For those who want to look to the future and TTC again I would really like some support, advice etc.
I thought we needed a new thread with positive energy (yes have turned into chanting hippy) so that we feel we are moving forward rather than dwelling on what has already passed.
The only thing I can concentrate on at the moment is that next Wed is the day that me and DH can start trying again (this will be 2 weeks after ERPC).
Anyone else ready to try again?

yeh and me - imnetioned a seller there too, get lots from ebay. now get positive notes in with them as well as lady obviously feels sorry for me testing so often with no joy! at first i thought how nice,.now i think how embarrassing!
did you see your mentions on the 'what can you remember about other mumsnetters?' thread from meeeeeeeeeeeeee!!. i can remember one heck of a lot about some of you! tho, admit, sometimes you all kinda blend together and i cant remember whos got ds/dd, who works, who bakes..... LOL

mishi1977 · 21/02/2005 10:33

pmsl DQ i hardly remember anything.hence the lack of responses to posts even after just reading them..

dramaqueen72 · 21/02/2005 12:35

pardon mishi did you say something??

Bella23 · 21/02/2005 15:02

Bloody hell!!!!!
The midwife has just phoned again to reschedule my appointment - couldn't believe it. Last week I spoke them after the letter I received and had to phone and explain. The woman was really apologetic and sweet and I honestly didn't mind the mistake but for it to happen again and them phone me is just CRAP. The woman was really clipped as well, didn't even apologise, just simply said that no-one had told her!
I feel like shouting at the top of my voice "I AM NOT PREGNANT SO P**S OFF!!
Sorry for rant, just needed to load off.

OP posts:
romilly · 21/02/2005 15:38

awww bella - that is crap of them, honestly!

dying to catch up with you all... bit pushed for time 2day

CD25 arrrrrghhhhhh! holding out still - but horribly tense

dq - 1st AF after m/c always bit weird i reckon

yingers74 · 21/02/2005 15:44

Bella - hugs to you. Honestly talk about rubbish communication in their dept. And the fact she didn't apologise is just outragious.

Bella23 · 21/02/2005 15:57

Thanks ladies, am not upset just really annoyed at incompetence! Anyway thanks for letting me get the rant off my chest.
In our TTC game its Romilly who is stepping up first. The other team members are wishing her well and hoping that she will be leading them into victory......go chase that rabbit Romilly!

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 21/02/2005 16:49

maybe actually bella you should rwite or phone THEM. tiem to say again and out loud 'now hang on, this is crap, have you any idea how we m/c people feel?' because ONLY when they get complaints do they actually make an effort to stop it. its so awful really!!! you SHOULD of shouted. we're always having to be so bloody understanding to people who 'forget' 'dont know' 'didnt think' around us.

can you tell my hormones are out in ernest today!!! i am SO crabby!!! lordy.
I've had road rage, mumsnet rage (!), bickered with dh (and i started it.......) i am mighty fed up, and hate not being pg right now this minute.
sigh.
maybe i should bake something?

Bella23 · 21/02/2005 16:56

DQ - oh dear, hormones are racing. I am picturing the nun scene from Aeroplane when they all take turns slappng her accross the face in order to calm her........do you think this is what you need?? (only joking by the way in case you are offended)
I would suggest a glass of wine? I am now on the wagon as have had wine everyday for the past 2-3 weeks and I am in danger from turning into a lush. I am now in health kick mode in order to maximise chances of ttc, will be like going cold turkey tonight - may have to try the baking myself.

OP posts:
Bella23 · 21/02/2005 16:57

DQ - also big hugs as just realised that I may have sounded a bit flippant. Just a bad day for you..........go get the wine.

OP posts:
mishi1977 · 21/02/2005 20:54

dq..hugs for the hormones hun

bella that is disgraceful...they should get themselves srted out

romilly · 21/02/2005 21:51

sorry to hear you are upset about your mini drama - i shouldnt let it get to you, its her problem not yours. you've got far more interesting things to be thinking about right now

dq - thanks for giving us all a mention on the MN thread - makes me feel Almost Famous (grin) - loved mine, Romilly who doesnt bake!

has been bad day for playing on MN for me today but will be needing all of you over the next few days, i'll even read all your recipes, promise

btw, i haven't tested yet, but only cause i'm too chicken

dramaqueen72 · 21/02/2005 21:52

mishi -am speechles over that 'friend'!!! omg why are some people like that?? dont even get me started today!!!!!!!!! blank her, just absolutely ignore such behaviour.
and yes to the ewcm, its a NOW O-ing sign so get to it!!
can you believe water has been dripping thro the kitchen ceiling this evening? dh is out and so ihave had to clear up and trace the water all by myself........(its the shower leaking under the bath....) omg i HATE today!!!! help! could tomorrow be nice to me?!

romilly · 21/02/2005 21:55

dq - what a nightmare - poor u hope d/h comes back soon to help you out

yingers - which day are you on and when r u testing?

Bella23 · 21/02/2005 21:59

Mishi - Lord above, that woman is no friend! Sorry to be blunt but that is disgraceful behaviour! I hope you can manage to put her out of your mind as it must be very upsetting.
DQ - tomorrow will be better I promise

mishi1977 · 21/02/2005 22:13

hereshoping · 21/02/2005 22:15

Ithink Ive caught the dq baking bug - made soda bread today - in honour of recent Ireland fix no AF yet for me and feeling remarkably serene so prob not for a while
Ive had to enquire through gritted teeth today re health of pg sil and friend both due aug - they are in the blooming stage and im supposedly 'over it'
otherwise ok -steeling myself for conception duty next mth
oldest ds 8 on Sat and dh forgotten and arranged to work despite party - am facing taking 9 children iceskating on my own..

yingers74 · 21/02/2005 22:58

mishi - sorry to hear about your experience, I think she is out of order and you are right to be angry.

Rom - no idea about dates, not got my AF yet and used up all of my ovulation sticks, and they were of no help. Not sure I will test again for a while but then again as I said I get itchy fingers and before I know it, wee in a pot, dip the stick in!!!!!!!!!!!!

girlfromip · 22/02/2005 00:21

bella, muchos empathos for those predatory calls, I said to one woman a couple of weeks ago "Would you please just tell her that I am not pregnant anymore and to stop harrassing me!". Missed ER, bummer. Was it good?
Mishi, I am speechless, that is beyond unethical behaviour - where do people like that come from? What can you do about someone that clueless?
Hereshoping, soda bread, [ sigh ]. Was it fab? It doesn't keep though does it, aren't you forced to just eat it all the same day?
Hope all are well, romilly, yingers and all. DQ, hope you are better now and fast asleep without a care in the world...

Bella23 · 22/02/2005 09:45

Morning ladies
Mishi - absolutely we need to be all on a birth board! My mum is always incredibly lucky and it is her birthday in March so have decided that her luck will be there for us - so good news is on the horizon - ye ha !!
Hereshopping - I soooo love soda bread but I would be forced to eat the whole lot as have no will power, fresh bread you just can't beat it!
GFP - missed ER, nothing earth shattering story line wise so you should be ok for next week.
Yingers, those itchy fingers are a nightmare aren't they. I have started a military type operation with my ov sticks, will see how I do.
DQ - hope the leak is fixed and today starts off better

OP posts:
Bella23 · 22/02/2005 10:28

Please please please tell me to keep away for the "due in August" thread. Why do I do it to myself???? Its like a sick need to really depress myself!! I think I need to be shouted at

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 22/02/2005 10:35

oooooooh yes, today is going well sof ar! phew, thought i might be doomed to crazy hormones for a while.
leak fixed, troublesome radiator also fixed and my cleaner is here doing ironing......all is well in DQ world. also have college tonight which cheers me no end. i am not 'mummy' or 'wife of' at college, i am just slightly mad, slightly silly friendly ME! its nice, just once a week!
oh bread, mm, yummy, hereshoping was it good? i havent baked anything in oh, 14hrs!LOL......Girl i would of eaten the lot in the 'it doesnt keep pretense anyhow!!
er NINE children iceskating? oh gosh hereshoping!!. can you rope in a relative to help you?
sorry the opks showed nothing yingers, tell us your dates again, maybe you O'ed before you started them (thats what i do usually!!)
romilly, when are you TESTING? i'm dying to find out for you!!!!no prob for the mention on that VERY clicky thread. it made me feel very 'left out' and i thought right! i'm going to fix it for my friends...but then found my mind had gone fairly blank for any info about you all.....but remembered some of you for something!!!....my appolgies if i couldnt remember, or it was crap mention..
i'm sure when we are all mothers of the one we're trying for now(and some of you ttc again ) and have been here years and years we shall be able to rule such threads.... sigh, sometimes mn is 'who you know'-ish. and i dont like it very much then.
bella, yes please to your mums luck. just for a few months please.
this af is abit of a breeze, hardly there, but enough to reassure me its af, fabulous.

by the way, any of you been skiing? i posted a thread about ds whos going skiing next month in usa, with the school, could do with any inof on what he should take etc, as dont ski personally.
hugs to you all
DQ...x

Fastasleep · 22/02/2005 10:35

Mishi I want to be your friend..I'm really really sorry for trespassing on here and I won't come back but I guess you've blocked me everywhere else...

If you remember I said I'd sent you a long waffling message in messenger the day after I found out I was pregnant, mainly because I saw a post on here by you and I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I had just been through something so awful and everyone was falling pregnant around me.... the thought made me cry... and I (probably stupidly) wrote a huge message in MSN basically well..telling you. You disappeared offline 2 seconds after I pressed 'send'...I didn't get the message sent back so I assumed you'd got it and that I'd really upset you.... I told you this the other day in messenger! I thought until then that you knew... I was so upset.. I thought I'd been awful... I always screw everything up when it comes to friends and hey ho I probably have a screw loose... I was avoiding you because I was waiting for me to upset you over this...I really really didn't want to I'm so sorry .

I won't tresspass on this thread again I have no right to. You're all very brave women.

yingers74 · 22/02/2005 13:15

BELLA STAY AWAY FROM THE AUGUST THREAD! Please!

Is that any good bella, not very good at ordering people about, am a bit of a push over! Good luck with the sticks, am ordering some now!
Mishi - um, not sure what to say about fast's message. It is up to you, u know her, I don't. i think she is genuinely sorry though.

girlfromip · 22/02/2005 13:18

bella, back away, back away, back away......
