Thanks for all the support re scan, hardly slept a wink last night kept waking up and thinking about all the things that will go wrong. Even DH said last night it's just bad memories at the place shame we can't go somewhere else, but our town only has one hospital and we can't afford a private scan so just have to brave it!

OMG CONGRATS Yarnie I KNEW it when I looked at your chart yesterday and that is a flipping clear BFP for a non-FMU wee !!!! HURRAY Don't let Fruity and Kate bully you into telling DP yet (they are terrible, first they cajole you into testing, now this !!!). Once you calm down a wee bit you can spend the rest of the day thinking up a cunning way to tell him - btw Kate I liked your text ! I wasn't very inventive, just handed him the test and he looked at it blankly and asked what it meant !

Fruity yes get the ante-natal thread started missus and we can save seats for our buddies from this thread. You are right though, this thread is the best EVER ! As much as I like my ante-natal thread for advice and stuff I don't feel like I know them as well (apart from the ladies I knew from over here on the 2ww thread !). This is where I feel most at home

Mollie we're having a basement excavated, and a huge new two storey on the back of the house. It'll basically double size of house. Am going all out on fantastic wallpaper, piant colours and flooring (white high gloss, poured rubber floor in bathroom ). I want to re-train as interior decorater and this is great way to experiment.

georgie the pics are on the profile pages at the bottom is a link saying members pics. you just click the little profile icon at the top of the persons post its next to the little exclamation mark to report a poster. i have pics on mine of my DD no bfp or anythin on mine yet (i couldnt get a good pic of my last and that ended badly anyway

EI My scan is next Tuesday morning at 8.55 am so at least I don't have to wait all day before going!

GG Wow sounds like a mammoth job, but really exciting, I'm supposed to be having a new bathroom and that alone has been a nightmare it's been 8 weeks and I still haven't got a basin or a shower, just a bath and unplastered walls - lovely!

wow georgie the renovation looks massive!! im scared of doing such a big change to our house (even though it would make a huge difference to the house) as me and DH have the worst luck ever so our house would be more likely to fall down than it to turn out good your DDs are gorgeous and you look like a rather glamourous mummy better than me the epitome of scummy mummy stylee il have to add a pic of me on mine i think

I would be delighted to talk about my course with you - perhaps over a virtual or real life coffee. I can't claim to be the font of all knowledge on the subject as it's only a year since I changed careers. In fact, I am meeting with a real interior designer soon to talk about the job. I have my first two jobs lined up already which is fantastic, but a bit scary You are your family are beautiful, btw! Like Ei I'm more slummy than yummy(!)
