Just thought I'd post this to find some buddies in the TTC journey as a clueless gal trying for baby #1 ! 🫶🏽
Ovulated today, so I guess the 2WW starts ! ⏰

Another day down, Yeyy!! I’m 6/7 DPO today.

No symptoms, I was REALLY emotional last night.. crying, getting mad, and quite snappy with my OH, which I feel bad for today 😞. This was out of character for me, usually I get like this the day before AF and will cry over spilled milk. My boobs feel a little sore today, but typically they would at this point in my cycle. But no cramping, bleeding ect which would suggest an actual pregnancy.

Let’s try keep positive, and hope our BFP’s arrive next week! 😊

@KT199 ah bless you that's not good, sometimes hormones so that to us! Don't feel bad, I am sure he understands. I don't feel anything other than slightly sore boobs which is merely progesterone. I have no other symptoms. I don't think it be lucky this month, I'm gearing up for another month of disappointment! Fingers crossed there are some bfps on here next week xx

@KT199 bless you ! I do feel insane before my periods! really bad pms usually , but if it's out of the ordinary for you then it could be a good sign !

@HopefulSS I think you're right to be honest, I'm trying to hold off until 12 dpo which would be next Thursday ! On cycle 1 I tested positive at like 7 dpo and then negative so I'm not doing this again !

@Lila34830 I think it’s most likely a little early and I was reading that progesterone peaks at 7DPO (if not pregnant) so most likely just a build up of the hormones causing the inner crazy to appear 😂. At 6/7DPO most likely that implantation hasn’t even happened! I am terrible at symptom spotting though, every little twinge or feeling I'm like OMG is this it?!!?! Then I have to have a word with myself to rationalise everything!

@HopefulSS no symptoms doesn’t mean a negative test!! LOADS of people experience no symptoms and go on to get their BFP, you’re not out until AF arrives 😊. I also think a large percentage of people who get early symptoms are initially just spotting PMS signs due to the hormones, there’s months where people think they are 100% positive due to them.

100% agree with you @KT199 ! I always try and rationalise thinking symptoms before implantation are nothing because the hcg can only rise after a few days past implantation !

@HopefulSS my friend had zero symptoms even after positive test ! And she was prengnant with a healthy girl !

I tested my ovulation until 3 days after peak for my own knowledge and my LH went sooo low after the pic ! Between 0.1/0.15!

i woke up in a bad mood due to nightmares (two nights in a row).

@KT199 i think im 6/7 dpo just like you, no symptoms just bad night and nightmares, but that’s just me overthinking. Sorry you felt snappy, i m sure your OH will understand.
the spotting thing happens to me each cycle like you said! Haha! Those TWW are not joke 😅

i’m just like @HopefulSS i hate to see negative tests, i would easily sob after seing one. So waiting til Thursday or Friday to test if AF isnt here. Last month AF came early so she didnt give me the time to even test!

@Lila34830 exactly!! Unless I have any bleeding and or cramping I don’t think I would attribute anything to pregnancy, as I think getting my hopes up, being convinced I’m pregnant and then have them shatter/fall if I got a negative test would really upset me.

@HeartyPanda Good luck testing, you’ll have to keep us updated!! ☺️☺️ I’m trying to hold out until 11/12 DPO - Monday, with AF due Tuesday/Wednesday. Don’t think I want the daily feelings of sadness this cycle if they’re negative!! I find them quite hard to shake and don’t want to spend my weekend feeling down!

I had that cycle 1! But part of me wants to know if I have more chemicals because it means we can get help, but the other half I'm like I don't want to know unless it's going to stick!! It's so hard!! X

Yeah you are right, a lot of my friends had no symptoms at all before a BFP, no cramps or spotting or anything. I just don't want more disappointment! Last month I just had an inkling it wasn't my month as I didn't feel ovulation like I normally do. It just wasn't as painful and I just knew the egg wasn't a good one. The first cycle when I had the chemical, I had lots of egg white leading up to ovulation and strong ovulation pains. I've had that this month so if it doesn't work this time I'll be a mess if AF arrives Wednesday!! I Guess it's hard to be positive or even comprehend I could be pregnant right now as I feel totally normal. Other than sore boobs but that's progesterone for me 😂

@HopefulSS my due AF is next week, i’m only6/7 dpo. i’m sorry i think i didn’t specify, so i’ll be testing next week thursday/friday. Seems like ages right 😆!

@HeartyPanda yes feels like forever! I don't know whether to test Sunday and 12dpo or not?! It will be so upsetting seeing a negative test.... or maybe wait until Monday morning but then it will be a kick in the teeth first thing Monday if the test is negative 🫣

Hi Everyone, been lurking so thought I'd join in. Trying for baby #1 at 36. Feeling like a dinosaur and like I've left it too late but hopeful. This is cycle 3 of properly trying. I swear I never have cramping between periods but both this month and last month I had almost constant light cramps during TWW. Last month I also had spotting which I never have so I was so sure it was implantation and then period arrived 5 days early, which is also rare. Think that one may have been a blighted ovum? Really hope this is our month as I am hating this process!

@HopefulSS ive debated trying to hold my urine Sunday aft, get the baby’s party out the way and then maybe test 🤣 as Monday AM negative to then have a day in work is not sounding ideal, but will see how I get on. Maybe holding in work Monday is more sensible and doing on the eve once I’m home!

@HeartyPanda @Lila34830 next week will be here before you know it! By next weekend we should all know where we stand, whether we’re gearing up for another cycle or being anxious/excited/indenial about our BFP’s!

@continuallyconfused heyyy!! How many DPO are you?☺️ are you an early tester or do you like to wait? Ahhh we all want our BFP’s here, hopeful for us all this month!!! This process is very stressful, you’re defo not the only one feeling that!

@HopefulSS If i have to choose I’ll test the day AF is due! Hopefully we will have the willpower! If you feel you can’t handle disappointment monday morning, you can either test sunday or Thuesday ! But as we all know the later we test the more accurate the results are!

@KT199 I'm not actually sure. I ran out of the piss sticks just as I was going into my fertile window per the Apple Health app (have been tracking periods in there for years). I went by cervical mucus mainly, and had egg white type so hoping I caught it. If so I think I'd be about 5-7dpo

i know exactly what your talking about, it’s hasn’t been a long time since you started ttc, it’s quite normal for you to be extra carful and mindful about your body, interpreting every cramp, also the early AF is a thing! My friend and i experienced the same for a few cycles.
i never had implantations bleeding even when i got pregnant and miscarried! Maybe you body is adjusting with the new TTC thing.
Take a deep breath, we all need one to get through the next few days.
Finger crossed for all of us for many BFPs.

Just popping in to say I hope you're all doing ok mentally/emotionally! I know everyone says TTC is stressful but I didn't realise how much it affects you straightaway... this is only our first month trying but already its getting to me!

Hey! Ah it's lovely to hear from you. I am 35 trying for number 1 too & I also feel like a total dinosaur. I know my AMH is on the lower side too so I know time is not on my side. It wasnt horrifically low just borderline so I know I need to conceive relatively quickly if I want more than one! Nothing like the body clock ⏰ ticking away in our heads 🫣 I have been hopeful that we will get lucky before Xmas having a chemical on our first cycle of not actually "trying" where we only had sex one on ovulation day, but now on cycle 3 and like you not enjoying the process at all. I don't have any symptoms whatsoever and it's making me feel like I am out for the month. Which fills me with dread!! X

@KT199 god it's a minefield!! I don't know what I will do. Part of me wants to test Sunday the other part thinks May as well wait until I've missed my period. But that's a week from now and that feels like a year!!!! Defo don't do Sunday morning if you have Sunday plans.... Monday afternoon could be better :)
