Hello Ladies

Was wondering weather or not to come back on and well i just couldnt stay away
As you have all heard i had yet another cp again this month so after a long chat with Dh we decided that ttc is taking to much out of us every month. but we thought me going back on the pill would be too much like giving up and Dh said he didnt want to use condoms so we decided that we will contunie to TTC just gonna tone it down a bit so it doesnt take over our lives iykwim? we've got rid of all opks and hpts in the house , and got rid of the clomid too. we gonna keep temping cause it gives us an idea of whats going on.

Mollie Big congratulations well done hun
Big waves to everyone else!
right off to catch up on thread

oh the next list update i am on cd9 i think, no temp

MollieMooma · 09/07/2008 11:51

Piper HURRAY Your back! Really pleased to "see" you, I don't blame you for taking it easy, for the sake of your mind as well as your body, I knew you couldn't stay away from us for long

scully · 09/07/2008 12:19

Hiya ladies, sorry for my absence, just haven't managed to get on here lately
Congrats on your bfp Mollie
Sorry to hear about your cp Piper Hope the new approach works for you soon.
Wonder what is going on with your cycle Fruity, must be so frustrating
Well af arrived today, so another 28 day cycle, must be the acupuncture as I've never had one 28 day cycle, let alone 2 of them And I am finally over my waiting period for the whooping cough vaccination, so we can go for it from next weekend onwards
Bloody cold here at the moment, not really compared to the UK, but for an open plan, tiled house with no double glazing, 6deg at night is cold
Just had a couple of glasses of red wine though so that has warmed me up slightly

hi ladies
piper so sorry about your CP hun but its a good idea to relax on the ttc front i reckon (not that im one to talk about that!!) good luck and lovely to 'see' you back
sparkly no hangover here from me but i do have a sore throat! that may be down to my enlarged thyroid or just all the laughing i did last night
fruity your cycle is strange lady!! i would give it a week of waiting and then do a test as you never know!!

FruitynNutty · 09/07/2008 12:34

Ahhh, Piper so pleased you didn't disappear! What happen's if you dont take Clomid? Do you still ovulate at all?

Right, had a little more spotting after my last post. Still brown, still very light. It's stopped again now.

My bathroom door wont open so I'm waiting for the Tesco shopping to get here with some loo roll so I can check again (sorry that's TMI) - I've just tried with some kitchen roll but not very nice

I've only had this with one other cycle before (That I've noticed anyway). That was my mega long 96 dayer.

I'm sure it's a thing with PCOS though. Like I say I'll have to see what happens over the next few days.
I can't actually remember what the spotting was like before as this was back in February. I'm sure it must have been same though
Im very irritable though which is typical pre-AF just not got any cramps.

mibbes · 09/07/2008 13:16

Piper lovely to 'see' you back - I really hope the relaxed approach is fruitful.
Fruity I reckon Ei has a point... but then if mid cycle spotting is a feature of PCOS I'll not get excited for you yet... I'd love this to be the cycle for you xx Do you think you'll try Vit E ?

FruitynNutty · 09/07/2008 13:23

ooh yes sorry mibbes I saw your post about Vit E. Can you get it in tablet form? I imagine it to be in creams, lotions and potions I'll definitely look into it, thank you!

OP posts:
FruitynNutty · 09/07/2008 14:15

Ok, so I just thought, "holy crap my AF's started properly now and I can't get to the tampons in the bathroom!" but no, it was clear CM I have no idea what's going on now. Bloody PCOS.
Ok I'm going to stop going on about it now, I'll let you know when AF finally starts...........................

FruitynNutty · 09/07/2008 14:24

Awww I meant to say, I had my pregnant very good friend over this morning (the one who's allowed to be preg cos she had 5 attempts of IVF ) And I felt her baby move She was lying down on the floor on her side and the baby (a girl) wriggled loads. She's 37 weeks and is determined she's going to give birth either early or on time. I've told her she'll be two weeks late

OP posts:
MollieMooma · 09/07/2008 16:05

Fruity WTF!!!! Even with PCOS this is a wierd cycle for you isn't it?

Sparkly08 · 09/07/2008 18:38

Hi all,
Just a very quick post from me...I'm off to the cinema with my friend tonight.
Piper I'm so glad you came back . And, I'm glad you're not going to give up on TTC. I might try a relaxed approach this cycle. I wanted to stop temping but I don't think I can. Lots of luck to you.
Scully Hello stranger. Great news about the 28 day cycle and the waiting period being over. Fingers crossed that this is going to be your month.
Emmsy Are you busy organising the party? Haven't heard from you in a few days.

I'll catch up on the rest of the goss later or in the morning. Have a great evening everyone.

MollieMooma · 09/07/2008 20:26

Scully I missed your post doh! How are you hun, so pleased your long long waiting time is over I hope you and DP have conserved your energy for a serious BD'athon!
Yarnie Forgot to answer your question re Anti-D no I don't need another one, only if I bleed significantly, I think I will get one later on in the pg at some point too.
EI Hangover??

piper84 · 09/07/2008 20:57

Hello Everybody, thanks for all the lovely welcomes back
Sparkly we gonna keep on temping cause it doesnt really put to much pressure on us, it just confirms ovulating, gonna stop using FF and just chart myself though, so i dont get any silly messages of FF like "possibly Triphasic"
Fruity
I was put on clomid cause my progsterone levels were low on day 21 blood results for about six months straight. but me and Dh were talking and we reckon that since day 21 bloods are based on the perfect 28day cycle (]) and ovulating on day 14, and i dont ovulate until day 19/20 that surely she should have been taking my bloods on day 27/28 iyswim. i'm gonna have bloods done this cycle on day 27 and see what the results are like to be honest though, even if my levels are still low on day 27/28 i dont think i would go back on the clomid, the symptoms are unbelievable

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 10/07/2008 02:23

hi ladies
im finally organised for my camping trip its only taken a squillion hours!!

FruitynNutty · 10/07/2008 06:32

Morning ladies

Well I still have a high temp (if slightly lower than Tuesday) and spotting seems to have stopped.

piper at GP basing your blood test on a 28 day cycle, who the hell has a 28 day cycle anyway?!

Hi all,

Spotting continues this morning..and. my chart is quite weird. My GP friend should I should see the GP but I think I might wait until next cycle to see what happens. My temp seems more like post ov again today. Chart is here.

Yarnie Good luck with the builder.
Fruity I'm going to have a peak a your chart now. What are your instincts about what happened?
Ei Have a fab time. Hope the weather holds for you. Did you pack a test? . You've been very chilled out on the old symptom spotting.
Piper You GP sounds like mine...she wanted me to have my bloods done a day after ovulation once and suggested I have them done 'anyway'. I didn't go as I knew it wouldn't be a true reading of post ovulation hormones.

Sparkly08 · 10/07/2008 08:52

Fruity I just had a look at your chart and I have a feeling you ovulated on CD46 and are 11DPO. I think your AF will be here within the next 3 days (if it comes). Your chart shows that your BDed at the right time..cd43 and 46...I don't know why I think this. Does anyone else feel the same?

FruitynNutty · 10/07/2008 09:17

Thanks sparkly See what happens if you stop temping for 5 minutes! I bet if I'd carried on my chart would be the same old same old.

Why do you think I ov'd on CD46?

I had a look at your chart, if you're still spotting then I agree, go see your gp. Maybe they can run some more tests? What tests have you had so far? You've had progesterone which was fine wasn't it. What about FSH/LH? They need to be compared against eachother.

OP posts:
Sparkly08 · 10/07/2008 09:30

Don't know why I think CD46 but that's the day I'm going for . We shall see what happens.
GP did FSH/LH/Prog and lots of other things too (all blood) and everything showed normal. We'll see what happens.

FruitynNutty · 10/07/2008 15:11

OMG I feel so incredibly fat at the moment I've just demolished 10 Hersheys kisses after my lunch. Oh yeah, AND Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream (large bowl of).
Choc addiction is good though, means AF is round the corner doesn't it? Actually, not sure that counts for me as I have choc addiction everyday of the year don't I Sparkly

Phoebe has gone mad, she keeps leaping from one thing to another, knocking things over and trying to climb up the curtains. She keeps walking over the keyboard so I have to keep throwing her off while I type. She seems to love the TV too. She sits right up close to it and stares up at the screen trying to catch whatever is on the screen.
She's getting really naughty. I don't like her in DS's bedrooom while he's sleeping but she loves to sleep under his bed. So she keeps racing in there without me noticing. Plus she also tried to escape when I had the front door open.

Still very cute though

OP posts:
FruitynNutty · 10/07/2008 17:39

Poor DS is really sick He keeps throwing up. I picked him up from playschool this morning and he was shivering. We went to Sainsburys cafe and he refused to eat the sausages, chips and beans we ordered. He then threw up everywhere It was all liquid though as he hadn't really eaten anything. He's not eaten anything else since and keeps throwing up more liquid - I think it's bile. He's so brave though. Not fazed at all. I woul dbe in tears if it were me. I've got a 'being sick' phobia

OP posts:
Sparkly08 · 10/07/2008 20:55

Fruity I've only eaten 8 crispie cakes today...maybe I'm due to have another AF too. I only ever feel like chocolate when I'm due on. I prob should make myself some dinner. My cats still haven't settled down in all the years they've been with us. Cats are mental . Sorry to read that DS is ill. Is he any better tonight?

FruitynNutty · 10/07/2008 20:59

Oh crap, I'm really torturing myself now. I've been googling Implanation bleeding Now I know, given my dumb ass cycles, it's highly unlikely but you know what it's like

Now, be honest (I can take it) What do you think are the chances (if I actually have ov'd) of that weirdo spotting being an implantation bleed? I've read on many google pages that it is normally brown/pale pink, very light and only lasts a couple of days - Snap, snap and snap. You see I'm driving myself mad and heading for distruction! AAgghhhh!
