I might do. They have mentioned SS to her before about DN not being at school but it goes in one ear and out of the other.

She has missed 12 weeks since xmas but 4 were due to chicken pox.

Evening all, DH has just arrived home with flowers, a card, gu chocolate puddings, sparkling wine and a promise of a chinese take-away.....its our 3rd wedding anniversary today!

I hadn't forgotten, just not bothered to do anything for it, (we've been together ten years this year, so 3 years married doesn't seem like a great achievement).

So, hoping not to be back on this evening!

Have good ones girls and I'll try and pop in tomorrow lunchtime if works not too manic.

I know. But no reasons for most of them. They came to DS's christening as sis demanded to be godmother. They went home on the Monday but she wouldn't let DN go to school until the next monday as she thought it was pointless. Despite DN crying for hours about wanting to go to school as it was just after having her chicken pox and she missed her friends.

Know what you mean, will be our 4 year wedding anniversary in Sept but our 10 year together anniversary in Nov, somehow 4 years seems nothing when you have been together 10!

My mum is baby-sitting for us tonight so DH and I are going out for a meal - the first time in about 6 months that we have been out together (how awful is that??).

DP and I have not been out on our own since dd came along. I can not bare to leave her yet. I have never left her with anyone except dp and that is only when I am at work.... Now I know that you will think I am mad but I just can not leave her...

We first went out in May and I hated it. But now I enjoy having the odd night out or the odd meal with DH.

I didn't mind going to London but I dont think I will do it again without the DCs.
