4w5d test still not dark solid

Hi,

after previous losses/ ectopic I’m worried that my tests still aren’t as dark as the control line. I have had progression but I was hoping they would be stronger by now.

im nervously waiting for my results from a blood test today. Hopefully they have risen 🤞🏻

anyone else at a similar stage?

@whatdoyouthink123456 ahhhh that’s so good!! Brill news! Yes I’m my fertility nurse has booked me in for a scan on the 26th which should be at 7 weeks so it’s all resting on that. So scary!

Hi, I went for a scan this morning.
scan looked all good 🙂 they could see the sack in the uterus. She said it’s too early to see much else.
im booked for another scan in 2 weeks to check progress 🤞🏻

iv got another scan on Wednesday morning! I should be about 7 weeks by then. I’m nervous and hoping they can confirm viability at the scan 🫣

@whatdoyouthink123456 I have a scan on Wednesday too, I’ll be 6+3. I’ve been feeling fine, very minimal symptoms just find I get bloated as the day goes on and increased appetite. So nervous for Wednesday’s scan, hopefully all will be ok. Hope yours goes well too!

@whatdoyouthink123456hey! So far things seem to be progressing ok, have my first scan booked on Thursday, I should be 7w3 ish so hoping it goes ok. So nervous though, been dreaming about it the last few nights, weirdly just woke from a dream where the entirety of it was spent in the scan waiting room and they never actually did the scan 😩😂 so never put me out of my misery

@Lemonmarigoldwhat time is your scan?
mine is at 10am. I’m trying soo hard to distract myself! I’m working in the office in London today so I’m hoping that keeps me busy!
im soo paranoid about a missed miscarriage!
I keep feeling so bloated after eating, I feel about 6 months pregnant!

@CharlotteRaeis your scan with EPU? Or a private one?
oh no, I hate dreams like that!
have you had many symptoms? iv also felt a bit nauseous, but not too bad.

i just want to see a heartbeat so I can relax a little bit!

@whatdoyouthink123456mines with Epu, my fertility nurse organised it for us which is good. Like you I’m so paranoid about another mmc. Symptoms seem to be ok though, random nausea, boobs heavy and achy and then lots of round ligament pain and little twinges down there. And the tiredness is so bad!!

That’s good. The only thing with my EPU is they don’t give you a photo! which is a shame. I heard someone asking last time and they said no.

what is round ligament pain? Iv had a few pains on the front side of my stomach, they almost feel like iv pulled a muscle or something!
Im feeling soo tired! Im not sure if im dramatic though!

@whatdoyouthink123456 ahh yes that is a shame, might try and take a sneaky pic but I bet they say no! Round ligament pain is basically all your muscles loosening up so they can stretch, every time I sneeze in the wrong position I get the sharpest pain! No I actually have a 9 year old daughter, I have been trying for over 2 years and had one MMC in that time so really hoping I can finally give her a sibling x how about you?

omg I had the same last week! I sneezed and it hurt soo much! I had to hold my stomach!
we have a 3.5 year old. We have been trying 2 plus years too! I had an ectopic last year so I’m super anxious about this pregnancy.

Im really worried about showing early! Iv actually got my hen do next weekend 🫢 and getting married mid July! Not good timing… but I guess beggars can’t be choosers!

@whatdoyouthink123456oh my god! Have you told your bridesmaids? That’s huge! Will people notice at the wedding that you aren’t drinking? That’s a tricky one!!

Sorry to hijack I started a thread yesterday about tests but had no response. Has anyone had extremely dark tests from 10dpo but no progression? I did get a dye stealer at 16dpo today but in previous pregnancies I was only getting faint positive from 12 dpo where they got darker gradually ?

i know! Such bad timing! I’m waiting until the scan tomorrow. Hopefully we see a heartbeat and then It’s a real thing. If it’s all good, I need to speak to my sister and see if she thinks I can blag it or if il have to come clean. It’s just a boozy day local to us, around 15 close friends. I’d prefer not to tell people, but might be less stressful.
The wedding is small with just family so that’s fine. Big reception in August but I’d be far enough then to tell people! The hen do is the worst!? Il only be 8 weeks 🫠

@Unusualtestsyour tests are really dark? Have you got a pic? 10pdo is quite early but everyone has different hcg levels. Did you do a date indicator one?
my tests were really light so I had the opposite. I did a test last night (nearly 6 weeks) and it’s dark now!

Yes I did a CB weeks one today which was 2-3.

Today the test line was definitely darker the above photos are days 10dpo - 15dpo

@Unusualtests how many dpo are you now? I think your tests look fine

I was worrying as they just didn’t seem to be changing I’m used to getting a faint positive 12dpo that darkens over the days this has just started off early and dark and stayed similar till today . I think ill stop testing now as it had made me stressed !

It’s was good news! Straight away she showed me the baby and its heartbeat 🥰 she measured me at 7 weeks which is what I was expecting!

I'm soo relieved, I cried!
