I'm sorry your cycle is being so epic, Fruity What a palava. Fingers crossed you ov very soon - if you haven't already

SparklyPiliPala · 19/06/2008 08:15

Morning ladies,

Yarnie I found the P-S a bit weird. TMI...I wasn't sure how much I'd 'put in' because there still seemed to be some left in the tube. DP said he didn't notice I had used it. What did you think?
Fruity GRRRRRRRR at PCOS. I'll have to start an egg dance.

+OPK last night for me and think I'm having a Sparkly slow rise again. I BDed on Tuesday so should really make an effort to do it again tonight....

I forgot to update my temp, not that it makes much difference anyway.
sorry, feeling very sorry for myself. I know that when I see the consultant in August, she'll have to prescribe something which should get the ball rolling, if she doesn't I'm gonna go all 'Mad May' in her office and whack her round the head with a crow bar to kidnap some Clomid

Oh and good luck with the Pre-seed Sparkly maybe that's all it will take

OP posts:
Yarnie · 19/06/2008 08:53

Sparkly In my view, there's too much in the P-S applicators. I also had some left in the tube, but certainly didn't need any more. The first time I used it, I didn't tell DF beforehand and he didn't notice any difference. Once he knew, he could tell the difference and quite liked it! I found it was a bit...slippery. I'd definitely use it again if I felt I was a bit low on cm.

Lots of luck with your BDing!

Fruity LOL! You conjured up a very vivid image! In all seriousness, though, I hope it doesn't come to that.

FruitynNutty · 19/06/2008 09:12

oh how lovely (not), Charlotte Church is preg again after giving birth in September! Why do these people fall preg so easily? They don't know they're born and she's got megabucks to top it off

Yarnie don't worry, I really don't think I'm that crazy.....................yet

Fruity Oh, what happy news(!)

In genuinely happy news, AF has arrived. Yaay!

The 2ww is bloody weird Hope I don't have to endure it too many times and huge kudos to those who have(!) At the beginning of the 2ww, AF is the last thing you want to see. By the time it arrived I was thrilled just to have an end to the agony!

Yarnie Sorry AF made an appearance but you don't sound too down about it which is good. Yes, the 2WW is an emotional roller-coaster. I never temped either so I had no inkling of when AF was due exactly, and the month I got my BFP I was convinced she was about to put in an appearance because I had all my usual pre-AF symptoms! I waited a few days until I was really late to test just to avoid the potential disappointment.
I've just come back from my 20 week scan, all OK except the sonographer said the baby was showing some renal pelvic dilation at the moment. Apparently it happens in 2% of pregnancies and it's not severe enough in my case to warrant referral to a consultant. I just have to go back for another scan at 34 weeks to see what the situation is. The downside is that if the dilation is still present at that point then I won't be able to have the home birth I'm planning On the positive side, she did say that in most cases the problem resolved itself so I'm looking on the bright side. The baby may just have had a full bladder and the fluid was backing up into the kidneys. On the plus side, we got 4 pictures rather than the usual one! DH was trying to spot the sex but found it quite tricky. I couldn't really see the screen very well so we don't know what flavour it is!
It was good to see baby again though
Hope everybody else is OK.

MollieMooma · 19/06/2008 12:40

Fruity So sorry about your PITA cycle! I like the idea of "Mad May" maybe you could hold the consultant hostage until she prescribes or refers
Yarnie So sorry she got you TEW Roll on next OV! LOL at 2WW wierdness, welcome to our world
OK ignorant question time - What is pre-seed? I could just google it but thought I'd let you ladies explain as it sounds interesting
CriCri Are you going to put your new scan photo's on your profile for us nosey bints? Please do I hope by the next scan things have sorted themselves out and you can get the homebirth you want x

After reading that really nasty viscious thread you were all talking about the other day, I'm really scared about putting x or LOL

cricri · 19/06/2008 12:53

Mollie Good to you - how are you these days?
I will put my scan piccies on my profile but bear with me because I probably won't have time to do it today and I'm off to Holland for a long w/e tomorrow so it may have to wait until next week. Thanks for taking an interest though
I haven't had chance to look at the nasty thread you've all been talking about yet - fortunately we're not like that here are we!

MollieMooma · 19/06/2008 12:59

CriCri I'm fine thanks, nothing to report, waiting for OV (still only getting faint lines and no EWCM??) this month. Have a fantastic holiday, will look forward to seeing the pics on your return
The "horrible" thread has to be read to be believed!

SparklyPiliPala · 19/06/2008 15:09

Hi ladies. OPK- for me.
Fruity LOL at the image of you going scatty on the consultant. You might get locked up but it's worth a try. [hugs] to you...XXX
Yarnie I'm sorry she got you. The first part of the month always passes quite quickly for me but the 2WW is a killer.
Cricri Can't wait to see your scan pics. Fingers crossed for getting the all clear at the next scan.
Mollie Keep up the Bding.

SparklyPiliPala · 19/06/2008 20:06

Mollie Clicked post before finishing replying to you earlier. Pre-seed is a lubricant that is supposed to help TTC. I thought I'd give it a go because I've heard good things about it. Hope you're ok HCB.

piper84 · 19/06/2008 21:41

hi ladies, nothing to report here, just stuck in the middle of the 2 ww

Sparkly good luck with the ovulation and ppreseed

hi ladies
hope you are all doing well
not much here i handed my sample in at the docs for testing (again) and asked them to double check with me that everything was as it should be!! last time i sent a sample the lab said it wasnt labelled even though it was so the docs have a record of the sample and its label so the lab cant mess up unless its their fault now anywho the results will be back by next week and then the doc is doing my referral then!
cricri im so glad the scan went well and FWIW i was told a similar thing on my DDs 20week scan! the next scan showed it had resolved itself so try not to worry it is pretty common to have some sort of abnormal reading (and scans arent 100% accurate either! a friend was told her DD had edwards syndrome and should abort her baby (at 21 weeks) and when they rescanned her the radiographer had mismeasured and misdiagnosed!! needless to say her DD is a fit and healthy 2 year old as of yesterday)
fruity i hope you get a surprise OV in the next few days and its not another PCOS crappy cycle
sparkly hi i hope you are ok i keep missing you on MSN lady same goes for you fruity
hi to everyone else i hope you are having a nice thursday evening
xx ei xx

Emmsy1 · 19/06/2008 21:46

sorry have been neglecting you all lately
eldest son still getting twinges of pain now and again, but not consistent, think the cramps are because he rushes his food and plays footy straight away!(hope so anyway!)

fruity I will do an 'egg dance' in the garden tomorrow! I promise!! don't care if neighbours think I've lost the plot!xx
(was talking to a mum at school the other day, she has a DD aged 7. She had blocked tubes and DH had 'slow swimmers'?? she was told chances of pregnancy very slim, she had 2 failed (paid for!) attempts of IVF under her belt and took a break from TTC, she went on a holiday to Mexico! she actually got pregnant when they decided to have a break from TTC!? I felt really when I was talking to her, she wants more and she's 42! I have lots of children, I know I have had 3 M/C's but that doesn't change the fact that I have been blessed with my 'big family' I immediately thought of you (One of the reasons I don't like to post too often, you know salt in the wound and all that) I didn't have my first child until I was nearly 35! I bloody hope you get your wish and they sort your PCOS out xxxxx

sparkly my lovely welsh friend, found a magic wand for you this month hun! please get the b/d in early xxxxx

yarnie you sound a really lovely lady, am
hoping your wait isn't too long! xx

cricri hope your next scan shows that all is well!! (didn't really understand what the problem was, but will google it when I get the chance) love and hugs to you xxxx
