SPARKLY !!! FMU ONLY MISSUS that BFN doesn't count, even if you held wee for ages - at this early stage FMU only !!! and even then, bear in mind that I got BFN on 11dpo and 13 dpo - only got BFP on 15dpo so it is far from over for you my dear .
Consider yourself well and truly slapped on the wrists !

SparklyPiliPala · 02/06/2008 16:35

Mibbes You just made me have a tear. I LOVE U and your hopefulness!! xxxx

FruitynNutty · 02/06/2008 16:38

Awwwww Sparkly! I agree FMU only!!!!!!

You are a naughty girl wasting a test so late afternoon!

Ignore the results, ok!

Found you all!
I've finally had chance to catch up now that our friends with the 10 month-old baby have gone home. Somebody please reassure me that it's different when it's your own I suppose I was getting some practice in for the sleepless nights I'm expecting later this year I'm knackered though!
Mollie Sorry to hear about the washing machine - what a pain in the neck. They say bad things come in threes don't they - that's three things now including your bug over the w/e so hopefully things will get better very soon. Glad you're feeling better though.
Sparkly Fingers crossed for tomorrow's test with FMU
Fruity Phoebe is soooo cute! Bet you can't wait to bring her home.
Hello to Yarnie, Mibbes, Emmsy and anybody else I've forgotten!

mibbes · 02/06/2008 18:40

Oh cricri I couldn't agree more about hoping it is different with your own - am terrfied to go near a baby in case I realise that have made a big mistake ! Obviously ours will be angels so no need to worry

SparklyPiliPala · 02/06/2008 19:46

I don't think I'm going to test until Wednesday and I will only test then if temp remains high. I put all of my charts on top of each other and it seems quite normal for my temp to still be this high before AF. . Don't you just hate these guessing games!!!
Cricri It's easier when they are yours . Thanks for crossed fingers. Hope you're well.
Fruity I couldn't help myself. I've been so good at not obsessing this month too!!

MollieMooma · 02/06/2008 20:46

Sparkly What are you like?? As Fruity said "in the afternoon" tut tut tut! Don't rule it out just yet. You can have the back of your legs slapped from me

Yarnie Thanks for the positive vibes

Well I'm supposed to be doing my promotion application but can't seem to put my mind to it, but must go and try! See you all tomorrow

scully · 03/06/2008 04:52

Well dh and I haven't managed to do anything useful in the last week , he's still too sick with flu. But have been using opk's for the past week and although I had some cm early last week, haven't had any of the opk's show that I'm due to ovulate. Have always found them reliable before so wondering if this is something to do with the m/c?
Good luck Sparkly, fingers crossed
Hi to everyone else

Yarnie · 03/06/2008 07:22

Morning!

Hopefully I've managed not to bodge up the temps this morning

Sparkly I hope the next day or two brings us a bfp from you. I think the stats need boosting!

Sorry to hear your husband's sick with flu, Scully. Hope he's back on form soon. My DF has an infected wisdom tooth (eurgh) and is feeling under pair, too.

God luck with your promotion application, Mollie.

good morning everyone,

Well I've got a lovely high temp this morning Went from 36.30 yesterday to 36.60 today! It's most probably a wind up from my PCS though so trying not to get too excited but we BD'd last night anyway just in case

It's typical isn't it scully, man flu is it? Or is he one of those rare ones who when they're ill, they're actually ill? Still, it's not good enough, tell him even if his leg is hanging off he still has to perform

Morning ladies,
Not a good one - a BFN for me but temp went up by 0.1. I used a Tesco brand test and I've read that they are q accurate. No spotting yet either so I'm still on knicker watch. Not sure what to think...maybe my temp will just stay above the coverline when AF arrives like it did last month.
FF says Implantation Signs: Possibly Triphasic on Day 27 which I've never seen before. I'll have to see what temp is like tomorrow before testing.
Mollie Did you manage to get the application finished? Lots of luck to you. Any symptoms yet?
Scully Sorry to hear DH is still ill. Hope you get an OPK+ just as he picks up.
Yarnie The list looks fine.
Fruity I hope your temp rise continues.
Emmsy and Mibbes Any advice?

Oh FFS Sparkly this cycle is so confusing for you ! Sorry you got BFN again but don't give up hope yet. Have had a close look at your chart and I'd say you may have ov'd a day later than chart suggests - although it is pretty much 50/50 as FF is generally right... Also if 7dpo was an imp dip I'd expect the hormone levels to be high enough to detect PG on HPT by now. Having said all that the temps speak for themselves and by 14dpo you are usually dipping or AF is here... I don't want to raise your hopes too much missus but I agree that if still high tomorrow def test again - I soooo hope this is you month hun xx

SparklyPiliPala · 03/06/2008 12:35

Mibbes I was wondering when I OV'd because I wasn't using OPKs this month. All symptoms (still have sore boobs, spotty chin and on/off cramps) point to AF so I expect she will arrive. I'm trying not to get my hopes up because my body sucks but I still can't help the 'What if?!' AARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH LOL!!

mibbes · 03/06/2008 12:57

Och I know Sparkly it is flipping torture ! The trouble is that all of those symptoms cold mean PG as much as AF grrrrrr... I am in a full-body crossed position as I type

MollieMooma · 03/06/2008 14:22

Sparkly Sorry about BFN but as Mibbes said still early days, it's not over til TEW sings, so I will keep everything crossed (including eyes) for you
Still working on application, got until Thursday to get it in by now. Rather stressed about it, which is actually turning out to be a good thing as I'm not worrying about AF. No symptons or signs yet, although (.)(.) are a little tender, but that's not unusual.
Fruity Really hope your OV'ing hun, keep on with the BD just in case!
Scully Sorry to hear dh is not better, must be "proper" poorly if he can't even BD unfortunately not much puts mine off!
to Yarnie CriCri Emmsy & Mibbes

SparklyPiliPala · 03/06/2008 16:39

Mollie Don't keep your eyes crossed for too long or you won't be filling your application in!!

DP just came in from work and declared he was going to buy a some decent tests from boots. He's normally quite relaxed and very 'wait and see'.

Emmsy1 · 03/06/2008 19:40

sparkly I agree with mibbes, you are probably only 13 dpo. I still think that there is a very good chance that this is it! I was unable to get a positive on a couple of occassions until I was 1 week after AF due, really hope that hcg levels are just too low at present to be detected, fingers crossed hun xxxxxx
Emmsy waves to everyone else***

SparklyPiliPala · 03/06/2008 19:48

I tested when he came back (slap my wrists but I couldn't help myself!) with a CB and got a BFN. Pretty sure AF is going to arrive. I'm sure I would have got a BFP by now if I was pg. Have crampyness too. Less than 12 hrs until tomorrow's temp drop.

Emmsy1 · 03/06/2008 20:14

sparkly try not to test for the time being, wait and see if AF arrives, be strong and hang on in there, we are all routing for you!xx

mollie I had another crap day yesterday, I had been billed £40 for a service I do no longer use, the company just used my credit card details that I gave them last year to renew my subscription, I can't contact them and now I have to fill in forms to try and get my money back! Then my stupid washing machine wouldn't empty again, so one lot of clothes have been on about 8 different cycles today to try and get rid of the water. I ended up having to get the washing out dripping all over the floor then scoop the water out of the machine by hand! I have tried to take my own advice and take deep breaths etc... but it doesn't bloody work!! So I am going to go back to my pessimistic outlook and feel as miserable as I want, feel free to join me!

SparklyPiliPala · 03/06/2008 20:20

Emmsy I'm trying to be strong but I'm not very good. Big [hugs] to you - doesn't sound like you've been having much luck either. xxxxx

God I've posted a lot today.

Emmsy1 · 03/06/2008 20:57

sparkly forgot to mention, there's another way that you can tell if your pregnant, it worked with me with this on this pregnancy, try and locate your cervix if it's high and you can just about touch it then there's a very good chance that you will be pregnant!good luckxx

Yarnie · 04/06/2008 07:10

Sparkly I really hope your temperature remains elevated today and there is a BFP in the offing. I have fingers crossed for you.

I'm expecting to ov imminently as my opks are getting darker. (BTW: Does anyone let their wee cool to room temp before using an opk. All my instructions say to do so, but I haven't. I know I'd end up with forgotten pots of wee in the bathroom when guests come over!)

Hope everyone's feeling good this morning. Hello !

My temp has dropped but still relatively high, Oh please let this be ovulation!

I didn't order those books in the end, I was getting far too excited, I'll have to wait until I've been paid. Once I've paid for DS's playschool then I can work out how much I can spend. Fabulous offers though, so hard to resist!
