4w5d test still not dark solid

Hi,

after previous losses/ ectopic I’m worried that my tests still aren’t as dark as the control line. I have had progression but I was hoping they would be stronger by now.

im nervously waiting for my results from a blood test today. Hopefully they have risen 🤞🏻

anyone else at a similar stage?

I think they will be suspicious, and my belly will definitely give the game away, they all know we’ve been trying for a long time. I won’t bring it up but if anyone questions I will just say I think! Ahh that’s good you kept everything, I have barely kept anything, crust a couple of things that were sentimental! So will have to buy everything new again. I’m quite happy to do that though as 10 years is a long time in between! Good luck today, how are you feeling? Let me know how it goes, I’m sure it’s going to be great news!! X

@CharlotteRaeit went really well! The woman was soo nice. Baby was all good and moving around loads. Due date 8th Feb! 🎉

how did your Saturday evening go? Did people suspect you are pregnant?

@whatdoyouthink123456oh it was great 😊 measuring 2 days ahead and everything looking fine! Such a huge relief! It’s mad to see it move on the screen but have no awareness of it at all. Can’t wait to be able to feel the movements, will be so reassuring. I wore an over sized shirt so I don’t think anyone could tell but I did end up telling a couple of people which was fine. Xx

Im the same, I keep trying to press my stomach to see if I can feel the baby move. I feel like iv had a few flutters but not sure if it’s the baby.
I wish I could see the baby every day so I know it’s okay. The wait between scans is soo long. I won’t get another until 20 weeks now.
aww that’s nice. Were people surprised? Do people know you’ve been trying a while?

We told everyone at the weekend after the scan. The reaction has been lovely. Most people know we been trying for over 2 years and had a loss etc so everyone is thrilled for us ❤️

@whatdoyouthink123456ahhh yes very similar here, as we’d been trying over 2 years too, so everyone knew it was what we wanted so it’s been really lovely. Yeah we’re the same next scan 20 weeks, does feel a long time but hopefully we can feel somw
movements in the meantime! I’d quite like to take my daughter for a scan in between so she can see but unsure yet x

@CharlotteRae how is your bump looking?
I feel less bloated now, but more bumpy. Iv got my pregnancy pillow out as I can’t sleep on my front anymore.
Iv been looking at some maternity clothes too. I found some trouser in the H&M sale.

Do you gym or anything? I do CrossFit style gym classes. Iv managed to keep up with 3 classes a week. I wonder how long il be able to keep going for! I’m kind of happy that I won’t be able to do chest to floor burpees for much longer 🤣

@whatdoyouthink123456wow you’ve done so well keeping up with your gym classes! I have t exercised the whole of first trimester, just didn’t have any energy. It’s so nice to feel semi normal again! We have a peloton so I need to use that again I think…. Try and cancel out some of this ravenous appetite. I do feel like I have a small bump now, I think more because of a previous c section and having no core muscle strength 😂 I do like having a bump though! Checked my pregnancy notes last night and saw my combined test results were uploaded and all low risk thank goodness! X

I’m 15+2 now and I think I’m finally feeling better! Iv not had exhaustion or sickness for 3 or 4 days now 🤞🏻 im actually feeling a bit more normal.

I think I can feel the baby moving sometimes now, but not loads.

iv got an appointment tomorrow but I'm not sure if its a midwife appointment or if its it see the diabetes team because I had GD with my last pregnancy. I was really hoping to hear the babies heartbeat tomorrow but I’m not sure 🤷🏻‍♀️

have either of you got any appointments scheduled?

@whatdoyouthink123456hello! I’m really good thanks, so nice to feel like I have some energy again! I’m 15w2 today so your a couple of days ahead of me. Yes I have felt a few movements I think, although not much for a day or so, they are quite sparse still and irregular. I have an anterior placenta so was surprised I’d felt anything this early. How did you get on with your app? I had midwife this week and she said they don’t listen in til later on which was a shame. She also said that she normally doesn’t see women who have had a child already at the 25 week app but thankfully she said she would book it anyway as was a long time for me to go without seeing anyone. I have my GD test at 28 weeks so not til later on. Can’t wait for 20 week scan that’s when il start buying I think! Glad to hear everything’s going well for you

my appointment last week was actually about gestation diabetes, I’m doing 4 x blood testing a day now 🙄 they think I have hormonal diabetes so think il have to take insulin as can’t be controlled with diet.
iv got a midwife appointment this weekend so we’l see how it goes. I was really hoping to hear a heartbeat but it doesn’t sound likely.
Iv caved and booked a private scan for Sunday. I just want to see her and check she’s okay. It feels ages until my 20 week scan.

Oh bless you that sounds rubbish! Have you had that before? Yes I look very pregnant! All my customers are asking how long left and look surprised when I say 5 months 😂 Iv been getting loads of kicks too, really surprised as I never thought I would feel them this early and some of them are fairly hard and make me jump! I’m scared at how hard they will get as time goes on haha. I was naughty and got a Doppler so had a listen the other day, took me an hour to find baby but was nice to hear. I won’t use it much though as now I’m feeling movements every day it seems a faff. Ooh I’m jealous of your private scan, my other half won’t let me know said just to wait and save my money. I had a 3d one with my daughter so maybe later on il have one of those so I have the same sort of photos to be fair 🙈 are you showing now or feeling any movements yet xx

@CharlotteRaeyeah unfortunately I had it will my son. It was found really late last time. I think around 30 weeks and it was uncontrollable by that point. Even the insulin struggled. The only positive is that if you take insulin then you can’t go over 38 weeks. So I will have the baby end of Jan.

I think I look pregnant compared to before. But im not sure a stranger would be 100% confident yet.

iv been feeling movements but not strong kicks. More like swirling feelings. I wish I had strong movements to give me more confidence. My husband is the same and doesn’t see the need but I think my sanity is worth more than £65 🤣 so I have booked it.

with the Doppler, how do you know it’s the baby? I heard that sometimes the placenta make a beat too. Are you feeling kicks multiple times a day?

Oh gosh, well at least it’s been caught earlier this time so hopefully will be manageable! Does it all stop the moment you give birth? Ahhh do it!! £65 is a good price!! I never expected to feel kicks so early so they really took me by surprise, it must be a sensitive spot as it’s always the same place I feel them, hoping baby isn’t going to be huge 😂
I have watched sooo many videos, took me an hour to find baby, and heard lots of potential noises which were placenta and myself but when you do hear baby it’s unmistakeable, for me it was like a horse galloping! Totally different to every other sound xx

@CharlotteRaeyes when I had it with my son it went straight away after he was born. I’m glad they will catch it early but they confirmed it’s hormonal so can’t be controlled with food. I will have to take medicine and insulin to try control it.

I had my midwife appointment on sat and she struggled to find the heartbeat but did in the end (after walking around a bit) I had my scan on Sunday and they confirmed it’s a girl 😅 they said my placenta is at the front which is why she found it hard to get a heartbeat. They said I might feel kicks later too.

how are you getting on? have you started thinking of names? X
