we have always had lots of favourable comments about Scarlett - we know of many people who have it as a middle name, and others who liked it but chose the 'safe' version Charlotte (which is lovely too; esp like 'Lottie'). Poor dd2 does tire a little of people calling her Charlotte . We usually call Liberty Libby , and Jasmine actually likes 'Jazz'.
I love Oliver for a boy, but it's a huge no no with our surname...(if shortened to 'Olly') Can anyone guess?? .
Ok, so you can tell names are to me what prams are to others, so I'll shut up and go and watch BB!! Really going now xxx

calsworld · 06/06/2008 22:27

Diege, you'd have to Hunt around for my name as I only have it posted on FB, not on here.

kayzisexpecting · 07/06/2008 06:59

Just a quick message as we are off out soon.

Diege, If its the caffeine he isn't happy about he really shouldn't buy you lucozade as it has caffeine in but not much. I think its like 0.012%.

I didn't sleep much last night. I was either too hot or too cold. Its so annoying.

Have good weekends everyone.

UptheSquack · 07/06/2008 06:59

Morning

I would've been around to chat but i lay next to Dh on the sofa and fell asleep through Gardeners' World. He woke me up and told me to go to bed , no idea when, but I never stirred until a few minutes ago

I feel like I've been hit by a bloody train!

Kayz that's such a lovely ending to a heart-wrenching story . Was your s-sister okay in the end, did she get back ok?

Cals I was verrrrry irritable and weepy and ranty at 5-6dpo. If I didn't know my period was at least a week away I'd have thought I was due on too.

NJ do you have an inkling whether it's a boy/girl this time, lovely names btw

Moos & LBOT good luck for today x (I'll stalk your chart later prepg)

Diege if you find me on facebook I'll tell you what I do for a job.

Hello to everyone else!
