Hope it’s not too early to start this! For anyone trying in May, and “out” for April.

By some miracle I did fall pregnant this month after over a year TTC but it ended in a chemical just before 5 weeks. I’d tried some new things last cycle (inc baby aspirin and L’arginine, using preseed and doing a daily morning walk!) so going to try all of that again this month and keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 don’t know when I’ll ovulate yet but I imagine it’ll be right at the end of April…

Sorry to hear that @charlzz- same as @ChaE05i’m not sure I know what the HCG bloods are for?

@ChaE05thanks! What did they say about being overweight - obv that it’s bad! But how overweight to be ‘bad’?

@SureLook @FlyHighSky72 to be honest I thought I might still be testing positive from my chemical with my tests being so faint and not getting darker! I didnt carry testing until it went negative after I bled. I know it's unlikely but with a bleed and then positive tests not progressing I just wanted to rule out an ectopic from my previous cycle (very unlikely but I'm a worrier!!). At least with such a low HCG I can comfortably say this is a new pregnancy, even if it is another chemical! Thanks so much for being so kind, TTC is a bloody emotional SLOG!!

Can I ask those who have successfully conceived did you notice any immediate change in CM?

I started TTC with tracking CM so i feel like I obsess over it - trying to stop 😆
5dpo today and got normal luteal phase CM so feeling like I am definitely out this month

@ThisZippyViewer I've conceived twice before (one DD & one loss) and I honestly can't remember. Probably cause I wasn't being psycho about it like I am now! I didn't need to track then. I just DTD in my predicted fertile window on my app and forgot about it. Different story now.

With my son I didn't notice any changes or symptoms (including CM) until about 5 weeks pregnant, when all of a sudden I got pretty much every pregnancy symptom going!!

Me!! This is another reason I feel like I'm out. My last 2 recent pregnancies...both ended in miscarriage I had an increase in CM. As In sometimes I would wonder if my period had started. TMI but I felt quite wet. And I had this the whole way through my pregnancy with my son. I feel like it's a major symptom for me. And I just don't have it this month 😒

@ThisZippyVieweri can’t remember anything about being pregnant with my son - he’s 9 so it was a loooong time ago! I also can’t seem to remember anything about what my cycle is like normally 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 I’m trying to track everything this cycle so that if I’m not pregnant I can at least compare with it in future months! (Not really expecting to fall first month, I’m 37! But hoping!!!)

With my DS I had the normal drier sticky luteal CM until about 6/7 weeks when it really ramped up and a bit of brown blood in with it then too, accompanied by cramps. Which midwife said was totally normal for those weeks as it’s when lots of cervix changes happen!

I should add to that, I’ve had a BFP Monday and Tuesday just gone at 10 and 11dpo and have the exact same CM as I would before AF. In testing again tomorrow at 13dpo, I’m hoping it’ll be stronger lines 🙏 I’ll report back if any CM changes happen.

This is what I thankfully did with my son (3.5years). I logged really well on Flo what I was feeling! So with this month, I could tell something was different and with my husband saying ‘I remember you saying that before too’. Welllllll how could I not early test 🤣 so I def recommend writing down how you feel. It’s also useful to spot hormonal patterns unrelated to pregnancy too. I was surprised to find that I consistently log nausea 5 days into my cycle and the day after ovulation. It’s quite interesting to see your patterns!

reaching 6wks tomorrow guys! managed to eat some bangers and mash tonight and so far it’s stayed down - only been about 10 minutes though. Been travelling all day, from Malaga, to Gatwick, to Reading to pick up my car, which actually died on me. Hadn’t been driven in over a week and the battery died!!! Then jump started it charged the battery and drove all the way home to sunny wales. Been a long day, just looked in the mirror and realised I’ve got SUCH bad acne, I’ve never had acne before and I’m just so spotty! All over my chin too. Hope everyone’s day has gone well 🫣

I have read this before about having a girl! Also with sickness, says if it’s bad then is more likely a girl. Have always imagined myself having a son though. Either way, I’m happy just to have a healthy baby that sticks, everything’s going well so far but I’m still cautious. That’s why I like reaching out on here, no one else apart from my partner knows so I don’t have anyone to vent to or just to ask for advice 💕

@SureLook I’m good thank you! I felt a bit sick and a bit tired today but tbh I think it might be psychological because I’m expecting to feel sick and tired! How are you doing?

@jelliebean9 I’m testing alongside you tomorrow and hoping for progression. My period was actually due today (shortish luteal phase) so I’m officially late, which is reassuring.

@ThisZippyViewer I have noticed zero change in my CM at 12dpo and a positive test at 8dpo.

On a TMI note, I am so bloated and gassy. Lucky, lucky DP.

How short was your luteal phase this month @FigPig? Fingers crossed for lovely progression tomorrow for you

@FigPig glad to hear you're feeling good. I'm good, thanks. Trying to distract myself and forget about it all 😂 but I'm in a big bad mood today so that doesn't help! Also curious about your luteal phase being shorter as I think mine is since my MMC.

Fingers crossed for us! My luteal is usually 13/14 days. So I put down for af to come tomorrow or Friday (hedging bets for the 14 days, so not saying I’m late until Saturday). Post in the morning to let me see your lines. I’m convinced it’s gonna end in a CP. trying to be hopeful but it’s so hard isn’t it! Good luck for the morning 🩷

Glad you’re home safe and your dinner is hopefully staying put! Amazing you’re at the 6 week mark. Are you getting into the GP tomorrow?

I’m not sure the dinner will stay, I’m starting to feel really sick. Same happened last night, was tossing and turning feeling the sick brewing in my tummy and tonight’s the same. Hopefully it’ll go away. I’m gonna call them tomorrow because I can’t enjoy meals anymore knowing it’s gonna come back up
