Just thought I'd post this to find some buddies in the TTC journey as a clueless gal trying for baby #1 ! 🫶🏽
Ovulated today, so I guess the 2WW starts ! ⏰

I’m 2 DPO trying for baby #1 too!
Feel like the 2WW is sooooo long already 😂 will be climbing the walls this time next week trying to resist the urge to test!!

Oh well let's go through it together then !! I don't even know if we timed the DTD right 😂 I hope so ! Fingers crossed for both of us ! 🤞🏼

I already find it hard to plan DTD 😂 it's very technical and scientific in the end !!

This is my second cycle 🥰 so very new to it too!! I know, I have tracked BBT for around a year as I came off contraception and opted to use natural cycles as my birth control. But I second the hard to plan, this month I thought I’d done a good job then natural cycles confirmed my ovulation as a day later 🤣 but it is what it is!! Trying to be laid back and not stress about it.

@KT199 I've not done the temperature yet ! Maybe I should but even when I have a fever I feel like I don't use the thermometer right so idk how I'd manage to get accurate readings 😂
Maybe I'll do it next cycle if this one doesn't work just to be sure that my LH rise matches the temp ! Did you use opk too ?

Hey! I'm 2DPO too! Not sure either if we DTD at the correct time as this is the first time I used OPK tests. DTD cycle day 10 and day 13 - which was the day I was meant to have ovulated. It really feels like 2 weeks are going to drag!!

It's so hard to know isn't it !
I started peaking at day 18 (I have long ish cycles) so we dtd then, and then yesterday at my peak cd20) . Heard some people dtd for 7 days straight I don't know whether we should have done this but sounds intense 😅

Yeah I feel like it's a different kind of pressure when TTC!! It's crazy that you are not really fertile for that long each month!! Hopefully these next two weeks go quick for us! ❤️❤️

I use my Apple Watch, it does it automatically! But if your are gonna start temping you need a BBT thermometer and you have to take as soon as you wake on a morning, no talking/moving/sitting. If I didn’t have my Apple Watch and it set on an alarm to do it auto id have no chance🤣. Additionally, you have to have had it least 4 hours so solid sleep so not good if your a restless sleeper! I honestly would say it’s more hassle than it’s worth 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah I used OPK’s, but I got my first positive Monday (CD13) peak CD15 and then my watch said I ovulated CD17 so, unsure which is reliable 🤯. It’s all so complicated.

@slothbat heyyyy! Cycle twins this time around!! Good luck to you! I read as long as you’ve got into that 5 day fertile window you have a chance, fingers crossed for allllll of us!!

@Lila34830 @slothbat We did 3 days in a row and that felt enough, not a chance I could do 7 😂. I think it would take the fun away completely! But each to their own, I guess some people have crazy high sex drives sooo good for them!

Hello ladies, so happy i found this post, i am probably day 1DPO (i havent tracked ovulation this month).
Glad we can spend this TWW together.
I’ve had a MC early this year. And nothing since. Hopefully this October will be the month for all of us.

Let's keep occupied for the 2WW. First cycle I went awfully obsessed and was testing from 6 dpo which I refuse to do this time around as it did not do me good mentally !!

Thank you @Lila34830 i agree with you on this, testing early isnt ganna do me good. To keep my sanity I only test now the day of due date of AF.

@HeartyPanda good idea ! It's hard, but if it's negative, I don't want to remind myself it's negative my testing early for 10 days! How long are your cycles.? Mine are between 30/33 days !

I am planning to make a busy Schedule for myself this time around to keep my mind off of it, seing friends, spending time with family, going for long walks and being productive in work. Hopefully i can manage :D

Same really, although I do wish I’d lined more up to keep me distracted!! 🤣 if we don’t get a positive this month, going to make sure next month I plan a few things in the TWW to hopefully make it fly by ☺️ but hoping that doesn’t have to be a thing at the same time!

I don’t think it should if your already past ovulation!! 😊 although I’m not obviously 100% sure.
