TTC #4 at 39!

Morning everybody, looking for support/company in my TTC journey!
Bit of back ground info I'm 39 on Saturday so well aware time isn't on my side. I have 3 Children (19,12 and 6) and have had multiple miscarriages between those 3, last year I had 2 mc and a mmc at 12 weeks which resulted in a major hemorrhage and emergency surgery! We have been TTC actively since but feel very lonely in this journey 😢 Hubby is fantastic and very supportive but I feel speaking with people going through the same will help to feel less alone and less guilty that my body is failing me xx

We're all guilty of that I'm lucky if I get an hour to myself most days with work, 3 kids, 3 dogs the hubby and the endless housework and washing lol so I make it a priority to have at least an hour in the evening for me to have a cuppa and a few chapters of a good book it's also helped me to sleep better!! Xx

Ha ha I’m lucky as we have our own business and I work from home so am very flexible. I also have 3 kids and 2 dogs! How are we thinking we are going to fit a 4th in?!?! 🤭😬😂😂😂x

Lmao because we are pro's I actually find it easier having more kids when I have my sisters kids too that's 6 all at once and they keep each other amused lol. Mine are 19,12 and 6 so they will all be helpful in a round about (I hope!) My 2 eldest wernt planned I brought them up alone whilst holding down a full time care job both of their dad's walked out when I was pregnant and then I met my husband and he took them on as his own and we decided to have one together then we thought we were done, until I fell pregnant early last year whilst on the pill! Then we both knew we wasn't done and wanted another so 3 failed attempts last year in total. This year will be our year xx

Aawwww sorry to hear about your losses. You sound like a warrior woman!!

My eldest is 20 and my husband has brought her up since she was 2. She doesn’t see her biological dad. We have two together 13 next month and 32 month old. Only our middle child was ever planned, when we’ve been trying we keep loosing them! We’ve had two losses since June last year 😩 Hopefully this will be our year! 🤞 xx

It will definitely be our year, I'm bringing all the positive vibes and sending them your way too!! We can keep each other sane through this whirlwind journey xx

100% especially when it's with someone that understands the intense emotions that run along side it, being able to express how you feel without sounding insane lol xx

I know. It’s the hardest thing a woman can go through I think. All the worry from start to finish. It’s such a crazy emotional journey. I think I am mad to be doing it all again to be honest but if it is meant to be it will be!!

I bought some books today too 😆😂 Some spicy sounding ones! 😂😂

Ohhh which ones did you get? I hope you enjoy them, I was on the fence at first but they are really good be warned tho it does become addictive and you don't wanna put it down lol 😆 xx

I bought 3, started reading Hooked by Emily Mcintire! Not sure what the other two are called as haven’t got them to hand! Started it last night and hope I get “hooked” 😂😂 Glad you are enjoying yours! x

Iv just stared filthy rich vampire book 4!! Iv done the other in just over a week! Lol 😆 the book you have just started is part of a series! I brought it but haven't read them yet so let me know if it's any good xx

Had my claws done this morning my monthly treat to myself for all my hard work haha 😄. Iv heard good things about the books so I spotted them in the works all 5 for £20 so I had to have them lol I'm gonna start them once iv finished my current one xx

Claws 😂😂 they looks lovely. I have monthly nails too 😆 I’m going to go to the Works. I didn’t even think of there and got 3 books for £20 in WH Smith 🥴 xx

The works do alot of boxed sets on the spicy books lol, I never used to worry about my nails but last year I started having them done and caved in and had Lashes too and I wouldn't not have them done now I feel so much more confident in my self now which sounds silly but I feel more feminine lol xx

God I used to have lashes for years. I stopped having them done when I found out I was pregnant with my nearly 3 year old as didn’t want to get the glue in my eyes etc. Took me a very long time to get used to myself without them and I hated it for ages! That’s why I wouldn’t get them done again. Too time consuming and I’m in another place now. I’ve had my nails done every month since 2016 🥴🥴 it’s the only thing that bothers me the most. Can’t not have them done. I love neat and tidy painted nails. I can go without getting my hair done for ages 😂😂 nails, no. 🙄😬

Oh god my hair well 90% of the time it's tied right back because of work ( senior carer) so I don't have to do to much with it but it takes forever to colour it because its so long both my daughter and i have bum length hair and I hate having it trimmed lol. I had it cut to jaw length about 15yrs ago and cried for 2 days with regret lol 😆 xx

I don’t even you with having to tackle your long hair 😬😂 I don’t do mine myself, I go to the hairdresser every 9 ish weeks and have a semi permanent on it and a little trim. I have thick hair so couldn’t have it too long as it takes ages to blow dry and straighten as it is 😬😂 mines long than shoulder length and I go through phases of having it longer, since I’ve had my little girl nearly 3 years ago I feel like I don’t have time to do as much as I used to and can’t be bothered either 😂 I’ve never had Botox or anything like that but maybe I will try it in another 5 years or so! Ha ha.

I Don’t envy you with having to tackle your long hair that was supposed to say! 🤣

Lol, mines naturally quite straight so it's not so bad, iv never done botox either the thought of needles near my face freaks me out and I have like 20 tattoos lmao I'd be so worried it went wrong or with my luck I'd have a dodgy reaction and look like the dude from the goonies haha 😄 xx

@BabyBorn I'm gonna call it for this month, got my static smiley face this morning and we haven't DTD once this cycle! I feel so deflated xx

@Fluffy38never used that before, are they clearblue ovulation tests? Doesn’t that still mean you’ve not ovulated yet but are about to? Means you still have time ?! xx

Yep the clear blue kits, when you get a static smiley face it means your egg is about to release so you have 24-36 hours to get the swimmers. I'd like to hope we can get a session in tonight but I'll be working until 10pm!! I think we may have been a little to relaxed this month lol xx

Well, you better jump him tonight then!! 😂😂 I fell pregnant with just one go in May but it unfortunately ended in a miscarriage. You’ve still got time! I’m hoping I will be ovulating next week! Xx
