OP posts:
Moosma · 06/06/2008 18:05

I like Maia and Mia DD1 and 2 have long grown up sounding names which shorten nicely so I'd like another along those lines which is why I like Matilda. I also like Penelope and Felicity, but DH just laughed!

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 18:06

I suggested Penelope but DH sat humming the Thunderbirds theme and shouting "FAB, Thunderbirds are go"

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 18:08

George is cool!

I love Felicity (FO again anyone?!!)

Moosma · 06/06/2008 18:09

Neither of us have any boys names that we like. I did have Reuben for if DD1 was a boy but now there are 2 round here and I think it's getting a bit overused.

Moosma · 06/06/2008 18:09

Our surname begins with C so we can't have a William!

glaskham · 06/06/2008 18:10

we have had our names forever, a girl will be Ruby Marie and a boy will be Oliver Andrew....

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 18:10

Nat, as soon as my friend said that she wanted to call him Thomas George I thought of you.

She said if she has another DS he will be called George.

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 18:11

LOL William was the other name we had picked for DS1, so glad we didn't, he is so not a William! LOL

Boys names are much harder than girls IMO.

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 18:11

My girls shortlist is

Layla
Isabella
Ruby
Mia

All with the middle name Jean.

imaginarybluelines · 06/06/2008 18:12

Thanks everyone. great photo NJ! Gorgeous nails too! Nice! Will carrying on GOF indefinitely I think. DH is looking forward to going away on a stag do next weekend to get away from me! Funny as it's usually the other way around. At least I needn't worry about what he gets up to!
I agree - it is so amazing what your body does. I am actually really enjoying learning more about reading bodily signs (polite way of putting it!). So much I never knew. lthough the more you know, the more you think about it!

Love the name Tristan BTW. And Layla. Lovely names.

Ooh - what does drinking grapefruit juice do to you?

glaskham · 06/06/2008 18:13

I like all of them Kayz

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 18:13

Ruby Marie is really pretty

Oliver is our surname, but Andrew is nice, in a grown up super rich bloke-ish kind of way

Moosma · 06/06/2008 18:13

I like Isabella but my neice's middle name is Isobel and really don't want SIL to think I've copied her, she'll get such a big head!

lardylumps · 06/06/2008 18:13

moosma sorry to ask but how are things down below now?????

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 18:15

Grapefruit juice is said to increase EWCM.

Just thought I'd better make it clear, that picture isn't me, or my EWCM, or my nails BTW!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 18:16

LOL LL You put things so well

glaskham · 06/06/2008 18:16

well dd has my middle name as her middle name, ds has dh's first name as his middle name (much to the in-laws dissapointment) so a ds2 would have his middle name as his middle name, and a dd2 will have my mums middle name as her middle name....

oh that reads like jibberish!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 18:18

DS1 has DH's name as his middle name.
DS2 has my BIL's name as his middle name. (My BIL's name is actually his middle name, but he uses it as a first name IYKWIM? And he is the closest thing I have ever had to a dad, except my dad.... more jibberish here!)
DS3 will be called after the bus driver or something equally as lovely, we've ran out of blokes to name them after!

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 18:19

DS's middle name is Dominic. Which was my little brothers name but he did when he was a baby.

I'd love to use Deborah-Christine as that was my little sisters name but she also died as a baby. I don't want to upset mum too much as she felt so honored we wanted to use Dominic.

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 18:19

Oh and DS2's first name is actually the same as DH's dad's middle name, but that was more coinsidence than a naming after thing!

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 18:20

That is meant to say 'he died when he was a baby'

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 18:21

God, your poor parents

Moosma · 06/06/2008 18:21

Mwahahahaha I've just found you on FB Nat! Feel free to reject me if you like, I know you said something about your sister tracking you down on here...

I like Andrew but not sure about Andy, always makes me think of a plumber

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 06/06/2008 18:23

LOL Moos, great detective work...

I might just get rid of my sister, I don't even speak to her unless I absolutely have to, so why she wanted to add me in the first place I don't know!! Will find out how to get rid of her over the weekend and except you!

kayzisexpecting · 06/06/2008 18:23

I know. I cant remember my sister. She had Spina Bifida and died at 3 days old. I was only about 1 though.

My brother had Downs Syndrome and a problem with his heart and died at 2 days old. I can remember me and my brother visiting mum in hospital but I think it was after he died as I dont remember him and I was about 8.

So I have to go under a consultant when I am pregnant just incase.
