Yeah she is at home now. She is now telling Dad she already knew him but she has a habit of lying so he isn't fooled.

Right I am really going now.

morning 8 weeks today time is flying by

gj to work out lp you count time from ovulation to next period. temping would help you work put when you ovulated unless you get obvious ewcm

Diege · 07/06/2008 09:08

Morning . Having real trouble sleeping at the moment. Couldn't drop off till 1 this morning, then woke at 4 wide awake . Surprisingly I don't feel especially tired!
Squack, I will try and find you on facebook - can't remember if I've contacted you before on it?
Kayz, no not the caffeine (he has no chance there) it's the artiificial crap that is pareticularly bad in diet coke (the high level of phena whatyoumacallit). It's just his 'thing'not linked to anything scientific as such- we even ask for 'full fat' calpol to avoid the artificial nasties - our pharmicist gets it in specially as most people want the sugar free. Think I will change my habit to fruit juice mixed with sparkling water to get the fizziness!
GJ, enjoy work, poor you! Clueless about working out LP - didn't think yopu could do more than estimate b ut I'm sure the temping experts will be along soon.

Diege · 07/06/2008 09:08

There you go, Tinks here!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 07/06/2008 09:11

Morning all

Kay, lovely ending to the story about the rick man coming to the rescue, t'is like a proper modern day fairy tale

Have had loads of requests from people on face book, I know Cal has, but not sure of the others, so if any of you lot have asked to join, let me know as I'm not just adding people that I don't know for the sake of having an extra 'friend'! I'll go and get the initials of the names that have asked in a minute...

Squack, I don't have a inkling, although with our family history I think it is very likely to be a boy, but then this pregnancy has already been very different to the boy's, who knows? I'm not too bothered either way, in some way's I'd love a girl, in a house full of boys/man it would be nice to have a another girl, but then a boy would be so much easier, I know what I'm doing with them! DS1 has already annoucned he'd like a girl, so he can play with a different lot of toys! LOL But if it is a boy he wants us to call him George, so he is the same as DS2!

Cal, sorry didn't get chance to reply to the email, DH's just are a step away from it all, and if he is anything like mine, although he is very happy and excited, it doesn't really effect him until the baby is nearly born, everything up until that point (inc. everything around TTC'ing) is down to me! (Same with choosing names, until the baby is almost here, he just isn't interested!)

Geordie, post your dates you have, and we'll see if we can disipher a pattern

We are off out this afternoon to sort a car once and for all, have told him he has till the end of the weekend, and then I will no longer be interested, and he will have to sort it all out himself! So he has found out that one of those car supermarket things have a bit of a fun day going on today, clowns and face painting for the kids etc. and they are offering 2 years free servicing, so am hoping we'll go there, get signed up for the next 5 years and come home and not have to talk cars for the forseeable!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 07/06/2008 09:15

X posts, morning Tinks and Diege

Diege I have been getting up much earlier but falling asleep in my dinner (if I've even stomached some) by 8.30! It is no good feeling sick, but not feeling sick, and feeling sicker when you don't eat, but sicker still when you do... at least I'm not actually being sick, admire you lot that get through that!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 07/06/2008 09:18

lixanismapolium · 07/06/2008 10:36

Hi all. Still can't believe how fast this thread moves. I have come to the gym to use the internet here as cannot get to the computer without DD (3 yrs) sitting on my knee at home!!So I put her in the creche, had a swim and now I've got 20 minutes to catch up with what you are all doing. Been reading about all of your pram thoughts. We had a P&T E3 for DD and it was fab .... until we flew with it last October and BA completely trashed it. Uo until then I was thinking it would easily do a 2nd. My only one criticism was the material footrest - DD always pushed her feet into it and made the pram go of course - I see that has been fixed with the new one.

lixanismapolium · 07/06/2008 10:37

think I meant 'off course' !

Moosma · 07/06/2008 10:38

Morning all, you're all so busy already! LOL at Olly Diege, I can see how you'd want to avoid that one!

Have fun car shopping Nat, we bought a new car in November (well not new, but newer) and it was such a pain lugging the seats in and out to test them. I think we'll have to do it all again in a while as there's no way we'll fit 3 in the back.

Oh, and your sickness but not sounds very familiar, with DD2 I wasn't actually sick that many times, I just felt sick all the time so couldn't eat which made me feel sicker.

I didn't test this morning as I had a bad night. I think my tea disagreed with me as I was up for a couple of hours, erm, disposing of it . I had a raging temperature too which is unusual. I did take my temp this morning and it was way higher than yesterday but I think I shouldn't count it as I was awake so much in the night.

So where's LBOT, did you test this morning???

lixanismapolium · 07/06/2008 10:40

A question for the temping experts .... does the room temp affect the BBT? DH wanted to sleep with the windows open last night as it was a bit stuffy in our room, but I was scared that would make our room colder and make my temp come out lower .... I really want it to stay high as it makes me feel better!!!!!!! Would it be affected? DH would be really happy if someone could tell me I'm being a bit silly

lixanismapolium · 07/06/2008 10:44

NJ - with DD I felt sick constantly for a full 14 weeks but was never actually sick once. I remember walking to work in floods of tears one morning because I couldn't even remember what it felt like to not feel sick and I was convinced I was going to feel sick for the rest of my life !! Happy to say that I was wrong. Once week 15 came along I was absolutely fine, so hang in there and it will pass.

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 07/06/2008 11:04

LG&T, I'll add you in a second How are you now? Twins still a possibility? When will you find out?

Will also add you Glaskham, once I've worked out how to add someone!! LOL

Lix, had to LOL at you going to the gym to MN Well exercising your fingers is very important!!

Moos sorry for the crappy night, it is horrible just the high temp on it's own. Yes, we have all the fun of lugging the car seat and booster about... am so sick of hearing/seeing/thinking about cars now, I don't think he has ever taken so long to choose, normally he sees a car he is interested in, within a week the deal is done, this time it's gone on and on for farking weeks!

Lix, I am certainly no expert on temping I'm affraid, I'd have thought it probably does shift a tiny bit, (as body temp does) but whereas in normal life that wouldn't matter I know temping is all to do with fractions of change.

And for those of you that maentioned it, I really don't think it will be a girl, regardless of how I'm feeling, taking into account family history, there doesn't seem to be any way it could be a girl. Still daydreaming about pink things wcan't hurt can it?!!

lardylumps · 07/06/2008 11:08

Morning all just wanted to say Hi having a shit morning here. Will vent soon if thats ok!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 07/06/2008 11:09

Vent away sweetie

lastboxoftampons · 07/06/2008 11:21

Morning all
Lix Sleeping with the windows pen shouldn't affect your temp all that much. I'd record it as normal, but make a note of it.

Moosma you have a will of iron!

I'm not going to test - I only have a 10day LP, so I'm only 9dpo. I started spotting ever so slightly yesterday, so I'm pretty sure I'm out. Strangely, my temp's been up the past two days. I'm not sure what's going on with that.

LL feel free to vent

lardylumps · 07/06/2008 11:32

Iam so angry with D p at today. I work from home which dp seems to think means that I don?t work.

I start work at 10 today. At quarter too 10 he decides to get into a bath with dd as he is taking her to see family. I hear a bang and then screaming and he screams for me to come and help him. He has let dd fall in the bath smashing her face and giving her a black eye. He then goes on to say it is my fault for not helping him and trying to be difficult (what keeping my job is me being difficult now is it). I sort it out and redress his hand (sliced his fingers at work yesterday and has just pulled it apart again.). I go back to work now 15 behind.

We were going to send our ironing out as I can not keep up with it. He then comes up and says his mum said if he takes it over there she will do it for a bit cheaper. So then I say ok great will you bag it up. No he says he is ironing dd some clothes for today seeing as I can?t be bothered to do anything during the week. So I bag all the ironing up and now I am 1/2 hour behind at work.

I then have to get her lunch together for him to take, get her dressed, look after her while he packs up the car. I am an hour late in my work which means I won?t finish at 6 when I am meant to and he has the cheek to say before he goes that if I did more during the week then we wouldn?t live in a shit hole and that it wouldn't be such a stress at weekend.

I say well that is nice I am late for work because I have helped you all morning and this is the thanks I get. He replied that he couldn't give a shit about me helping him and if I didn't like it then I could piss off.....

He has gone now and I am so I feel like crying. He will ring in an hour and say he is sorry he just lost his temper as he hates dd being hurt. But ffs why does he always take it out on me....

Sorry rant over now.

lardylumps · 07/06/2008 11:43

I work all week the only day I get off is Sunday and I look after DD full time as he works during the day. If I could get MORE housework done during the day when I have DD why the fuck cant he get it down in the evenings while i am at work and dd is in bed..............

Sorry wont rant anymore i promise.

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 07/06/2008 11:45

Firstly, poor DD, hope she is OK?

I know it doesn't help LL, but if I am pissed off with anything DH bears the brunt of it, and it is the same visa versa, we always tend to take it out on those we love most because we know they they will still be there at the end of the rant!

Although it does sound like he went OTT. Is there something going on at work or something that he is stressed about? Do you think it is completely down to DD being hurt?

Sometimes DH get's stuck in a bit of a rut with the house, most of the time it is done, but then if one of the kids have been ill, or if I am ill, or something else cocks it up, it can go a week or whatever without much being done, and it really effects him in a negative way, I don't mean he expects his dinner on the dinner and his pipe and slippers laid out (which is probably a very good job else we'd have been divorced 7 years ago!) but when the washing starts piling up, and the kitchen is upside down, he just gets narky about it.

I try to look at it the other way, if I had been out working since 6am, coming in at 6/7 o'clock to a messy house, me and/or kids grumpy/moody/ill/whatever, can't be much fun!

If I were you, I'd accept the apology when it comes, but keep doing your work today, so he has to have DD all day on his own, then once DD is in bed ask him about all the things he didn't get round to doing... always works with DH!

lardylumps · 07/06/2008 11:51

Thanks NJ you are right it is stressful when the house is messy as it is so small. I do normaly keep up with it but with dd being so ill this week and me working overtime at work i have got behind with the ironing and there are clothes drying all over the bedrooms.

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 07/06/2008 12:00

Try not to take it all to heart, it is like I said, it's much easier to take it out on you, doesn't make it right, but it it how it goes.

Hope he comes round soon enough, it is the sulking that get's me more than the cross words!

lardylumps · 07/06/2008 12:08

And boy do they sulk NJ
