Morning everybody, looking for support/company in my TTC journey!
Bit of back ground info I'm 39 on Saturday so well aware time isn't on my side. I have 3 Children (19,12 and 6) and have had multiple miscarriages between those 3, last year I had 2 mc and a mmc at 12 weeks which resulted in a major hemorrhage and emergency surgery! We have been TTC actively since but feel very lonely in this journey 😢 Hubby is fantastic and very supportive but I feel speaking with people going through the same will help to feel less alone and less guilty that my body is failing me xx

@Fluffy38 What cycle day are you on now? Yeah I stopped my multi vitamins last month too. Raspberry leaf tea is supposed to thinking the lining of your womb for a better chance of a pregnancy sticking. It’s good for women who have light periods too as it thickens the lining which is what we need. I wouldn’t say my periods are light luckily but going to give it a go again x

Ohhh I might get some today! Mine have always been around 4 days of a steady flow but this one was only 2 days of a med flow but that could be because I was taking ibuprofen for my back. I'm CD 5 xx

May be some inflammation you’ve got still. Glad it’s better for you. Bloody miserable weather here today which is not helping my mood! 🥴 xx

Welcome to the chat lovely, I have 3 kids 19 12 and 6. My 2 eldest (boys) have different sperms donors can't call them dad's as they both walked out durring pregnancy and haven't ever seen them!! And my daughter I have with my hubby we met 8yrs ago and he's taken the boys on as his own our daughter came along and after finding out I was pregnant last April (wasn't trying + on the pill) I miscarried. We had another 2 miscarriages in Sept and Nov and are still actively trying now xx

We have sunshine and a harsh breeze, I'm gonna enjoy my day off today before a weekend full of work but I'm off Monday too so hopefully it's warmer then and we can get out with the kids, the boys are gaming, piggles watching wicked and hubby and I are debating what to have for lunch lol and I'm powering through another book haha 😄 xx

My 20 year old doesn’t see her biological sperm donor either 🥴 my husband has brought her up for the past 18 years. That must have been terrible for you @Fluffy38 and ruined your experience of having a little one in the early days! We planned our 13 year old and our almost 3 year old was a complete surprise. We discussed having another so there would be a small age gap but doesn’t always work that way does it! 🥴 Enjoys your time off work! I haven’t managed to start another book yet 😩 I’m going to try and start one the next few days! Xx

It was hard bringing up the boys and working full time and doing courses but I hold my head high because I did do it and achieved everything I wanted to. I'm lucky all my family are very close by and have always supported me when iv needed them, having my daughter was such a different experience having someone to share the joy with the scans, the baby prep ect and then seeing hubby cut her cord and how tiny but safe she looked in his hands I can't wait to do that again. I know it's gonna be tough as I'm obviously alot older now and tire more easily but it's so worth all the sacrifices we make seeing our tiny humans grow and become who they wish to be xx

Eek. I have taken a range of tests and all positive except the digital boots one. I had a CP last month and AF not due until Friday so not believing this yet. I have always been very ill with migraines when pg and I had a migraine last night. Grin

Awwww congratulations!! I'd say they are super clear positives for 3 days before AF!! What a great wedding present for you both. Hopefully this will be a very sticky lil bean and the next 12 weeks go smoothly ( not that you can relax even after the 12 week mark lol) xx

Hi Fluffy, going good over here. 4w5days now and plan to do a reassurance test at 7 or 8 weeks. Did 3 digital and all positive. Not really believing it still.

BabyBorn · 02/05/2025 14:06

Hey! This won’t let me post for some reason so just testing it again!

BabyBorn · 02/05/2025 14:11

It worked that time! @Fluffy38how are you? Sorry about the delay in replying! How are you doing? I’m just not feeling it at all at the moment and want to give up. I’m thinking if it’s meant to happen it would have by now 😢 We’ve been BDing every day leading up to ovulating and a day after it. I’m 2DPO now. Where are you upto with things? Xx

I'm 5dpo today, currently in hospital with my 12yr old he had a very bad asthma attack Wednesday evening they almost had to put a breathing tube in his oxygen level dripped to 89!! I was at work and hubby called me to say the ambulance was there and they are taking him in. Iv had no sleep for 2 days I'm exhausted. We DTD day before and day of ovulation didn't get much of a change this month lol but we have our fertility app on 16th so let's see what they say xx I feel really bad that you feel so defeated but I do get it the emotional strain of negative test after negative test and pregnant people everywhere it drives you insane xx

Oh god!!! Hope he’s ok! What a fright! I bet you are exhausted! Hope your son recovers very soon and can get out of hospital.

Be interesting to see what fertility appointment brings.

i just know I am a bit too old to be doing this now. If that makes sense. Since I’ve already done it 3 times by body must be past it now 😆 xx

We have not long got home, I have to nebulise him every 4 hrs for the next 2 days but I don't mind I just wanted him home. Looking forward to my bed later that's for sure. I don't think we are to old as such, yes our age makes it more difficult I think the biggest issue is we know to much about the process and what could go wrong that we end up weighing up if its worth all the upset every month xx

Aawww bless you. Hope he’s improving by now and you managed a good sleep last night!
I know, you definitely hit the nail on the head there! The more I know about it all the worse it is to be honest. All the research, stress and pressure! I’m going to have to send my husband for the snip in the next couple of months if we don’t have any joy so I can put this chapter down! Xx
