Well I finally got a date for my scan, next Tuesday so I have a very long week to panic until I hopefully see the HB. If I'm 6wks 6 days I should see a heartbeat shouldn't I? Listen to me getting paranoid already! I'm so gonna be a nightmare x

Mollie Great news about scan date. You should see a hb then. I think it can be seen any time from 6 weeks if not earlier. I was 7+3 for my first scan and could definitely see the hb. In fact it was just about the only thing we could see apart from a little blob! Hope you can relax in the meantime...

Mollie you should see a hb at 6+6 - are you pretty sure of your dates? Really hope the time goes quickly, we all now what it's like... But you'll get there, I have faith!

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome, though I'm really not sure I'm as tough as all that! I'm actually a bit of an imposter as we aren't going to start trying again until September (hopefully) but please may I hang out with you all anyway? I'm doing ok, started temping again this morning which was quite weird, brought it all back IYSWIM. I'm not going to start back on fertilityfriend this month, I'm already on day 15, but I may start again next month, I'll see how I feel.
In the mean time, we saw our (lovely) consultant a few weeks ago, he reckons we've just been terribly unlucky and that there's "every reason to be optiistic that there are happier times ahead"... He'd better be right or I'll sue
We I had some blood tests done and the results take 2-3 months so we need to wait til then. I did suggest that it might be a good idea for DH to have some tests too, but then I made the mistake of telling him how quickly I got pg both times, so he looked at DH and said "well that settles it. You have super sperm" [very-smug-DH emoticon] Which has NOT helped my quest to get DH not to drink etc in the name of ttc. Gee thanks Mr Consultant.

Kate Hiya . Glad that you're feeling more bubbly. Things seemed to have gone well with the consultant. Fingers crossed for good blood test results. And yep, we're off to Sunsail resort near Klakan on 26th July got 2 weeks. Will be flippin' hot, but hey the girls will be in kids club for the arvo so me and DH might be enjoin' some afternoon delight .

Hi Georgie I did get to test this cycle and I got my BFP last Friday Still holding out on the waiting list till I see the GP in about 40 mins time when he can make it official for me . I'm just trying to work out when I could've ov'd so I can work out how many weeks I am.
I'm looking forward to my free dentistry! The last time I had a check up was when I was preg with DS 3 years ago Might even book for next week - take complete advantage!

Just been to the GP, I'm to turn up at the EPU tomorrow with a letter for a dating scan. Only prob is DP can't make it as he's really busy with work tomorrow so we're going to go together on Thursday instead.

fruity try not to worry if they can't see anything on Thursday at the epu, if you are only just 4 & 1/2 weeks they may not be able to see beanie just yet, they will probably ask you to come back in another week. That happened to me with my last DS, I had a ++ test a few days before I had a car accident, I was sent to the epu from a&e and they couldn't find beanie,they gave me a yellow card to carry with me incase I was having an ectopic pregnancy, but all was well a week later when they spotted LO, hope all turns out well XX

Oh crap, they wont see anything will they. I've already got it in my head it'll be an empty sac Never had any of this worry with DS. Obviously younger and a bit more clueless.

Fruity it will be too early to see HB so please don't worry if they can't find anything, it is about 6-7 weeks before they can see HB. Can prob see a sac earlier but not sure when. Good luck and RELAX !

Another high temp from me this morning. In fact, the highest I have recorded. I'm just trying to bury my head in the sand until Saturday. Don't feel AF-ey. I have slightly sore (.)(.) which is very unusual for me. I'm also a little constipated (nice(!)). Other than that, I feel completely normal.

You can get a result with 2ndMU. If I have my dates correct, then I tested at 3 weeks+3 and got a +ve
Why not do a test when you need a wee then try again tomorrow if -ve

DP's just scored some brownie points (finally) He came in after a night out (steaming drunk) with a present. I had a look this morning and it was two Terry's Choc Orange's. On one he had written "For my Fruity" and on the other one "For the babs" Gonna try not to touch them though. I really don't need any extra weight just now when the bean is about the size of a pin head
