fruity hope scan is ok today and that it put's your mind at rest.x

FruitynNutty · 17/07/2008 06:56

Awwww Emmsy how awful for you to have that on your shoulders. Of course it isn't your fault!
I've got to get ready just now but I was desperate to tell you how much we all admire you and love you on here. Please don't think any of this has anything to do with you. You didn't force anyone to do anything.
Please don't give yourself all this worry Emmsy

Morning everyone.

Emmsy You have been nothing but a force for good on this thread and I can't see that you have anything to apologise for. Clearly some dreadful things have happened to and within your family. I can only commend you for being able to share your wit and wisdom on here despite all of that. Come back and talk to us.

Fruity Big luck with your scan. Don't be too nervous and come and report all asap!

HTGG Do you have an email address you can disclose? Like Fruity says, I used to live in the Village (on the Ridgway). Is Bayley & Sage still there?

So. DF is now in the know! I wrapped up my HPT and a post card I sewn the word "Daddy" on and gave it to him in bed. Bless him, he was so confused (and expecting a more traditional present). His first words were "That was quick!". He's really pleased, although he does keep muttering "What do we do now?". Being a know nothing newbie, I can't help him. I had better start researching!

I did another HPT this morning as I had a 2 pack. It's still positive and very dark, very quickly. You had better not be right about the twins, Emmsy!

How is everyone this morning? I have to got to Ikea

Emmsey - just read your post on the october thread, hope you are OK. I can't see any reason why you should stop posting. Stuff happens in life and we just muddle through trying to make the best of it my sweet.

MollieMooma · 17/07/2008 10:56

Emmsy My goodness who are we to judge you? We probably all have family secrets, it is not our place to say anything other than you have my support 110% Do not dare to go anywhere or I will track you down! You have been the "rock" for our little group and I can't imagine what you have been and are still putting yourself through. It must be terrible for your whole family. I am sending you massive hugs and kisses and I hope you are catching up on all the sleep you missed out on last night

Yarnie · 17/07/2008 11:16

This will either cheer everyone up or really depress them Someone drew my attention to it on another thread.

Link

All I can say is WOW!

mibbes · 17/07/2008 11:55

Emmsy don't be silly hun, we all absolutely love you on here and I have personally found you a tower of strength and helpful advice when I had my scare a 6 weeks You were an absolute treasure emiling me directly with advice and kind words. Your reaction to the original crime is understandable and you did not actually ask your brother to take revenge, he made that decision. Either way, as other have said this bears no reflection on you or how we feel about you - please stay, we need you on here {{{bigs hugs}}} xx

Yarnie FFS, she looks amazing ! She hasn't had kids though has she ?... That camn be my excuse for having a less spectactular body after the baby (not sure what my excuse was before I got PG !)

Fruity any news missus ? Remember what we said about not panicking if too early...

GirlWithTheMouseyHair · 17/07/2008 12:26

emsy just seen your post on october thread too - things happen in life and we can't change them but we can support those going through them, you so shouldn't blame yourself and certainly shouldn't stop posting because of it - it is lovely that you feel you can be honest though so hope we can be supportive in return

scully · 17/07/2008 12:32

Congrats Yarnie, fabulous news
Love the idea of a pregnancy thread with no specific due date though, then everyone can join, and we will, eventually But please don't leave this one yet.
HTTG, your dd's are the same ages as mine. When dd1 was born in 2002 I spent a lot of time in Wimbledon as we were living in Tooting, and the high street was a lot nicer down that way
We'd all look like Dame Helen at her age, if we had the time and money to go to the gym every day, and we hadn't had any children. She does look great though, I have about 20yrs or so to perfect my sexy granny look
Emmsy, so sorry to hear about all your family troubles, but please don't leave here, we're hear to help each other through these things, not judge.

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 17/07/2008 14:47

Emmsy - from what I can make out, it's not as if you stood over your brother, put the knife in his hand and made him do it. He was an adult and made up his own mind. I'm with everyone else. His behaviour has no impact on you, or how much we love you. No need to go. Infact, would be mighty hacked off if you did disappear. It's in the past and I think you've probably been through the mill enough already.

Yarnie Fruity Scully. Hee hee, are we the Wimbledon massive (Ali G stylee?!). Email is georgiemarples at hotmail . com. Our rented house is off the Ridgeway and our 'proper' house is on St Mary's Rd. Yep, Baley & Sage still there. Have to apply for credit rating before you enter [shock} as everything so damn expensive . If anyone wants to meet up then give me a yell. Wimbledon Park got great swmings, fab water play area and lovely cafe for food/drinks.

Oh and any news on the scan yet Fruity? Sparkly Here's my stats if you want to add them to the list. Not temping/CD13/2DPO (I think)/Cycle 1/TTC No3/ MMC Nov07/MC Mar08. Ov'd v early this month but hopefully DH napalmed me at the right time .

Hope some of th BFP luck will wing its way to SW19!

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 17/07/2008 14:49

Oh and hi to Mollie, Mibbes and Ei. Hope you're having a good day. xx

FruitynNutty · 17/07/2008 15:03

Hiya!
Scan went well. Growing in correct place but still teeny. I'm only just under 5 weeks (as I thought). Another scan in 2 weeks which I imagine is to check it's viability as it's too early to know now.
It's only a pregnancy/gestational sac just now, looked like a tiny black hole in my uterus. Says it's 3.3mm. Yolk sac, amniotic sac and embryo absent. Far too early. Sonographer said if we'd come a day earlier we might not have seen anything! so she said it was good timing.

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 17/07/2008 15:07

Fruity Brilliant news. Are you feeling a little less anxious now? Or are the butterfly's still going? xx

FruitynNutty · 17/07/2008 15:10

nope no less anxious. Even more so as it was too early to tell if viable or not Ah well, I'm sure it'll all be fine

emmsy dont be silly hunny we love you regardless of any family stuff!! you are our lovely support in our TTC crises!! i have some awful skeletons in my familys closet and that doesnt make you who you are how you deal with it is who you are well i like to think so hun xx dont blame yourself for the actions of others you cant change the past no less than you can predict the future. {{{{{{{{{{huge hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} for you hun xx you have my email addy if you need to talk or vent about things and i am available if you want to meet for a coffee and a chat anytime hun xx dont leave us you are our thread foundations

Sparkly08 · 17/07/2008 16:13

Afternoon ladies,
I just logged on and read through all your kind words for Emmsy and realised what a lovely bunch you really are, and how much we support each other. I'm so glad Emmsy opened this room for us and I'm really looking forward to the ante-natal thread (if I ever get there). I've added you to the list HTGG so you're offically one of the gang.
Yarnie and Fruity Are you going to graduate? I didn't know if you were ready to yet so I've left you on the TTC.
Fruity Excellent news about scan. Sending you loads and loads of sticky-bean dust.

Our TTC list looks very short...let's hope it gets shorter .

Yarnie · 17/07/2008 16:49

Fruity I've left you a message on the other thread.

Ei Glad the interview went well Was it for something interesting?

HTGG I'm dashing around a bit this evening, but I'll drop you an email tomorrow to make contact. Speak soon .

Mibbes & Scully You both make valid points about Dame Helen! Makes me feel much better about it .

I might stay on the ttcer list until I have my 18 temps, if that's ok? I'll graduate after that.

See you all tomorrow. I'm off to try and find a pg bible so I can work out what the hell is going on!

Sparkly08 · 17/07/2008 17:02

I've finally uploaded some pics but don't have any wedding ones because we live in sin...we've been engaged for nearly 4 years but haven't got around to organising a wedding.

Yarnie Have a great evening.
