Hope it’s not too early to start this! For anyone trying in May, and “out” for April.

By some miracle I did fall pregnant this month after over a year TTC but it ended in a chemical just before 5 weeks. I’d tried some new things last cycle (inc baby aspirin and L’arginine, using preseed and doing a daily morning walk!) so going to try all of that again this month and keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 don’t know when I’ll ovulate yet but I imagine it’ll be right at the end of April…

Did what i promised I wouldnt and i tested (9dpo🤦🏼‍♀️) but im surprised i even held out this long, albeit with the crappy onestep tests I had left from last month so fair warning that the dye is running in all directions and hasnt actually covered the whole window, what a surprise😂 ive ordered some easy at home arriving tomorrow but I swear I see a tiny something, the tests are absolutely horrendous though so im not even hopeful, i’ll post the photo if anyone would care to lend me their line eyes but pre warning its been edited so the lighting is darker and all of that jazz.

I havent had anything by way of “symptoms” this cycle other than sore 🍈 which i always get anyway😩 i’ve a feeling this cycle wont have been successful but here we are😬 x

Hi all. So my BBT dipped today at 7 DPO, am I out? X

definitely not! I had a dip on 7DPO last cycle and it came straight back up the next day

About 4DPO and still got sore boobs, nothing else to report but it’s still so early. I’m literally here thinking who am I kidding being hopeful as I don’t feel I’ll get a positive this month.

When is everybody testing?

I'm 5dpo and the crazy is already setting in.... 😂I was going to try and hold off until next monday/tuesday so 10/11dpo but I'm lying to myself if I think I will get through the weekend without testing. When are you planning on testing?

Muddysocks1 · 07/05/2025 15:16

I just tested on day 7 which is ridiculously, I knew I 100% wouldn’t see anything as too early so not sure what I was thinking 🙈
I was planning to wait until at least 10DPO.. although that’s Saturday and we’re away this weekend, maybe waiting until Sunday is better. BUT realistically that will be hard! Logically I should let myself enjoy the weekend thinking “I might be pregnant” rather than testing too early before and being in limbo..

FlyHighSky72 · 07/05/2025 16:08

@Muddysocks1im hoping to wait until 10 dpo

curliegirlie · 07/05/2025 16:10

Sounds a good plan. Strip tests in particular tend to be complete squinters until 11dpo.

Meanwhile I'm CD14 waiting for anything approaching a positive OPK 💤

SureLook · 07/05/2025 16:12

How are you doing today @FigPig ?

@Taysonic we're all in this together 💪🏻

@charlzz sorry to hear you're worried. Hopefully this is a new pregnancy 🤞🏻

@ThisHangryTiger you're not out till AF shows up 🤞🏻

@am44a there's a little note on the easy@home tests that advises you when to test depending on cycle length if that helps?

@devma I can see something but I think it might be an indent. Test again tomorrow when the easy@home tests come 🤞🏻

@Iris2024 I'm gonna try hold out until the 17th when AF is due and I'll be 12dpo. Not testing early last cycle really helped with the disappointment!

@curliegirlie do you have longer cycles? I was low until my peak shot up out of nowhere.

curliegirlie · 07/05/2025 16:29

My cycles are a bit random following a MC. I didn't catch a positive OPK in my first cycle afterwards (although it was a fairly standard 29 days long) and then in my second one it was only 17 days long and I think I ovulated on CD7 or 8 🤯.

To be fair my standard ovulation days are CD15 or 16, but the OPKs are still well under 0.2, I'd be surprised if I see a surge happening later today. I'm just feeling a bit impatient and haven't got the security of knowing my cycles are very predictable right now...

SureLook · 07/05/2025 16:41

@curliegirlie mine are a bit all over the place after an MMC but I'm hoping they're settling this month. The night before my peak they were 0.35 and then shot up to 1.42 the next morning. So it could be coming!

I think I'm either having my second chemical pregnancy in a row, OR I'm still testing positive from my one last cycle. Tested yesterday and today and my lines are very faint and not getting any darker, still negative on a CB Digital Ultra Early. I didn't test to negative after the chemical pregnancy last month, as they were super super faint then I started bleeding. Does anybody have any advice please? I just can't believe it's happening again. 😢

How many dpo are you @charlzz?
It’s hard with not having negative tested in the middle.
hopefully the blood test will shed some light on this for you. Its so horrible when you don’t know what’s happening.

I'm 11dpo today I THINK (I don't temp so that's just based on OPKs). I knowww, I wish I'd carried on testing until my tests were completely negative so I could be sure! If this is another chemical i won't be making that mistake again. It's definitely the waiting that's the worst, I'm refreshing my NHS app even though I know the results won't be in until tomorrow at the earliest 😂

Iris2024 · 07/05/2025 17:29

@2Sugars2 The crazy is kicking in this end too 🤣 I’m imagining that I’m feeling twinges 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I don’t know when to test, I’m too scared of disappointment.

@SureLook Good idea 👍 my AF due the 16th but I do sometimes come on earlier. I’m the same as you if I don’t test then no disappointment when no two lines.

@Muddysocks1 Your post made me laugh as why do we do it to ourselves 😂 Sometimes I say I’m not going to test and then before I know it i have a test in my hand and peeing on the stick 🤣

@charlzz I really hope this is good news for you now after all you’ve been through ❤️ We are all here for you x

ChaE05 · 07/05/2025 17:57

Hope everyone is okay! Sorry, so many posts to catch up on. Just thought I would share what I am listening to right now. Diary of a CEO podcast with a fertility doctor. 'The pregnancy doctor' so interesting! Goes into alot of detail about what it takes to get pregnant and what can impact it. I have also just learnt that at my age (38 this month) I have a 5-8% chance of concieving each month 🙃🙃 BFN at 9dpo xx

FlyHighSky72 · 07/05/2025 17:59

Interesting @ChaE05! Any other tidbits you want to share? Has it said anything about baby aspirin?

SureLook · 07/05/2025 18:17

@ChaE05 its confronting to see the figures like that but a healthy couple in their 20s have about a 20-25% chance of getting pregnant so it's all relative really. You're still very early at 9dpo so don't lose hope!

FlyHighSky72 · 07/05/2025 19:08

So I’m 2 dpo and so bloated and gassy - feel like the top of my tummy is full of gas which is odd! Obv not a pregnancy symptom as waaaay too early but I now can’t remember what I’m normally like at this time of the month 🤪! Going to log it all in Premom so I can remember next month

charlzz · 07/05/2025 19:21

HCG bloods are on my nhs app and they are a 9 😭😭😭😭 i know the doubling is important but I'm definitely not feeling hopeful with such a low number

Ec2808 · 07/05/2025 19:24

@charlzzdo you know what dpo you are?😔

charlzz · 07/05/2025 19:28

Ec2808 · 07/05/2025 19:24

@charlzzdo you know what dpo you are?😔

I'm probably 11dpo based on OPKs. So not completely out according to betabase but very unlikely. Last month I was hcg 23 at 12dpo and that was a chemical.

Ec2808 · 07/05/2025 19:33

@charlzztry to keep positive ! If i could give you a big hug right now i would 😔❤️❤️

Oh hun, the anxiety you must be feeling is just the worst. I'm really sorry if I'm missed something...struggling to catch up with all the posts. Is there a reason you have had your hcg tested? Will you get a repeat? Pregnancy after loss is torture. I'm not going to write it will all be okay, because ive been there and know how you feel. Sometimes in your gut you feel it no matter what others say. BUT thinking of you and just try your best to stay positive x
